delicious. only wish there was more of it.
super enjoyable - basically a cute way to explore cute gradient animations. lovely game. thank u !
Great colors, weird shapes appearing everywhere. However, it is sad that it is too short. It could be a better game with a more detailed storyline and more stages. Maybe we can see some extensions in the following days, who knows, eh?
Chilling surrealiality
Pure eyegasm, but not much of a game.
If you want an artistic game that doesn't actually have much gameplay (all you do is walk around, talk to NPCs and collect cans) and is very short.
Some would say it's not worth those 3 bucks, and they're probably right, but it's good to support creative developers so they can buy themselves that frozen pizza for 3 bucks.
If youre high and thinking about buying it, im here to tell you to do it.
I could live here. Beautiful, creative, surreal. Songs of the Lost, Museum of Symmetry, and Fast Machine (PALGAL on itch.io) are also lovely and worth your time
I completed it twice in the time I've played. Fun art and really quite interesting for a small amount of time. If it goes on sale for more then 50% off I would say buy it if you like super trippy games and fun art.
That was intense, I was not ready for that. Great experience, the art is amazing. Short but very enjoyable.
A really trippy experience...i wouldn't reccomend if you don't like minimalist art tho...the game is a bit short, (max 30min of gameplay) but mostly you have to enjoy the art and the animations of it.
Psychedelic, surreal and awesome. Love it. I want more. Atmospheric, artistic and original. I'd also like to drop with the lead creator if you know what I mean...but default should be changed so it's not on inverted, that should be what you change to if you want it, most don't in first person. If you're patient and intelligent you'll want to stop and just soak it in as things develop in each area. Scary how dense people can be. Ever enjoyed a painting? That takes no time to get through and you see it all at once. This is like a painting that devlops as you go. It's really short if you mindlessly head for the finish. Takes as long as you are desirous to stop and appreciarte each scene and the way in which it develops. Still do wiish it were longer though, cause it's awesome. There that's good. Buy it.
It's a real nice trip. made even better by picking up trash to feel more whole
Great graphics and a unique and interesting look. However this game is way too easy and quick to complete. Definitely not worth the money. More of a novelty experience than anything else.
A very appealing prototype. Simple mechanics yet gorgeous psyche-colours and mood. Loved the NPC non-sensical lines and the overall quirky atmosphear. Wished there were a VR-compliant option. Worth a try when discounted. Pop!

As others have pointed out, this game is short. If you don't want to play a game you could ostensibly finish in 20 minutes your first try, look elsewhere. Now, a game's length is not an indicator of its quality; games as disparate as Pacman and Dys4ia accomplish a great deal with a brief playtime. The issue with Gardenarium is that it does not do enough meaningful things with the duration that the player spends with it.
Gardenarium has you climb Seussian hillside, collecting trash that causes the landscape to populate with vegetation. Along the way you meet a few nonsequitor characters who tell abridged tales of their life. The game has an abrupt ending where the gameplay perspective changes and asks the player to wander around.
Despite my dry description, there's some actual intrigue here. The aesthetic to Gardenarium is utterly psychedelic, as alien plants pulse and throb with gorgeously animated high-resolution sprites. The flora also grows in amazing patterns that track your movement, similar to the flowers that grow around Ameratsu in Okami. The few charcters you meet also have quite a bit of personality, and some of their lines allude to tragic and humorous anecdotes. The switch of perspective is also an amazing concept for a game mechanic, not unlike what was accomplished by Super Paper Mario, but the promise of toggling between two and three dimensional planes was not used for any kind of clever transdimensional level design. A pity, really.
It's entirely possible that there's some sort of obtuse hidden content that extends the experience past the apparent ending, but I wasn't able to unearth it. On the contrary, there's a lot suggest that this game was intended as more of a playable pitch for a more complete game, or maybe even a portfolio piece. The animation included is obviously very time-intensive to produce, yet the world has little to explore or do in it. The endgame is an interesting concept, but doesn't seem to expand the the game in any meaningful or mechanically satisfying way. Even the vauge theme of corporate disillusionment murmered by the cast doesn't seem very well fleshed out. The game very much feels like it's less than the sum of its parts, as the each individual component seems too compromised.
I ultimately enjoyed the time I spent with this game just because I'm an animation nut, and I'll let the developer keep my money out of appreciation for their craft. That said, I would not recommend the game unless you can't get enough of its visual style. To the developers, I hope you continue animating and eagerly await your future output!
Gardenarium is yet another walking simulator that couldn't be bothered to do anything of interest. You can talk to anyone of 4 characters, while struggling to platform and pick up soda cans. This game's only real selling point is it's vibrant and "trippy" graphics, but the minimalism style the developer used just falls short. There is one notable part where you walk through a cave and you're basically just staring at violenty bright solid colored wall for a few minutes. You'll breeze through this game in under 30 minutes if you do decide to play it and it never feels like anything more then a tutorial level for a real game.

I don't recommend this "game" unless it's on sale, and you're high. It's basically a walking simulator heavily inspired by Proteus, except with uncomfortable controls. The art is nice -- minimalist and colorful. But to say there's not much substance is an understatement. I'm not even sure that I actually 100%'d this game.
Overall, it's a nice art project that's worth looking at if you're seriously in the mindstate for it. But most people might be better off to save their money. I'd have probably given it a thumbs up if it cost $1. But it's overpriced at $3-whatever.
Short (~30 mins if you dont get too distracted) explorer with nice visuals and music. Light on gameplay, big on surreal ambiance and charm. The animation is especially fun.
Short but sweet Yellow-Submarine-ish romp through the clouds. The characters were really funny and interesting, and the world was a pleasure to explore
Absolute trip from start to finish! Awesome soundtrack and stunning visuals. I'd say a bit short for how much it costs, but still recommend buying if you're into some trippy visuals.
