- Fight against an array of villainous creatures that dare try to stop your bear way of life, from the horrible bunny rabbit to the dreadful frog.
- Find things to eat like bugs, mushrooms, plants or various bits of food left by humans. All of which increase your bear stats: Strength, Dive and Intelligence to name a few.
- Collect cosmetics like hats, find curious things to decorate your den, discover strange and confusing bear beds. All very realistic bear behavior.
- Discover secrets but keep them secret ya hear?!
- View your bear through the Bear Face Cam. With it you can display your hats!
- Read the markings left by other animals after upgrading your nose.

This game is very bear
I can say this with all of my heart, Bear Simulator is undoubtedly, without even a speck of hesitation or uncertainty that it is truly a life-changing game.
Ever since I've first bought and booted up the game many, many years ago - thankfully having watched a Youtuber play it which made me gain interest in this - I have been utterly infatuated; and I've been smiling ever since.
Bear Simulator has touched my heart and changed me into a better person, and I still shed tears on it this day. Thank you.

Memes and jokes aside, I picked this up because youtuber played it and it looked fun and... in all due respect there is something fun to it. There is humor and effort here as well as an underlining mystery that brings you back to try to unravel and figure out what the hell happened in this world.
It being a rough single developer game with some bugs isn't as terrible as it sounds. It works mostly and can be an unique exploration experience, but it still feels very incomplete and lacks basic quality of life tools like a damn map or any form of navigation tools. The fact that there is no way to keep track of where you are or anything like "Bear Vision" to highlight items a makes finding every one of the 100+ hidden items damn near impossible. There are posts in the discussions to this day of people just not able to find all the stuff spread out. While some people have made lists to find some items I don't think anyone is going to put a complete list of everything together... EVER. Meaning you're only bet is just to search the expanse endlessly and just get lucky.
Heck there was a guy in the guides section who had like 100 stats in everything and STILL hadn't killed all the damn birds to make big foot come out.
I heard the developer quite because of Pewdie Pie picking on him, which is a damn shame because again, there is something neat and mysterious in this game and I want to know what the fuck is going on. There are people in the discussions with 300+ hours who still haven't finished the game because the last build broke it and made somethings impossible. Like...the dev purposely tried to sabotage the game before the abandoned it.
I paid full price for this and sank 8 hours over the past few days into this game before finding out that I essentially will never be able to complete it and can't return it now either. So... fuck. I want to like this game and say you should buy it. I really do, but I can't in all honestly do that because I'd be lying to you.
I'd be ignoring the fact that the game is broken, rough, incomplete, and will likely never get the fix and attention it needs. This is a serious review for those who are honestly interested in this game. Not a meme review saying thumbs up because of 'bears' or a pity review because I feel bad for the developer (which by the way, what happened to them WAS wrong). But that's not the point.
A youtuber bullied you and that sucks, but you have a product. People PAID FOR THIS. People gave you money for this game. People are still buying this game because they think its interesting and good and you abandoned it? I'm sorry man. Be an adult, suck it up, and finish what you set out to do. Fix and finish the game for those who still support you and want to play it. Show good faith to your customers and give us a real reason to recommend this game to others or... pull the game.
Stop selling an incomplete project and duping others into buying it when you know you're not going fix or finish it. Life is tough, some people can be assholes, but that doesn't mean you get to mistreat the people who supported you and bought your product.
