Unfortunately does not work for non-steam games (e.g. Lineage 2)
This is a very useful tool for fixing games that don't work well with multi-monitor set ups. putting dark mode behind a paywall is kinda scummy but since you rarely have to look at the program i guess it's not a huge deal.
I've found it useful for running multiple things at once because im a huge nerd
save your money. get the free version which comes with dark mode. lol
this is a great software. super light and works as intended. my only complaint is that dark mode is locked behind a paywall, which, why would you do that? Borderless Gaming is FREE outside of Steam. i already went out of my way to support it. why would you make me pay extra for dark mode (also available for free for non-steam users)?. seriously?! 💀💀
Got the job done when I was having issues using windows on my other monitors
I just want to say that this software has never crashed on me, and I use it almost every night to span a triple-monitor setup at 8560x1440. I use the GitHub 10.0.0 version rather than the Steam version — not sure if that makes a difference.
In response to Scumbag's comment, the software isn't redundant because it serves different purposes. If you're working with multiple monitors at different resolutions, you'll need tools like Borderless Gaming or Resize Raccoon. In my opinion, Lossless is focused on performance gains while maintaining good visual quality, whereas Borderless is ideal for creating a high-resolution screen spanning multiple monitors. The "borderless" feature in both programs is more of a byproduct than their primary function.

It's handy, when it works. When it doesn't, it's a nightmare.
Not sure why, but when I enable the 'borderless' mode, it ignores the window size and instead goes 'fullscreen borderless' and then crashes. Reopening Borderless Gaming won't fix the 'fullscreen borderless' window. Neither will uninstalling the program that's now stuck in fullscreen with no title bar.
Not worth the hassle. I'll just play in regular windowed mode.
Also, charging extra for Dark Mode? Really?

doesnt work for me. it just says loading in the bottom of the app, i tried to get it to work for just cause 3 but its just now working at all and i dont really want it on my pc due to other reviews, i am going to try and find any alternatives.
I bought this for the purpose of playing Windows 95 games in Windows 11 (for windowed-Borderless mode)
It didnt matter what I did (tried every config possible + tried Beta) - it did not work.
Sadly I had no choice but to get a refund. Good concept, but sadly not fit for purpose for old Windows 95-98 games that still run on Windows 11, but not optimised for Full HD/widescreen (Borderless would have been perfect)
I have a samsung ultrawide and wanted to have a 16:9 game in the center and 2 windows for multitasking, this is a huge quality of life to have a 16:9 2k resolution that is not available on some titles, it also removes the title bar for more screen room! 10/10. you can also download for free from git but I think its definitely worth the 7 bucks!
Very helpful for a lot of games and applications that dont have borderless fullscreen, also i somehow have the dark mode achievement without having the dark mode dlc :P

Very good for playing Minecraft and watching YouTube at the same time. I have to tab out to switch to my second monitor while playing Minecraft to change videos and that can be annoying, but with Borderless Gaming I can just move my cursor left without having to stand still and stop.
borderless gamering
i have mostly used this to play Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, also the old Mass Effect Games. For both it spared me endless fiddling and countless Voodoo Rituals to get the old game running on a current System with 3 Screens without crashing as soon as i alt tab. If older Games are throwing a fit this is the first thing i try.

Worked like a charm! DS2 and 3 on borderless is just absolutely glorious
i like it a lot, it works well for me & i actually prefer it over loseless scaling bc the way it goes through the scaling process feels much smoother than losscale tbh. my main gripe with this is that it doesn't have frame generation or any of the alternative upscaling methods that that does but i do already own loseless scaling so if i need the performance i can use that instead of this
a guy from a long while back tried to dunk on me for my 'hours' on borderless gaming on top of other idle games that are meant to run in the background. I dunno why it made him mad but it was kinda funny.

No support! Don't bother getting any support if you get into trouble. The app doesn't center the screen on an odyssey Oled G9. You have to draw the outline of your screen and with that it's not 100% you'll get 2560x1440. The customization of this app is poorly made. Don't waste your money. This app should free.

One of the most simplistic, it-just-werks things I've ever used. If you've tried Fullscreenizer and it isn't workin', this'll do the trick. Perfect for Phantasy Star Universe.
Makes old games run in borderless mode like current day games. sometimes you'll need to apply workarounds like having an old game to run on windowed mode in order to effectively run in borderless mode to avoid problems like not being able to click around in the game that is running in borderless mode incorrectly.
It's a great program that does it's job well, even with workarounds.
