This is the sequel to The Labyrinth of Grisaia. It is strongly recommended to play the first and second game before starting this.
He thought life at the academy would never change.
Everyone marched forward in the same direction, matching step for step; before he knew it, he began to surrender to that illusion.
He believed that he would only arrive at the same place if he continued down the same path as everyone else.
Then he realized.
Just as there are as many paths as there are people, no two paths are identical.
—"Asako. I've already saved the five of them, you know?
So it's all right, isn't it...? It's all right... for me to die now, right?
I know that even if I save somebody, it doesn't mean I can erase my past.
Still, wouldn't it mean I can die with a smile on my face?"
"I might not be able to see those girls anymore.
But at least those memories would stay in my heart forever.
Still, this unforgiving world isn't full of girls sweet enough to be satisfied by those words alone."
That was the truth one young man finally understood...
The final chapter in the Grisaia series, featuring Prologue De La Grisaia, a prologue set before Yuuji's arrival at Mihama; Blanc Aile no Tane, the overarching story's grand conclusion.

You have reached the finish line
This was truly a great VN. Yuuji is probably the best "That's literally me" character in anime. Even the Heroines who usually end up becoming fodder characters for the MC to shine all got their spotlight and managed to surpass themselves. Every character in the series has come a long way and we even get a prologue episode that helps consolidate how grand their character development has been. This has been a great series with the fruits of grisaia being a masterpiece.
🟩 Pros 🟥 Cons
✅Wife material waifus
✅A lot of attention to details with a character's thought process after knowing their backstories from the previous grisaia's.
✅A story that brings out all sort of emotions from you. The Side stories are also pretty good but the endings were not as strong as the first grisaia
✅Great art, music, VA
⛔️Weak ending but conclusive

The story of this release is awful
It's pretty much a linear story with only 2 endings and 2 choices to make. It provides a closure to the story. I'm satisfied even though it had a harem ending.
★★★★☆
Final chapter in the Grisaia series, this game is a fine conclusion and slightly better than part two.
[+]⠀While it doesn’t have the epic proportions of the first game, The Eden of Grisaia is much more focused than the second one. The story presented is quite long, consistent, well-paced, and no character is left aside. In this game, Yuuji is not in the limelight until the last third, which leaves room for the girls to show they have talents of their own. The backgrounds, dialogues and music are of the same great quality as the other two games. In my opinion, the ending was fine as it really brings closure to the whole arc while still leaving things open-ended.
[-]⠀There are only two things that bothered me a bit: the two incongruous CGI movies that felt out of place and the fact that some of the girls pull off ridiculous supermoves out of nowhere, just to give the story an action-oriented edge.
The weakest part of the trilogy, but it's just that the previous VNs were so great, so this one has a good overall level. There are a couple of idiotic moments, there are some boring and drawn-out moments. But it's worth reading.
Слабейшая часть трилогии, но это просто прошлые части были настолько отличными, так что и у этой общий уровень хорош. Есть парочка бредовых моментов, есть немного скучные и затянутые моменты. Но читать стоит.
I've actually completed the Unrated Version of this game. Grisaia no Rakuen is pretty much the True Route of Kajitsu, a fitting conclusion to the series. I like this just as much, or maybe even more than the first game.
You can just paste the Unrated version over the steam folder to play it on steam.
After finding "The Fruit of Grisaia" to be more than a tad underwhelming, I was at a loss as to whether or not I should continue with the franchise. Eventually, seeing how I'd already read the majority of the content, I decided to see it out & play through both Labyrinth & Eden.
Labyrinth, for me, is the highlight of the trilogy, with its focus on the more interesting characters in the story being the highlight of the main route. The ending of the main route also sets up the final game of the trilogy very nicely indeed, and so, we're onto Eden...
Eden, like Fruit, has a SERIOUS issue getting emotional value out of what should be really impactful scenes. I hate to draw comparisons to other story-driven games/mediums, but how much impact can a certain event have if it's been telegraphed so blatantly for hours beforehand? I'm referring primarily to the return of Kazuki. Ever since the first game, it was hinted that she was still alive, and the second game even had her featuring in the opening animated sequence. Even if none of this serves as concrete evidence for her return, it surely builds up expectations, so when she does return in Eden, it's like... Well, duh, of course she's coming back. This is far from the only instance of it happening in the trilogy, but it is, by far, the most egregious. On the other hand, the writing is still consistently funny, & the scenarios the cast find themselves in continue to be as outrageous as ever.
Plenty of new songs added to the previous selection make for a fresher feeling soundtrack than Labyrinth, but there's not many stand outs among them. The level of art, as you'd expect, is as consistent as ever, & nothing ever felt out of place during my time finishing this trilogy. Sadly, however, the game still has a terrible auto-mode, which is frustrating to the extent where I found myself actually skipping some character VA's once I'd read the dialogue.
My thoughts on Eden as a whole are pretty middling-good. If you've come this far in the franchise, it's worth seeing it out to its (obvious) conclusion. It doesn't offer much in the way of surprise or emotional impact, but it is as funny as both of its predecessors, & just as ridiculous to boot. I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic/impactful to make me realise what exactly it is I seem to be missing when it comes to the hype for this series, but sadly, I couldn't find it.
WRITING CONTAINS SPOILERS OF PREVIOUS 2 GAMES
Third installment to Grisaia series and the final one completing this story. Kazami Yuiji is facing his past. Last time we've got a wide look on it, now we see consequences of his actions. It's also a new situation for all the Mihama girls making their way into life. A little bit of shame that there are almost no choices through the game. As a result many would say that the Fruit of Grisaia was superior in branching routes and making them interesting to uncover one by one.
Eden of Grisaia has one crispy action packed story line and separate +18 fun extras if we get a patch. It's much in style of previous game Labirynth of Grisaia but this time they picked up pace and sucked me in for hours. I thought at some point that this could've been some Call of Duty narrations. Pursuits and weaponry fights are great they know how to describe action scenes. Just imagine a World global conflict including USA, Japan and terrorists everyone is out there for sly reasons.
It was surprising that story still managed to capture the light mood and good jokes meanwhile collecting almost all people from previous games. I don't think that anyone will be unpleased with overall result. Mihama girls are at their top but so is JB, Millie and others. It is pleasant to watch them and few new characters getting along together. It is just that they don't get as much screen time even without our MC Yuiji for most part. I've to admit ending was rather silly and let me just write that of with silence. I still regret that it's over this series were incredibly good so memorable even with notable flaws.
"If paradise doesn't exist, we just have to make our own. "
Final sequence of the Grisaia series, Grisaia no Rakuen, is the shortest one in term of length of all three sequences but packed with more exciting content than any of them. Since this is the final story they will be telling, every questions readers had will be answered, every gap of mystery will be filled. The way they forcefully merge all heroine routes into one is somewhat unique but confusing in term of timeline at the same time. Reading this make me feel like watching a intense action movie. Once you get into the thrilling part, it becomes hard just to make a save and leave it there. Unlike other sequences, Grisaia no Rakuen is more concentrated at one story instead of branching into routes determining who's ending is more satisfactory. They have one last story to tell and they nail it. Content excitment won't get you bored in this one. Speaking of the unrated version comparsion, personally, I don't think it is much more than necessary to have. Eden after story is a little bit redundant at the end. Basic storyline presents an excellent details of what you desire to know anyway. You will finally be able to understand everything in the story and have the ability to connect all of them.
The only thing left is probably the emptiness we might share after finishing this amazing work of VN, this is exactly like how will you know you just finish an awesome book/game becasue there is nothing more to see.
9/10
I still believe sachi's story is the best. (In term of happy ending anyway)
The Eden Of Grisaia,
The last chapter to the Grisaia series which started with Kaijitsu, it gave a perfect ending to this amazing series. With an amazing set of CG and an even more in-depth story than the rest of the series. It is obvious how much time and effort went into perfecting this game. Just being able to enjoy it makes me elated. A must play for anyone who had the time to venture through the masterpiece that sparked the whole series, Grisaia no Kaijitsu. And even for those who watched the Anime (With its near perfect ending), i would still recommend this game. Since nothing beats the original!
This is the final chapter of the original Grisaia series. I must admit, I am torn by this. I mean it is an interesting story, wraps up the entire tale well... but I still miss the original's endings with the individual heroines. This one... well, I have a feeling it ends in a harem... and possibly includes a blood relative to boot.
The prologue is also wonderful, though you have to finish the main tale to unlock it.
Also... I have heard there is a good chunk missing from this game, that will only likely be available when the uncensored edition comes out. Take that as you will.
This translation of the game has the same content as Japanese Vita version of the game.
Meaning that it DOES NOT feature the Epilogue content or extra scenarios.
While the extra scenarious would clearly not be in a toned down version of the game, I do not understand why the epilogue content was cut from the game, and why its exclusion is not mentioned on the store page.
However, other than this confusion the game is wonderful, providing an immense amount of story and a very good pacing. Sekai Project continues to making impressive translations, with clear quality and work put into it. If your already at the point of looking at the third installment in a series you probably don't need much other than a statement that this isn't broken, but this is still a showing of what makes the Grisaia series great. However if the epilogue content and extras matter to you, you should probably wait until the full release.
Eh its alright. Found it kinda annoying that you got forced into a somewhat unrealistic harem ending. kinda prefered the individual endings from fruit and labyrinth tbh. The meat of the story was pretty fun though so I guess frontwing deserves some credit. Also it was hella short compared to the previous entries so have that take that into account as well.
TL;DR : Not bad, but not as amazing as the first game.
The third game in the Grisaia trilogy that concludes the story of Kazami Yuuji and the five girls from Mihama Aademy: Yumiko, Amane, Michiru, Makina, and Sachi. Will Eden be able to live up to the high standards set by the first two games, Fruit and Labyrinth? It obviously depends upon personal tastes, but I would have to say... yes.
Eden picks up immediately after the end of Labyrinth's main storyline, "The Cocoon of Caprice" with its own main storyline, "The Seed of Blanc Aile". Obviously you should not even go near this if you haven't finished the first two games unless you want to be confused and/or massively spoiled. What non-spoilery stuff I can say about Eden's main storyline is that the stakes have been raised considerably. For some, who were in this for the sometimes silly, sometimes serious school drama that Fruit was, Eden might not be what they initially signed on for. But having built up to this dramatic climax over the course of the previous two games... I think it works out well. It certainly concludes everything decisively and in a satisfying way, which is really all you can ask for.
Despite the much more action-oriented story, the silly that can be found throughout the Grisaia series is still very much present in Eden as well. All the guns, explosions, and battles don't change the fact that amidst all of that are characters like Michiru, Sachi, or the "new" character Thanatos - all of whom provide plenty of comedic moments. The cast we have come to know over the past games are all present and remain as enjoyable and interesting as ever. Their interactions and development are what make Eden, and the Grisaia series in general, the adventure that it is.
Oddly, once you have finished the tense drama that is Eden's main storyline "The Seed of Blanc Aile", you actually are not quite done with the game. There is also a "Prologue" storyline told from Yumiko's perspective that tells the story of how the five girls of Mihama Academy met and interacted prior to Yuuji transferring into the school (aka, the first game). After the high-stakes of the main story, this prologue is a return to the sort of story that we started the trilogy with: quirky shenanigans with a small but memorable cast of characters. I had heard that there was also a storyline that took place after the end of Eden's main story, but apparently that either was not true or it got cut from this Steam release. Oh well.
Anyway, you shouldn't even play this game unless you have played the first two games in the Grisaia trilogy already. And if you have... chances are you already know whether or not you would want to play Eden as well.
TL;DR... this whole trilogy is nommers. One of the best VN's I have played in quite a while. :3
Probably the most consistent entry in the trilogy as far as story and writing quality goes. Maybe your favorite scene in the series won't be here, but you'll be hard pressed to find one you didn't like which is a good change from how hit or miss some of the story routes could be in part 1.
This entry has yet another excellent translation which keeps the voice of characters and the spirit of what they mean alive while not sacrificing any readability for English speakers.
Basically, if you've read this far, it's just as good as you'd expect and the devs aren't pulling a fast one on you. It is kind-of a bummer that the all-ages version goes as far as to cut some of the jokes though, so I would slightly prefer the Unrated Version over this one.
Finally, I got to conclude the trilogy that is the main stories of the Grisaia series. And boy, was it a ride.
To understand the series, you have to, obviously, start at the beginning; the Fruit of Grisaia (FoG) and take it from there. Yes, the characters are tropés at first (and stay as such, largely, through all three games), but as soon as you get under the skin of each of the main five girls, you quickly realise that the character writing (as in how the characters are "created") is at a really high level of quality. So high that you start to feel WITH the characters, you groan at Michiru, you sigh with Yumiko or you look at Sachi's twisted principes from the perspective of the potential victims. Even though Yuuji is the protagonist in FoG, you don't really get that much under HIS skin, it is very heavily hinted at that his story, before coming to Mihama Academy, is cause for interest. The classic "harem"-tropé where you don't really know a whole lot about the main character (the "you" in the narrative) is thus in place.
However, Yuuji remains largely untouched in FoG. FoG also provided ten possible endings, which until Labyrinth of Grisaia (LoG) were impossible tell what was cannon and what wasn't. LoG picks off at a slightly odd point; where NONE of the endings are cannon, but all of them (the "good endings" for each girl) have mounts of truth to them. LoG focuses on Yuuji's story, and provides the insight into his mind and sight, also because, as we follow his story, so do the girls he live with at Mihama Academy. LoG also gives a very detailed look into the life of Asako; the first person other than his sister, that Yuuji loves (or even likes), which was very heavily mentioned in FoG in pretty much every single flashback from Yuuji's perspective, so it's really nice to get that information. LoG also provides five AFTER stories, which does the same as the "main" story of LoG; takes of from a point where none of the FoG endings where truth, but still had grains of cannon lore. These stories tell, what I guess, WOULD have been cannon, had Yuuji actually chosen anyone in FoG (you "choose" for him, but as of LoG, it's clear that it is not a choice he'd make on his own). LoG also provides a large amount of small extra stories, typically funny skits and shorts that may/may not have been intended as part of the story, but found unfit when it was put together. Kind of like the bloopers to a Jackie Chan movie. LoG's main story ended abruptly on a cliffhanger, so it was natural for me, that when the final main story branch, Eden of Grisaia (EoG), was published, I was quick to get it.
EoG provides a closure, and it does so with gusto and bravour. Even though shorter than both FoG and LoG (main story), it is the one with most action, often leaving you at the edge of your seat, picking many of the problems from LoG up and dealing with them. However, it also gives Yuuji much more feeling as this gives something that surprises even our all's male tsundere agent. As LoG's main story did not have choices, and FoG gave me roughly 30 HOURS of reading before the first choice, I was geniuely surprised when EoG threw not one but TWO choices in my face. It's an amazing conclusion to this massive triology, that I ended up spending +100 hours in. +100 hours VERY well spent, I might add. EoG also added a prequel; how DID the girls at Mihama Academy meet, what was the school like before Yuuji's arrival in FoG? An amazing little story that fills surprisingly many holes.
If I were to pin the stories, FoG, LoG and EoG up against each other, which I find kind of silly as they really are one long story altogether, I would say that.
Fruit of Grisaia: 9.5/10
Labyrinth of Grisaia: 7/10
Eden of Grisaia: 9/10
My reasoning for this score is that Fruit of Grisaia had so much more "meat" to it's story, it tooks it's time describing details in environments, in characters, in the mood. Especially in Labyrinth, the story felt a bit rushed at times. The fact that it also "denies" the endings of FoG also is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow (though I'll admit it works much better for triology as a whole). Eden of Grisaia is very close to reaching Fruit of Grisaia's level, the action filled adventure is much more intense than Fruit of Grisaia is, and even though it keeps a steady pace in it's story-telling throughout it's entire story, it is still coming up a little short, simply due to it's length.
But I'd actually like for you to ignore the scores for each of them separately, and instead take the triology as a whole, thus I will score it as a whole story.
The Grisaia Series: 10/10
I've already explained pretty much my stance and how much I love this universe and in particular, the characters, so there really is no need for further explanations. If you are into VNs (as I am), The Grisaia Series is excellent in terms of art and Voice Acting, but especially the character writing and the overall writing is amazing. Even if you DON'T fancy VNs, I would still recommend this series to you; it IS a bit heavy to get started with, but pays off in the end.
A great end to an amazing trilogy, to be honest i experienced so many emotions down the paths in the first installment, but by the third i was left in shock at times and by the end i was satisfied that everything workd out in the end and that i was blessed with an ending that made me smile. Out of all the characters however, my one favourite would have to be our lovably sh***y maid Sachi, her arcs in all the installments (side arcs included) caused the most emotion in me, from laughing to facepalming to even tears. So, thank you to all parties involved in making this series an unforgettably amazing one, i don't think i'll ever find a visual novel that will even be a millionth as amazing as this one has been.
Excellent Conclusion to the Grisaia trilogy. This VN follows very similar to the anime but is more detailed and has better explanations of events.
My only real gripe is that only the 18+ version gets this scene of Michiru and the rest https://www.dropbox.com/s/k891xnv3nfv5neh/0469.jpg?dl=0 which is very slightly NSFW but can easily be made SFW. It's extremely hilarious and demonstrates more about the girls feelings and concludes the true end.
But I guess we'll just have to wait for it.
But overall still a good game to one of my favorite series. But unless you're impatient like me wait and buy from denpasoft.
This is the final part of the Grisaia trilogy. If you haven't read the previous games, you should not buy this (yet). Start with “The Fruit of Grisaia”.
The conclusion of the trilogy manages to maintain the quality of the previous two parts. The UI is the same, the writing is still exceptionally good, there are plenty CGs, which are all of the quality you can expect from a Grisaia game, and the selection of background music was expanded by some great new tracks.
Basically, what I want to say is: If you have played the first two parts of the trilogy, you already know what you get.
The story continues where the main arc from “The Labyrinth of Grisaia” left off. There is one oddity: It seems that in this story's timeline, every of the five routes somehow happened…? This might be jarring for some people, but I had no problems with it. If the story's cohesiveness is important for you, you can just assume that the five routes happened sequentially in this story's timeline, just like in the anime.
The Steam version is censored, as was the rest of the trilogy. The unrated version will probably be available for purchase at denpasoft.com in a few months.
Update: I finished the game within 27 hours – 20 hours for the main story and 7 hours for the prologue, that is unlocked after finishing the main story and shows Amane, Michiru, Makina and Sachi enrolling at Mihama Academy. Fast readers might complete the VN in half the time.
The main story in this game feels a bit like an action movie. The plot is not brilliant, but entertaining. Towards the end are some action-packed scenes. However, this game contains less Yuuji than the first two parts of the trilogy. The story follows mostly the five girls.
I enjoyed the conclusion of the trilogy and recommend it to everyone who played the first two parts; just be aware of the shorter game length, and only buy it from Steam if you don't care about the (minor) loss of content due to the censorship.
