Just reading the intro story by force was boring enough. I got bored before I started playing. It was slow and painful. If you are 11 years old and can read with snail like speeds, this is for you.

TLDR: MSPaint homebrew assets, home recorded guitar tracks, and stock assets. Immature caricatural juvenile good and evil characters. Difficulty spikes.
This amateur night RPGmaker title thinks of itself as art which is rather insulting. All that does is gives the creator license to indulge in long, uninteresting dialogues about family members talking about sticking up for each other and some evil guy in armor treating them badly. The backdrop story is painted in very lazy broad strokes of... evil draining color from the world, young hero that wield the elements comes to save the day. The game uses RPGMaker emotes quite a bit to liven up the cutscenes but given the very tiny variety of such emotes (basically boiling down to the excalamation point and sound effect emote) it loses impact very quickly. The cutscenes often unfold at a snail's pace with extremely sluggish animation work that strains the patience.
There are a few ideas here and there such as the use of multiple protag sprites as the story progresses which arkons back to the very first FF game but altogether this is the kind of game you would expect to see for free hosted on some website, and still not bother downloading because it would be a waste of time. To have it sit in your steam library, cluttering your UI with the icon and keeping the data saved on your HDD is far from worth it.
Once you get past the on-rails intial chapter and are allowed to free roam you will likely run into the forest next to town. In my case I was tuck in combat with the escape option grayed out, getting pummeled by an unavoidable nymph (sprite blocks only path of progression) whom could only be killed with special ability. I did not have mana and using standard attack or guard did not seem to recuperate mana and I had no item to recover any leaving me doomed to die. Fairly glaring flaw.
It's easy to see that the creator of this game put all of their effort into making it. The story is personal, the art is hand done and the music is strong throughout. Despite all the personal effort pour into this game it fails to reach the goal that the creator likely had in mind while working on it.

The story is a slog and assumes the player knows more about the characters and world than they do leaving the initial crisis fall flat when tasked immediately to save the world. The charm of hand drawn art doesn't make up for the rough fidelity that becomes an eyesore before the end of the first act.

Dislikes the sound effects of ! , which appears way too often.

A long grind of exp and slow battles with long list of characters to deploy.
Game does not have a proper quest direction, feels like a maze,
frequently feeling lost, scouting for correct path as there are always many alternatives.
Requires attention to spot abnormal creatures in trees, items with blink and concealed chests in hidden paths or behind trees.
Way too much hidden paths throughout the game, basically every map need to bang into walls and trees just to see if theres a path.

Played it for about 40 minutes. The story seems very banal and the gameplay is not fun whatsoever. Might play it again when I'm bored just to see if it gets more interesting later on.
Interesting game but I have a mixed review. I like the RPGmaker games but if they are not your style, this one will drive you crazy. It is very long and programmer/writer has setup scenes that bend in on themselves. There are puzzles and many of them are good. Some are fiendish and some require the patience of JOB.
I let the computer run in the background while I do other tasks, so the total time is not indicative of my actual game playing. But even still I have put a lot of time into this game and I am now totally bogged because there is a mediocre guide and absolutely no support.
There is no where to go to get questions answered if you are stuck. And I found getting stuck was the only easy thing about the game.

Some interesting things are in the game but still it's boring RPG-maker bullshit without nice plot.
If you're a fan of old school RPG's I would highly recommend this game to you. RPG Maker games tend to get a bad rap, mostly for their low quality and lack of original resources. But this game suffers from none of these problems.
The sprites and tilesets are reminiscent of the old Final Fantasy games. And the art and monsters, (Though seeming drawn on MS Paint) are really colourful and well made.
The music too is all original and quite catchy.
The game play although at most times is very typical of RPG Maker, there are a few times the game uses it in ways I haven't seen before.
The game suffers a little in the dialogue at times, but overall the story is very enjoyable.
You can tell a lot of heart went into the making of this game, and I love that I get to play something I can tell someone else really loved making. It reminds me of the “game” I always wanted to make when I first got my copy of RPG Maker 2000 back in the day. All in all I really enjoyed this game, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good old RPG!
I'm only a couple of hours in but i'm really impressed so far. If you're a game snob, or any kind of snob, there is a good chance you will hate this, but you will be missing out. A lot of people are turned off by RPG maker games or games that aren't bright and shiny. I've judged based on appearance myself but something about this game intrigued me so I bought it. I'm really glad I did. It has an insanely original feel. If you can get over superficialities and are a hardcore fan of RPG's, please give this dude your money. It feels like the etsy of video games to me. It's incredibly obvious to me that there was a lot of work and heart put into this game. The story is true to to the feel of old school RPG's but feels fresh. The music seems to be written and recorded personally. I'm pretty stoked to hear guitar as opposed to your everyday digital video game music. The art done for the battle scenes scream originality and although it's odd at first to see something like that in an RPG, it's quickly endearing and if i'm being honest, pretty effing adorable. I'm truly excited to get deeper into the story and discover what's in store. Kudos to the developer. Seriously. Some may speak down on it for seeming crude or using RPG maker. Don't listen to them. Not everybody is a coding genius. This guy took what he had and put all of it and more into a labor of love that seeps originality into a genre that can be quite repetitive and tired. Again, give this dude your money.

I've never actually played a game made with RPG Maker. I am going to have to start checking out the better ones is this is the quality the best ones have. This is a very story driven game. I like the hand drawn look the characters have during battles. If you love those old SNES RPGs, this is a game well worth your time.
