If you're looking for a game to scratch that "Legend of Zelda" itch, on your Steam Deck, then Oceanhorn may be a great fit. The game ran flawlessly on my Steam Deck. Even the soundtrack has a Nintendo vibe. If you catch it on sale, and like Zelda games, I recommend giving Oceanhorn a try. Overall, I think it took me around 12.5 hours to complete the story.

I think the start of the game was boring but towards the middle it pick up real quick and at the end you want more. Great RPG. Was fun, 8/10 !

7/10 zelda clone. Boss fights arent great. Mind you any reason I spawn with half hearts after dying? So everytime I die I have to scrounge for hearts in pots that barely drop just to try the fight again. Nothing super unique in the game. Not really challenging either.

Otherwise its fun exploring and a decent game to play for the length it is. It shines in some ways while others dont. I think the world could have been more open/less linear and more exploring in any order.

The only bad thing of the games is that there is no Dlc :((

What i enjoyed the most in this game is the different challenges you get in each island you visit and the way you unlock islands, altho leveling-up is not as worth it as you would think ( playing the game without running away too much from enemies will get you to max level ).
it is the most simple retro Zelda-like you can get, which is something a lot of other games fail to do, so i have to give it that.
You will hate a very specific fish in this game tho, it will fry your brains out, literally lol

Best way I can describe this game is that it is clearly and heavily inspired by classic Zelda games.
This is a 3D Zelda-like that plays more like a 2D Zelda game.
(Watching the game trailer gives you a good idea of what I mean)
Suffice to say if you're a long time Zelda fan like myself then you will probably enjoy this game quite a bit.

This was a fun albeit pretty easy game, puzzles, bosses and general exploration isn't too difficult but there are a few collectables that are hidden pretty well and may give you the run around as they did me :)

Definitely recommend it, especially for fellow Zelda fans that are looking for similar experiences on Steam.

This was my childhood. I remember playing the game on my phone when I was only little. The only problem I had was that the game kept crashing (only 3 times it happened) and the character would move in different directions than how I actually move him. But by far, I recommend!!

Fun game. Holds up pretty well if you are into adventure games like Legend of Zelda and need a little fix or something to try out. Music does the job, graphics are an interesting art style and do the title just fine, story is ok there is some lore there you can chose to dive into or just take it at surface level. Gameplay and control is what you expect from an overhead adventure rpg. Took me 16 hrs to 100% and I did play around a good amount so that could have been cut down to maybe 10 or 12hrs. Great pickup if it is on sale and it seems interesting to you.

fun old school feeling game with light story. needs some work and the secqual does lots better.

In 2 words "Visually jarring".

There's something off with either the framerate, motion blur or camera movement. Something like that which makes it miserable to attempt to play. Turning off Vsync and antialiasing was no help, I even tried it on the Steamdeck and the same issue persisted.

It has a lot of issues and if you have played Nintendo's classic Zelda titles it doesn't actually compare in controls puzzles or bosses.

It does it's best at a lot but it's just a mid tier game which is somewhat enjoyable

Puzzles are just way too easy and Involve way too many block puzzles to be classified as good puzzles

Dungeons are just very easy
And the sea travel is a glorified loading screen
It's boring and adds nothing to the game for me in comparison to Zeldas or other open worlds

Finished the game. Super hidden gem for me. 100% reco especially for zelda fans out there! Will play the sequel next!

Highly recommended, hits all the right spots for a Zelda clone.

Can't use my full resolution without a massive blue bar taking up part of the screen. Extremely intrusive. Also has pretty severe fps limitations.

It has great graphics, a complex and rich storyline, NPCs who seem real, and an intuitive control system. The price is a bit steep for a fairly limited amount of gameplay ($15, compared to $8 for Fallout 4, for example) but otherwise a solid quest RPG.
