Scratches that itch of 'what if I wanted to play command and conquer but like, with gorilla-giraffe hybrids'.

There's actually zero good reason why an RTS game with mix and match units that combo parts together for different abilities, completely unique, gets left in the dust. No sequel, no remaster. We just keep getting spoonfed the same "modern" shit.

SOMEBODYS CHEATIN'

Fantastic game! If you don't mind 2003 graphics, it is a brilliant game with great mechanics. I played this back when I was a kid and I am an adult now, still love it. The DLCs people have made, make it extra fun and the maps people have designed make it more entertaining, especially when you have learnt all the original multiplayer maps like I have. I have played the campaign countless times and it is so much fun, really goddamn hard at parts [the multiple factory mission] and interesting characters. I really like the ink artwork for the lore cut-scenes and I enjoyed the storyline. It is a shame there was never a sequel as there was so much potential.

Despite being rather old it is probably one of if not my favourite real time strategy game! (To be fair as of writting this I have barely played any rts but who cares)

This is such a simple yet amazingly addictive game! I remember playing this years and years ago and having a blast, and it is still so much fun to play. It's fun to experiment with combining different animals to create a unique 9-unit army of impossible creatures and then battling the armies of other players. I also like that there are only two resources you need to gather. It makes it not so complicated so that you can focus on building your army and completing research. For such an amazing price, this game would definitely be one that I recommend! Give it a try! :)

Very fun game! I really recommend this game to Warhammer fans, and any strategy game fan! The whole reason i play this game is because Warhammer.

Very basic RTS with one unique feature but a well made classic.

This is very good game. (If you like spreadsheets as game.) I think it is a well made game for its time. It has workshop mods and has a creative story. I would give this game a try if i were you.

There are some visual bugs from time to time. Luckily nothing major. The game is still as fun as it was all those years back. The campaign is very well designed and quite engaging. Really wish we got Impossible Creatures 2 one day, where you can combine up to 4 creatures and have even more control over what is modified, but I doubt that will ever happen given the gaming climate. Who knows tho, one day maybe

My childhood's favorite game. Pretty simple, but unique and very fun.

I was thrilled when my mother bought me CD with Impossible Creatures. It felt so cool to combine different animals into amazing mutants. Even in 2024 this game can gift you an amazing gaming experience.

I played this back in the 90s, the nostalgia is so great. Is it super pretty no, but it's fun and a good RTS to start with.

It's been over a decade since I first started playing this game and I keep going back to it. The story line, characters, multiple creature creation options all contribute to why this game continues to keep my interest. I highly recommend it to anyone not focused on graphics but more on an interesting challenge.

I remember when my mom got me this game several years ago. I think I was 10-11 or something like that. She found it at Goodwill. I am 25 now and I love the game still.
