Great
Hard to argue with the cheap price.
You summon creeps as well as build defenses. You can alter which lanes your creeps travel.
It can be challenging. Levels turn into a case of needing to overrun your enemy down one lane before they overrun you in another.
It's a competent enough game, but It's quite strict. Having all your towers get smashed down by powerful waves of enemies is commonplace and you have to keep patching it up as best you can while you hope your lane can overwhelm the opponent. Kind of like Dota in that respect.
The game shoves some garbage dialogue at you but you can hit ESC whenever it pops up to skip it.
Didn't love this, but it's an interesting one that feels pretty unique on Steam, taking a lot of things from custom Warcraft 3 maps.

Oh My Gore! is an interesting take on Tower Defense mechanics. It's cheap as chips - even cheaper on sale (both prices are frankly a steal - for the amount of gameplay you're getting especially).
The gory pixel art works well with the overall narrative and comedic undertones - the writing is surprisingly funny in both in-game encyclopedia and dialogues in-between missions, I chuckled a few times for sure.
The game mechanic isn't purely reliant on defence, there's a focus on offensive play here too, which in most part causes the levels to change into proper battlegrounds with elf intestines and angelic broken wings lying all over the place in pools of blood.
Traps are your usual arsenal known already to genre connoisseurs - acid pools, pit of spikes, along with your towers which are nothing special to be honest, both in how they're designed and how they work - all of that is just serviceable - which is fine, certainly not bad.
For this price you can't really go wrong, especially if you like the genre. It's relatively easy to find a superior combination of towers that works for you, and cheese the game - but before you do that, you'll enjoy the hell out of tower defensing here, while you're getting to know the game - it's really fun.

The Rundown:
-Fun game similar to Kingdom Rush.
-*Pretty easy to get all achievements on.
-Short but sweet.
A tower defense game with cute sprites, hero powers, some rpg style level up trees and...well, towers. You have a home base to send troops out of, a hero to protect the base, and resources you naturally accumulate as the level goes on. You can't move your hero, and you also cant let them die, since in this game, your hero dying means game over. The story was... there. Not a bad story, just not a story I cared about. No spoilers, but it sits at around a 6/10 storywise. The game itself was pretty easy until the last 3rd of the game, where the AI just has an unlimited number of troops that keep getting stronger the longer the level goes on.
When you do have the stack of troops you need in order to finish a level it is very satisfying to watch a row of 50 skeletons march in and melt everything they touch, but getting there can take a while, and even then your 50 skeletons might get blown to smithereens by a few firebomb dwarfs.
* - I'm serious, the last 3 to 4 levels of this game ramp up the difficulty SIGNIFICANTLY. And I started out playing on hard. I went from mindlessly sending troops in, while never (or rarely) building towers to having to learn the ins-and-outs of the whole game. And the last level basically takes all your powers aways, and forces you to beat the last map with the tutorial character. I learned my troops weaknesses, ranges, attack stats, and synergies with tower buffs and hero powers, just for the last level. THE LAST STRETCH OF THIS GAME FOR ACHIEVEMENTS IS WAY HARDER THAN THE REST OF THE GAME.
Oh My Gore! is a tower defense game with some nice quirks but pretty shallow gameplay.
PROS:
+ Could be fun for a while if you never played a tower defense game before.
CONS:
- Mediocrity. Looks too unpolished. Art is mediocre. Humor is mediocre. Gameplay is mediocre. Looping music is mediocre. Everything about is mediocre at best. Total borefest.
2/10 If you never played a tower defense game before (which is pretty unlikely) you might give it a try, otherwise stay away. Nothing new here, its a total borefest.

Not a bad game.
Slightly reminiscent of Dungeon Lords game.
Cheerful and fun until one moment.
Pretty dumb ending.
There are still many bugs and balancing.
And a lot of things can be improved.
But it's still not bad.
Big TD lover. This scratches that itch. My only gripe is the level editor saying "coming soon"
I doubt that since it came out in 2016 which sucks!
Dev, if your not going to complete the game at least update it and get rid of that bit so I don't feel like I am losing out on content.
To gamers, must buy for a TD game and cheap too. Some recent TD games are taking the micky with some of these prices.
fun td game, has a war map with easy/normal/hard clearings for each location and a few upgrades that you can buy that stay around so you get to "level up" and such
a decent variety of magic and a tower/troops
