Blood Bowl 2’s new graphics engine and high-flying realization makes for a faithful portrayal of the fury and intensity of classic Blood Bowl matches. The solo game mode will have you lead the famous Reikland Reavers. Former star team of Blood Bowl you are tasked with bringing them back to glory, following a full story campaign supported by the hilarious commentators Jim & Bob from Cabalvision. This game scratches one specific and hard to find itch - League play with character progression. You and X friends can play round robin or knockout tournaments with AI factions added, where your individual squad characters all level up individually, and also progress as a team - they develop skills, wounds or even get beaten to death.
It really generates a story for the individual players and the league itself, and lets you have your own community, which is something fading in modern gaming.
The AI does unfortunately stop presenting a threat after a few dozen hours of play,
When this game is at its peak, it's the best at what it does - which is a fun, chance mitigation wargame.
I have a moderately sized appendage and considering I'm so humble, this game is quite splendid if I do say so.

You need to be OK with some frustration. There's a lot of dice involved and one of the main challenges of mastering this game is learning and understanding in what order you want to do certain things.

Football with dice (7/10)
Its a funny game where you enjoy improving your team for the bloodiest ball possible hahaha
Campaign adds the various rules as you go, so the first couple of campaign games seem a bit off. But after you get to about the 4th game or so, things get pretty normal compared to what I'm used to.
Foot Ball with bringing the Pain factor!!
I love this game, it is football but its more like an arena, you have hex's and player abilities to help you get to the other side and tackle them. The UI is just great on how they made this game.I do not know why people are trashing this game (if they do).

This game is beyond aggravating. The stupid "turnover" mechanic to the game makes it impossible to enjoy. Your player trips during a move, turnover. You lose a dice roll, turnover. Your player fails to pick up a ball when there are no opponents around, turnover. It's stupid. I wanted to enjoy this game, but it's impossible. The dice rolls in this game are never in your favor. If you try to move your player when you're near an opponent, they'll trip you every time, and it'll be a turnover. I spent most of my time trying to make one move, getting a turnover, then watching the opponent move wherever the hell they wanted to. Unfortunately I'm beyond the time span of being able to refund this game, but take my advise...if you're thinking of buying this game, just pull a twenty dollar bill out of your wallet and burn it. At least that'll provided you with a few seconds of warmth,
Blood Bowl is such a weird spinoff for a franchise, but it does work and the game is surprisingly fun.

Terrible. The difficulty setting do nothing because the RNG is designed to fuck you every time.
Rng Makes it impossible to enjoy. You never get the benefit of the doubt ever. What will go wrong always will every time. You will never catch a break. Go smash your head into a wall for a better experience.

I say yes but in reality it's neutral.
Blood Bowl has this little place in my heart as something I get randomly reminded of and then say oh yeah that game I should play it again. I then proceed to download it and play it for an hour before realizing why I quit in the first place. I've never played any game whether it was dnd or tabletop blood bowl or warhammer that has given me such shit dice rolls constant ones and skulls opponents roll two red dice against my big guy and boom my selections only hurt my troll. I wish I could say there was a team that could make the game better to play but even the dwarfs which feel like the easiest don't save me from terrible rolls. The difficulty in the settings doesn't do anything as far as I'm concerned.
in general I tend to play this game for like an hour or two once ever other month and normally quit once I realize how much it makes me frustrated.
Blood bowl 2 is one of if not the best adaptation of a wargame to video game form of all time encapsulating the bloodbowl 2016 ruleset to a T. If you have played the miniature game IRL like I have or just want to krump some 'eads for nuffle this is the place to start even if the rules are outdated anymroe (it dosent hurt that it goes on sale for like a buck too).
Much superior to its abomination of a sequel. It's Blood Bowl, and it's the best PC version of it out there. Blood Bowl 3, by comparison, is utter garbage and should be avoided like Nurgle's Rot. The AI in this game is still far from competent, but at least it's a way to scratch the proverbial itch if actually playing the boardgame is unavailable.

Turn base rpg strategy sports game does not have a lot of titles in its corner, two of the others being in this series.
Is it as good as or cheap as BB1 chaos edition? No. Does it have more teams or any gameplay improvements? No.
Is it as much of a shameless cash grab as number 3? Not by a mile.
If you're new to Blood Bowl this one is the prettiest. Get it on sale and then buy BB1 Chaos edition if you enjoyed this.

Better than BB3. Has almost everything you need. Graphics are great. Gameplay solid.

Love it, I'm happy to find that Blood Bowl II actually works as intended on PC. On Xbox there's a glitch that halts any progress in leagues by loses saved data every time you log off. Fun, strategy that involves mitigating risk and laughing at your opponents misfortune only to have them chuckling moments later.
Can't throw with a thrower, cant catch with the catcher and you get knocked down when you overpower an enemy(SURROUNDING THEM). Cant trip enemies but you will be tripped, cant pick up the ball. Ties lose you a game no overtime, even though you completed the challenge. Percentages don't mean shit, the game does what it wants when it wants.
Problem to launch game. I dont recommend to buy it.

An incredible adaptation of the previous edition of Blood Bowl, it's great and super fun, just be read to scream at this game for ages.
i recommend playing this over Blood Bowl 3 any day
