This is a Master Piece of game thats every body must play!
A really unique RTS experience marred by some technical glitches.
Its a hard recommendation due to some of the flaws, but there is a gem of a game here to explore if you are interested in RTS space sims.
this game simply does not launch for me anymore, after playing for about 15 minutes i wasn't too thrill about what the game has to offer either but mainly leaving a bad review since you might not even be able to play this game.
the game is a fairly normal RTS game set in space but the camera angles are quite wonky and the sensitive camera adjustment with your right mouse button does not help either, and it is quite easy to lose track of ships or objective as it can be quite unclear at times where you are supposed to go without proper indicators in this very open RTS space.
the game doesn't count play time properly so i had to open and crash it about 50 times before i got enough play time from the start screen to make this review.
i did quite enjoy the early 2000's graphics and animations despite having to play in a boxy view, the story also seemed interesting though i was only able to catch a glimpse of it.
most of the positive reviews seem to have played the game originally on disk back in 2002 but in modern day there are much better choices for games that play better and don't crash, so i would not recommend this even on a steep sale.
So bad
It is so bad, and that's not a "because it is old" comment, it just is, movement impossible, visibility non existent. just all round not enjoyable.
Played this many years ago and I remember it being a good game (although maybe only nostalgia goggles now), but it doesn't work at all well on modern OS. Tried GOG version and it has the same issues. Crash, crash, crash.
