About the Game
Things have gone wild at the Cartown Zoo!Today's the grand opening of the Cartown Zoo, and there's still so much to do: zoo chow is running low, and all the baby animals are missing. Putt-Putt® and Pep need your child's help to reunite the little ones with their parents before Outback Al can open the gates. Along the way, they'll swing across alligator-infested rivers, play ice hockey with a polar bear, build a bridge out of icebergs, bop with dancing penguins, and enjoy other adventures. This zoo is full of loyal friends and captivating challenges that are sure to run wild through your child's imagination.
- Take breaks from the action to play games, sing songs, paint Putt-Putt® or learn about the animals you find in the zoo.
- Click Points reveal hundreds and hundreds of hidden surprises.
- Use Putt-Putt's® special camera to take picture of your favorite zoo animals and print them out.
- Out of time? You can save the game and finish it later.

Very fun game made me smile.
This is a very old game but still very attractive for young children. I was not able to 'SAVE' and 'LOAD' the game progression. The F5 key has the 'SAVE' and 'LOAD' keys greyed out ? The game's original way to save and load was the 's' key and the 'l' key. They also do not work ! I run this game in the 'DUTCH' language for my grandson. Finally I found the right keys ! To save in the 'DUTCH' version, use the 'b' key (Bewaar) to SAVE and use the 'r' key (Roep) to LOAD your progression. Not very obvious ... Hope this info helps.
This zoo seems really dangerous

Very good for kids starting from age 5 or for nostalgic players! This classic point-and-click adventure is the perfect beginner game for young children, offering a simple and engaging experience. Nice hint of nostalgia. I love that nothing was changed, but now you don't need the original CD/DVD game to play. I remember playing this game so much as a kid, so I am glad I can just go to Steam and revisit those memories. I only wish - not related to this game, but the creators of a different sort of simple point-and-click kids' game - that the creators of Blue's Clues: Blue's Birthday Adventure did a similar port to Steam. The Blue's Clues game I am referencing had 2 disc's for different experiences; a Red disc about what Blue wants to do at her party and what Blue wants to play; and the Yellow disc about what she wants to give her guests and what Blue wants to eat at her party. Sadly not every kids' CD/DVD game from the 2000's to 2010's has done a port, so with this franchise, I am very glad that they decided to allow the game to live on, along with other Putt-Putt games and with games of the same franchise, like with Freddi Fish! I do recommend this game for any kids or people wanting to revisit childhood memories.

I love the game, but hate this service. It takes forever for it to load straight from my computer and even longer when i try to go through STEAM itself. Sometimes it won't load from anywhere. A waste of money.
Also, I can't use another game on another computer at the same time. i purchased this for my preschool class and I can only have one child at a time play, which is a bummer because we LOVE Putt Putt.
Tells a story
An artstyle that still holds up fantastically, the gameplay is still simple and easy to understand aswell as having alot of moments to show off its humour even during the dark moments which makes this game still so enjoyable even after all these years as it's basically one of its kind.
