Love these games, it is like a diablo-lite, perfect for new players to enter the genre of top down hack n slash rpgs!
Basically the same as the first FATE, but worse. Somehow they thought that having double dungeons would equal double the fun. Some cool looking new enemies, but they behave exactly the same. Horrible music, I've actually had to mute it to enjoy the game a little better. Much buggier too. Muting sound just doesn't work more than half the time. Often the screen will just glitch depending on the camera angle. And some bosses will heal themselves infinitely (and yourself, apparently?!) so you can never complete some quests. And the dungeon generation is also a lot worse, somehow. Often they're tiny single rooms and often they're nothing but huge tunnels that all have dead ends.
5/10 A big step backwards in the franchise. Still fundamentally a FATE game though, so if you're desperate to play more I suppose it's worth checking out.
a very well made older game the fate games are my #1 favorite games of all time they may be simple to play but do get rather challenging the lower you go to the dungeons!!!!!

Basically the first game, but more. More enemies, more dungeon variety.
I've played this game on and off for many years love it
I recommend this game for the enjoyment of achievement hunting on a solid game. There are a few downsides if you want to know; New release coming out with better graphics, storage chest only on one of two worlds, and this seems like a port to me after noticing graphical glitches scattered throughout.
Ultimately, I had to collect the series when they were on sale. The Traitor Soul is better in all regard. Get that one or even the newest one instead if you are being frugal.
Used to play this back in the day and was so addicted, now i get on here and there just to kill some time not having to think too hard about the skills
