One of the best games I've ever played.
remembered this game from my teenage years and thought I'd hop back on. still such a great one. got the DLC that I never played back then and its like the sequel I never knew about, really timeless game
Controller Does Not Work even though this is a stated feature
Very difficult, but amusing.
I think it leaned too hard into the Oregon Trail theme in that it's near impossible to win, but it's definitely a fun experience for a few hours.
The art is good, the events are funny, but the RNG is downright unfair.
Similar to Death Road to Canada, I think there's only so much of this you can play before dropping it, but its priced reasonably for that. Definitely worth the $5 or less on sale, just for the effort that went into such a funny parody with so much love and attention to detail.
Exactly what you think it is. Very fun game, a beautiful tribute to the original.
If you enjoyed those Oregon Trail days in elementary school and also happen to love zombie movies and horror games, you'll have a blast with this one. Give it a shot please!

one of the first games i ever played on steam after portal- lost access to that old account thanks to middle school me being terrible at remembering passwords, but it's a fun little game. loved naming everyone after my friends.
Played it was to much was way to long, had fun.
Great game!
If you like 8-bit graphics and survival horror, this one is for you. The atmosphere is really well done for such a simple game. The only cons I can think of are:
1 - The bike gang mini game (way too easy and boring)
2 - Scavenging (gets boring and repetitive really quickly, which hurts the replayability since you'll need to scavenge a lot)
Other than that, there are lots of really good ideas well implemented in the game.

fun but can be repetitive after a while.
Fun game to kick back and relax. Similar gameplay to Death Road Canada. Has a lot of movie and character references from the genre. It is gritty but humorous. Just unlocked Ash Williams from Evil Dead series. Going to do my next run with this cult classic character
MORE punishing than even the original Oregon Trail! Now with more dysentery! And exploding car batteries. And popping tires!

A fun soundtrack, great classic visuals, some humour splattered in and that wonderful RNG. I played the original release but since the directors cut, a new ending sequence was added which gave the game some additional flair. A great pick up and put down game.

Good game i only beat it once so far
The controls to shoot are the worst I have ever seen.
Very original idea and fun old school look but sadly I didn't enjoyed it... may be if I insisted and tried a bit more I would finally get hooked but I'd be very surprised I'd give it another chance. But I'm not going to ask a refund cause I can see the passion and care the dev put in it and it deserve to be encouraged.
Frankly, boring. Every minute feels like several. Whilst they do some things well, like the retro look, feel and sound, it fails to make up for the dreary gameplay. You'll mostly just press buttons, and see people die randomly through no fault of your own. I've beat it once, and will likely never play it again. Side notes, people say it's a port of a mobile game, but it's was actually a browser game originally. It works perfectly fine with my Xbox controller, and achievements work for me.

A quirky take on the Oregon Trail and equally addicting. This consumed one miserable summer of mine. The variety of game play and story really made it enjoyable. It makes me wonder why they didn't make a sequel like the learning company did.
