- Players are able to name their teams, choose which hats they want their worms to wear, whether they wear glasses, have moustaches, what they say, which flag represents them, and even what gravestone they leave behind when they die.
- Many of the classic Worms™ weapons are present and correct, with the Holy Hand Grenade, Bazooka, Dynamite, Banana Bomb, Baseball Bat, Super Sheep and many more in your arsenal of destruction.
- There is also a sprinkling of even more crazy and surreal weapons too, such as Alien Abduction, Fatkins Strike, Flood, Inflatable Scouser, Old Woman, Starburst and Bovine Blitz with which to wage war on your enemies.
- Players are also able to construct their own weapons from a wide selection of components. These weapons are added to the players’ arsenals and remain secret until deployed, giving opponents a nasty shock.
- In-game voice-chat so you can cheer on team mates or indeed win the battle against opponents verbally!
- Deform everything in real-time.
- This tracks every action a player makes when attacking, whilst at the same time allowing the player to retreat and not miss a single moment of the glorious action.
- New camera enhancements make it easier to follow the action; optimized AI means more intelligent enemies, and the addition of speech and lip-synching to the single-player missions makes for even more cinematic fun!

Worms Ultimate Mayhem is a remake of the notorious 3D "Worms". ... Still, Worms 3D and Mayhem were ruined not so much by the transition to the third dimension, but by the not very high-quality execution. It consists of sixty single-missions, a multiplayer mode designed for four players, twelve graphic themes and thirty-eight types of weapons.
Result: Why not? Although fans, it seems, were not delighted with this.

Bad camera (It's separate from the worm and keeps resetting to invert the X axis every time I load in. It didn't change the option, just the axis in game)
Bad import of Worms 3D's levels
Bad graphics (Compared to the original Worms Mayhem)
Bad cutscenes (The worms are meant to do certain animations, like in the the original Worms Mayhem, but they just stay neutral)
Bad paid DLC and in game advertising practice (Have you bought Alien Breed TM yet!?)
Bad level design (Not all the time, but a shocking amount of levels just are not fun, and I'd say even for the time)
Good music though...... Half of which wasn't imported from the original Worms Mayhem.
So yah, if you have to play a 3D Worms game, it works, I guess, but it is objectively a bad port. Watch
Big Yellow's channel for more info on this game. They helped me not feel crazy when analyzing this.

This game is very nostalgic from all the way back to 2011, I highly recommend you playing this, if you are a fan of nostalgia.

I love this game so much. Specially since it's not just entertaining for adults but for kids too. It kinda ticks your competitive side a little. It takes me back to my youth when I used to play with my cousins in the same computer.

- tarda 1 minuto en launchear por algún motivo
- crashea cuando completás misiones de la historia
- zarpado lag para jugar con los panas

The screen resolution is always messed up, can't launch without the window being bigger than my screen.
Most underrated Worms. I love recalling childhood memories of playing this game with my buddies. Controls have gotten pretty clunky and the online multiplayer is non-existent, it's still possible to play co-op / LAN though. If you don't have a dedicated friend group to play than you should rather skip this one. (9/10)

Honestly after revisiting this game from my childhood I can all heartdly say that... it is a waste of time and that you shouldn't buy this. what'd u expect?? nobody is online to play the game has aged poorly in all aspects and even alone it is horrible to play so don't waste your money on this it should now be free instead
Fun game, but bad port, the controls are a tad jank and the gameplay is definitely dated, though for nostalgia purposes it is serviceable.
banger of a 3D take on an old classic
I love the game but there are currently some issues with the mouse movement that need to be addressed. It worked perfect on Windows 7 but Win 10 and 11 have major mouse jitter problems. Really wish team 17 would get a patch out because this is one of my favorite games they ever made.

One of the best games ever!
El nombre de "Ultimate" le queda un poco grande dado a que no es la version definitiva del 4 ni del 3D. Cosas como las voces en distintos idiomas, armas y mapas del 3D no estan, dado a que solo toman en cuenta al 4 Mayhem de base.
El juego aun asi con estos temas sigue siendo bastante bueno, y es recomendable para jugar con amigos. Lamentablemente esta version no se mantiene bien en PCs mas modernas, cosas como las opciones graficas estan en un menu aparte antes de que el juego se inicie, no se puede hacer Alt+Tab en Windows si tenes el juego en pantalla completa (si sos usuario de Linux, este problema no te afecta porque tanto Proton y el gestor de ventanas previenen que se rompa el juego). Tambien, el puntero en el menu se mueve de forma algo erratica, es controlable, pero no es para nada fluido.
favorite from the worms franchise <3 probably because of the nostalgia, but still - i love armaggedon, but i love ultimate mayhem much much more. Nice campain, actually challenging to beat it 100% (im talking about the time bonuses), replayable. I wish people still played it so i could play with randoms. But even without that - i love playing local with my sibings just like we did so long ago. Greatly reccomend <33
I love this game but I cannot recommend it. There is a known bug where the users mouse is stuttering. My mouse works for like a second before not moving for like three seconds. If you want to enjoy this product you need to get a unofficial patch from github. I tried to go to the link someone provided just to see it doesn't exist. I'll leave my comments on if anyone has a work around this mouse movement issue.
If you want a worms game that works I'd highly suggest just getting worms revolution as I can confirm the game does work with mouse and keyboard as well as with controller, as an added bonus multiplayer is working!
the best worms game
This is one of my most beloved games from childhood, and i'm sad to see that this release is so bad. It has mouse shaking/stutter problem (this resolved it for me - https://github.com/ermaccer/Worms4UHD.MouseFix) and delay in multiplayer is really bad. The player whose turn it is makes their move, and the rest will see those actions 4-5 seconds later. I guess this isn't that bad if you play with randoms (which you won't find) but if you play with friends on Discord it really ruins the experience. If you want to play solo, go for it.
missing all my bazooka shots now in fully fleshed 3 dimensional graphics on new optimized 3 dimensional battlegrounds. Also this game has an exploding old lady. 10/10

You are not Hogs of war, but you are ok
Fun, and supports 4k natively. Just make sure to set windows scaling to 100, no more than that. 3D makes the game a bit more complicated but just as fun!
This game is amazing. Not only for my personal nostalgia but it really is funny. I like that you still can play multiplayer with your friends.
I was going to say i don't recommend it because of all the problems the game has with fullscreen issues, modern resolution issues, mouse lag and so on. But for 13 euro and 10 minutes of your time you can fix all the issues and game on like never before.
Recommend.
steam says i only have 11 hours on this but I have spent more time playing this (and armageddon) in the 360 days than i'd like to admit. worms in 3d is weird and all but god DAMN this game is a blast to play through especially with the amount of stuff you can mess around with
shame there's no actual LAN mode though
