I do not recommend anyone buy this game
First of all, the game has awful physics, not mentioning that cars do not feel like cars at all, it's some sort of carts that can't properly turn.
Secondly, car sounds are ridiculously loud when played in 3rd person but cannot be heard on bumper camera.
The damage meter here probably the most strange thing to analyze.
You bump into a guy in full speed?
He takes 5% damage.
You slightly touch him, he still takes 3-5% damage. there's no speed-damage mechanics.
I did try to play it, but it's just not pleasant enough to try to. So... yeah that's it.
It's just bad, not the whole franchise but this particular game.

Worst of the series so far. It's just frantic to the point where it's not fun anymore. Handling is worse, massive rubberbanding, no upgrading cars and no career mode anymore so there's really no progression or reason to keep playing. There's more race modes but only 4 tracks per mode. Most of the cars in each class are exactly the same with different skins. It's like they tried to add so much stuff that they took away from what made these games fun in the first place. Played a couple hours and got a headache... uninstall!
Unironically not a bad game. Anyone who tries to say this is worse than Big Rigs obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.
If you really think that FlatOut 3 was the worst game ever, then you clearly don't know much about games in general.

I've played other Team6s' games like 'German Street Racing', 'European Street Racing', 'French Street Racing', 'Glacier Racing' (aka Tesco Ice Racing), 'Glacier 2', 'Glacier 3', 'Amsterdam Taxi Madness' and 'TaXi 3 eXtreme rush' :)
At the time of its release this was probably the best and most ambitious title in the whole Team6s' history!
It is trash, a trainwreck, and an abomination of a racing game... but it's also so utterly ridiculous that I just had to try one more race... and then one more... and maybe one more XD
After few tries I started to actually get it, and won some races.
Weird feeling - at first I was ready to toss this game aside at any moment, but it started to win me over a little bit, with the sheer amount of absolutely hilarious stuff happening basically every race.
It was NOT boring - and that's already better than FlatOut 4 ;p
I noticed that there's a really significant difference between cars, when it comes to handling and performance.
Most people say they all handle like trash... but... there is a peculiar appeal to all of that trashness :)
At the end of the day - I had a suspiciusly good time with this game ;p But, well - try at your own risk :)

the quit button is the best part of the game
This is one of the worst games ever made and you know it, but one thng nobody talks about is the achievements in this game. i have recently gotten every single achievement on this game and they are as bad and difficult as the game itself. firstly, the nightshift races and challenges are straight up impossible to get if played normally, you seriously have to go through the games files and tamper with the coding of the game by decreasing the cars hp to 100 (which is two hits) butgetting the achievement is still very difficult because the cars have insane rubberband on the gamemode, you should use the tank to destroy the car at the beginning and drive slow and steady (based on your preferrences on the coding) which is difficult considering how many levels nighshift has, other achievements are easy to get but getting the impossible achievement in splatout mode is downright impossible to get for many others, i seriously had to use achievement unlocker for it. This was my first ever videogame achievement on steam i have ever gotten and i must say i regret making this pile of dog poop as my first perfected game....
The Postal 3 of the FlatOut genre. Seems like the number 3 is cursed when it comes to games.

Still better than most Indie Unity racing games.
Yes, it has terrible controls and the sounddesign is also terrible, but it is playable, has a huge selection of cars and can actually be fun once you got into it.
It is a terrible wanna-be "FlatOut"-title, but definitely a playable racing game. Definitely not worth 10 bucks though.
Get it for like 1 or with the whole pack, lol.

Tony Hawk's Underground is a skateboarding game. You either skate or walk, mostly skate, through the whole game. However there is one short mission near the beginning, where you race with a car.
That one racing mission is about a thousand times better than this game, with superior physics and handling compare to this game. This game that is about racing with cars.
If this game was 12 years older, I'd say this was made completely by AI. However even that would propably still be better game than this.
I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up and awards

The comical downfall of the series and the sheer stupidity of this game force me to leave a positive review. It's actually pretty enjoyable garbage In some ways if you can get over the unfamiliarity with previous games.
Ok, i came here as a big fan of flatout games, I gave this one a shoot and tried every mode in this game, and i gotta say I am soooo dissapointed idk if It was flatout or some transformers s*** , seems to me that flatout 3 is made by completelly different people than fo 1, 2 and 2 remaster. You know when u start fo 1 then fo2 and then fo2 remaster u feel progress, but it stops there at fo2 remastered.. please dont u dare make fourth part ..
