I initially purchased DSX on Steam because I genuinely wanted to support the developers. I thought, "Wow, finally someone has created a program that allows native DualSense support on PC. Let's give them credit and pay for their work."

But after spending hours trying to make this work, I realized that it does absolutely NOTHING useful.

🔥 Key Issues:

You still see Xbox button prompts in every game (X, Y, A, B instead of ⭕🔺❌🔳).
DualSense Emulation is locked behind a DLC paywall after already paying for the software.
Even DualShock 4 emulation doesn’t work properly.
The "Use PlayStation Labels" option does NOTHING.
The software requires installing multiple external drivers and creates a mess on your system.
HIDHide and ViGEm Bus Drivers introduce more problems than they solve.
🎮 If you're buying this to get native PlayStation button prompts on PC, DON'T.
This is just an overpriced LED customization tool with a broken UI. The free GitHub version was abandoned, and now they charge for a version that doesn't work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

removed Dualsense support and added it as a paid DLC? so I have to pay again to use the feature that I paid to use in the first place.. Super greedy devs. Don't recommend purcharsing this

I don't mean to be disrespectful but this app is just stupid and poorly made. It's overpriced, a bunch of features are locked behind a paid license paidwall, the software is slow and has compatibility and stability issues.

I recommend using the free and open source DS4Windows instead of this.

Great tool with a neat UI, not perfect but is being constantly updated. Audio to Haptics is awesome. Easy recommend for any Dualsense owner.

Definitely a must have if you use a DualSense controller for gaming.

I use it for emulating a DS4 and Xbox 360 controller on games that don't support the DualSense.

Покупайте - не пожалеете (ну только если вам не пофиг на адаптивные курки и haptic, тогда там можно или старый DualSenseX или вообще DS4Windows)

100% does what it needs to but I think it goes too far into the UI design. It should be laid out more like GPU-Z where the main goal is to provide information and deliver a function. Nobody is really interested in fancy looking UI, it just needs to be functional.

Love this program. It runs perfectly and with the newest version is nearly perfect from Forza to GTA it just works. Worth every penny! if you are on the fence, just buy it. The DEVS are active and constantly improving its function and the controllers ability. I use it with a PS5 Controller and couldn't live without it.

Don't buy this paywalled trash. Yeah, I have a lot of hours in it, but honestly, that's just because I forget to close it.

I picked it up a few years ago since I liked the updated UI over DS4Windows and the DualSense options, but over time, the devs have gotten greedier and greedier. The icing on the cake? Charging for the fucking DualSense emulation.

Seriously, don’t buy this, just get it from GitHub. It is LITERALLY the only features you will ever realistically need. Nobody gives a fuck about being able to yoinky sploinky the triggers to make it SOMETIMES make it feel like I'm shooting a crossbow.

Can be used along with mods to add adaptive trigger and enhanced rumble to many games.
Its being constantly worked on and improved.
Must have for Dual Sense owners.

If you own a DualSense controller it's a pretty good program to have, I love to play with the GameCube triggers.
I think their are some free alternatives I didn't know about so look there first.
However, some mod devs make custom trigger loadouts for this program specifically though so it is worth it for that aspect.

Great app if you're using a DualSense controller and want the adaptive trigger feature. There's also DS4Windows if you don't have a DualSense or have no use for the extra things. There's also some adaptive trigger mods for games that use this app to do it.

alot of options, emulation of xbox controller and more, worth the buy

the new update (3.1) very useful but a little confusing at first with the amount of customization it has.

Written in the .NET framework by a scummy developer so support for Linux is unlikely. While I was on windows, the promised 3.1 was the most buggy mess i'd ever dealt with. If on windows, just use DS4, don't use this.

Its good for games that don't have native dual sense support.

works perfectly. Helped me get the right symbols in Red dead redemption 2 for my ps5 controller because rockstar by default only uses xbox symbols! Worth every penny IMHO! And im sure it'll do the same for other games too.

Listen, I hate reviewing things, but here we are almost 2,000 hours in and this thing just keeps getting worse.

Paliverse's cash-grab "upgrade" moving DS functionality into a higher premium add-on when it used to be base app functionality was a trash move. This app used to be great, but now we're in a place where settings are just ignoring their selection after a steady decline in user experience since I purchased the original DSX, before the "upgrade" existed. I never, *ever* want to see this app on startup and it used to respect that setting, but the V3 "upgrade" hogs a huge chunk of my screen on every reboot.

The app is constantly dropping inputs, sometimes even in passthrough, though rare. The CPU resources needed to emulate controller functionality are either low-priority in scheduling (potentially a machine issue, but likely not) or horribly allocated (not my fault, but is causing input drops). I'm more inclined to believe the former, because controllers connected without the app running work without any issues, there's just no DS functionality.

Lastly, get that "kindly connect a controller..." language out of here. No. I will not, and I will not do it kindly next time I do because of how this app makes me want to behave: like a petulant teenager with a baseball bat. I don't know who on your design team worked in call centers or for how long, but it's offensive to be told to do something with the request of "kindly." Don't tell me what to do directly, just inform me that I need to connect a controller for the app to work. Less words, more clear, doesn't use uncomfortable language. Amazing. What a concept.

I bought your product, twice. Lots of people here did. Kindly pull your heads out of your asses.

I changed a theme setting if I'm not mistaken, and now the application window is bugged, almost completely blank and everything is unreadable, I can't configure my control anymore.
I would really like to know if it's possible to fix this.
Or if it's possible to restore the application's default settings.
Please Help me

Application, Laggy, bugs, and buying the application only to have to pay again to support PS5 controller as "DLC" .. on top of that the community here Sucks.

The external speaker of the controller cannot be turned off.
Need full control over external speaker volume otherwise this software is useless.

pros:
- App has support for DualSense
- It's relatively easy to use

cons:
- Horrendously slow to navigate
- No reason to use this over the fast, working DS4Windows
- Developers are not great people, they are traitors of open-source
- DLC for something that should come in such an expensive tool

essential if you have a dualsense edge controller and want to play on PC with full functionality

Haptic Feedback on the controller always goes out of sync with the audio and I have to refresh it every single time. It is quite annoying and not sure how I can keep it without going out of sync. There is free software version of this one which works just fine and I think this is just overpriced. This software cannot be used on multiple accounts and you have to buy them again and again which is horrible.

Comes in handy in when you least expect it. Originally only bought it to use a new PS5 controller for a game. Ended up using it for a plethora of other games across a lot of different genres when M&K wasn't working out for me.

Only had a positive experience with this app. It allows me to play FC25 perfectly with my DualSense no BS or mixed button glyphs.

It kinda hacky but it works pretty well. A lot of people don't seem to know how to read guides on how it works, which I'll admit is a bit confusing as many games require a different setup.

I used to love this software back when it was for ds4 controllers. This new DSX software for the dualsense controllers is awful. The software lags and doesnt respond to inputs ever. everything is extremely slow, and it has stopped detecting my controllers about 90% of the time now. And I cant get into the settings to reinstall the drivers because the software just locks up.

staight trash and worse than ds4 windows do not waste your money

The version 3 is unusable. It has drifts and moving delays while playing MC with Xbox emulation. I have to switch to the v2 which doesn't have that problem.

sucks that i even need to use this software to run the PS5 pro edge controller but its not DSX that caused it tho so Im happy they were the solution to using my controller on PC. 10/10

It does its job but it cost money and has a premium payment on top of that so thats scummy feels like a call of duty microtransaction, is it not enough that i payed for your software do i need to pay again for the rest of the software?

Best if you get the dlc with it so that you can connect the controller via bluetooth and still get features to work on supported games

DSX is an amazing program! I’ve used the emulator for 70 hours, and I’m really impressed with how well it handles different controllers like Xbox, PS4, and PS5. It offers excellent solutions and fixes many issues I’ve faced with other emulators. However, I do have one complaint: why do I have to purchase additional support for other controllers separately after already buying the full emulator? This payment model feels unfair, and I hope the developers reconsider this approach. Additionally, I’d love to see support for Xbox Series and Xbox One controllers with improved button layouts for a more comfortable experience. Other than that, the program is fantastic and absolutely worth trying!

not perfect, but for the most part i can just set the adaptive triggers to w.e fits a game and then haptics can just go off the game's sound. not too good during cutscenes, but gets the job done during gameplay(depending on the game). played rdr2 with it and since that doesnt have a ps5 port, id say playing on mid-high pc with dsx is the next best thing. ill def utilize this with many games

The app has worked seamlessly for me - I'd recommended it for all users of DualSense controllers.

Just like what the recent reviews say, this app isn't worth it anymore. Or, at the very least do not toggle Launch with Windows for this app, it will prevent you from using a dualsense controller for both wireless and wired mode. Early days of this app was fun, but it is just not worth the headache anymore. It still works, but just enough to infuriate you.

Useful, and the new beta seems to bring long awaited features. Nice UI, bugs are being hammered out. Although the free alternatives (DS4Windows is the best IMO) is very good too, if you don't want to spend the money(yet?) on DSX.

simulation ps5 dosent work on dual sense. simulation ps4 and xbox dont have vibration on fc25 please add and fix problem . everything is awsome just vibration and simulation ps5 dosent work

An absolutely must have if you own a Dualsense Controller, actively developed and keeps on getting better.
