Funny like the first part. Did not have any problems running on windows 11 at first and I really liked it. Then after approx. 15h it was not able to load the savegame anymore.
That's a no go.
Boss game if I have ever seen 1.

The first DeathSpank was such a genious RPG game that it left me in awe for a few weeks after I finished it... It was one of those short RPG games that are either too good to exist, leave you wanting for more OR straight up trash. DeathSpank was good, really good, so good in fact that I decided to make a video review on it in my abandonned Youtube Channel like a couple of years ago.
DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue is basically the same game, but for those that complained the original game was too short... and I totally agree.
Take part in a new adventure of the hero of the downtrodden, DeathSpank, as he is now tasked by none other than the red-haired woman to retrieve the Thongs of Virtue from their wearers after they've become corrupt. Travel the jungles of Scurvy Ville, the desert of Strumfuquel, the snowy orcish wastes and sail through the sea around the north pole in search of these Thongs to save the world...
Didn't that plot just sound completely ridiculous? Maybe because it is, and that's the magic of DeathSpank! This sarcastic superhero will do basically anything to get attention (that's how he puts it, not me lol). Anyways, this game has had me giggle many times, and no I'm not talking about the Dark Humour of the first game where DeathSpank literally alludes to pe**philia! Here, the humor is... Tamer, I guess, for the newer generations.
DeathSpank can, as usual, equip things, use things, and slash through an entire orcish hordes like it's nothing. After you acquire runestones, the hero of the downtrodden can also perform Special Justice attacks when his Justice Meter is full... These elemental fury strikes deal tremendous damage and can get you out of sticky situations. There are also two endings, one more nonsensical than the other Lol!! But this is DeathSpank, everything's permitted here... It's like an overdose of drunkness; it's like the entire game is on drugs and I love it!
DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue continues the adventures of the Hero of the Downtrodden with a very effective 10/10... I don't know how else to describe it, it's kind of complicated, you'd have to play it to understand it... I mean they even made fun of Karens BEFORE Karens even existed... What else is there to say lol
The DeathSpank video games series is the best action, RPG, Adventure games ever made...EVER! It is impossible not to love Deathspank, and I mean personally, with emotions involved to the highest extent. He is so funny, quirky, charming, sarcastic, independent, and KIND, yes kind, although his aura appears to be the opposite. But no one or character can take a player on the ride of their life like Deathspank does.
I must have played Thongs of Virtue (2), and DeathSpank (1), and The Baconing (3) hundreds of times throughout the years, and every time I do it's a new exciting, and thrilling experience I don't forget.
Take all the descriptive words I used to explain DeathSpank's personality, and character, and quadruple it, and there you will find a hero worthy of the depth of a player's heartfelt feelings, and emotions. (He can even make you cry...I couldn't help myself, okay???) I love him! I love the games. My heart races everytime I play!
So Deathspank is a LEGEND. The Dev's aren't making anymore games with DeathSpank as the star. This is the saddest part of knowing DeathSpank, and having experienced the thrilling roller coaster like adventures he's taken me on. If he were only human...then I'd be a heroin with the ability to kick-ass and take names just like him as I would have followed him, trained by him, and we would have been friends for life.
Like glue DeathSpank, like SUPER glue Baaaabeeee!
