After applying a patch to remove the SWF calls, it works like a dream. I just wish it were easier to integer-upscale old software like this so it isn't so tiny.
Luxor is a very fun and nostalgic puzzle game.
Anyone who is familiar with Atrativa's golden age in the 2000s, when it had Cuzzle Deluxe, Bejeweled, Zuma, and The Amazing Adventures, knows exactly what I'm talking about!
I bought it expecting to play it, but it got a problem and it's serious that there is still no update to fix it.
Error 1: After installing, the game won't open.
Error 2: Even if you use a fix that makes the game open, the game's sound literally disappears... but when it's outside of STEAM... it works normally... so illogical!
I won't give refunds because this game had a very positive impact on my childhood and the 2000s.
This game does not work...don't waste your money and time buying it.

This used to work fine on Windows 10, but with Adobe retiring Flash it has become unplayable. It crashes on startup, because SWF splash screen is blocked. Developer doesn't seem to be interested in fixing the game and the only way to play is used a cracked exe. Don't buy!
Old but still playable. Recommand it for everyone who wants to waste so, time.
Luxor is a match 3 arcade game with a twist - the orbs move on a path. The goal is to shoot colored balls at the "trains" or segments moving along the path and match all of the balls before it reaches the end. More and more segments are required to complete the level with more colors being introduced, and the segment getting a farther head start incrementally ramps up the difficulty. Rinse and repeat for the 100 or so levels then the glory of the Egyptians gods will be restored.
The graphics look fine and the UI functions as intended.
The audio gives proper feedback and has a nice thematic sountrack.
No bugs were encountered in my playthrough, but a few complaints. Later Luxor games offer more power-ups with awesome, unique abilities, which this game sorely needs. The "catch up" mechanic of the segments seems to be very weird or unfair at times when making numerous match chains.
Overall, an addictive and good time killing experience for anyone. Also, yes, I am aware that many can not play the game. The game doesn't work as intended with new hardware, but an easily to comprehend patch exists for many of the Luxor games
