Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones™

This game is a lot of fun! The combat is a bit better than the previous entries and the platforming is just as good, so it's really just a solid game.
This version is pretty buggy, though. So it can take some doing to get it to work.

This game and warrior within are the best games that ubisoft could ever made,the story is absolutely insane. One of the best game of all time, u can feel that this game was made w passion. The gameplay is a little buggy but it s understandable bcz is like 20 yo. We hope for a remake

Very buggy i don't know why. Whenever I try to climb down a chain the prince literally gets stuck. V-sync doesn't work for this game for some reason I am frustrated. My money got wasted I guess...

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones has a great story like the previous two parts. The battles are a little improved, the graphics are good, but if you want to finish the game, you will have to switch the monitor to 60hz refresh rate, because no other way. The game has a lot of bugs. You can to play at 120,144 or 240hz, (it depends on how much refresh rate your monitor can pull) until you reach the descent chain, and when you push some objects,you should switch to 60hz. If you play the game from start to finish at 60hz, then you won't have any problems with bugs.

I guess the prince is pretty cool.

Not Worth it. Warrior within was far better in terms of story, gameplay and graphics.

A bit of let down and the weakest one in trilogy but still a great game.

A flawed but fitting conclusion to an otherwise great trilogy, The Two Thrones improves upon some of the strengths of its predecessors, while taking a few steps back in other departments. While adding new gameplay elements to keep things fresh.

While still being slightly superior to Sands of Time, the game falters with its enemy variations. While Warrior Within had several enemies that required certain moves to defeat, most of your targets are either beefy soldiers who can knock you back immediately, or they’re archers who shoot at you from a distance.

The combat is just as fun and varied as WW, and the addition of stealth kills and the Dark Prince itself makes it worth playing. Along with the visuals and music which make a return to SoT’s lush Arabian aesthetic.

The addition of chariot races is also riveting, and the back-and forth between the Prince and his dark counterpart is rather amusing and adds some much needed levity to the otherwise serious narrative.

Bosses are an improvement on the previous two entries, since they require you to use each of your skills to their fullest. (Using slow-mo to catch a fast-moving soldier, platforming to jump onto a giant, using acrobatics to take out two tough-as-nails warriors, and the final boss requiring all the above).

The story does have a few shortcomings and is the weakest of the three, but it does wrap things up in a very satisfying way at the end. The only major downside is that much of the new mechanics suffer from a lack of polish.

Still definitely worth the money.

Classic. But very buggy

Don't buy it! its unplayable! chains slidding is buggy cant progress the game any further turning on and off the Vsync wont help neither, prince wont hold on to ledge he keep slipping down, chariot race is bugged keep crashing into wall.

Please make a remake of this game!!

I have beaten this game like 50 times, I have no life lease help.

really a great game but with some caveats. the game has some buggy moments, mostly in regards to finishers or how things react to the environment. what do i mean with the finishers? well, if you fail something and rewind, the enemies will just immediately fail you sometimes. it doesnt always, but it does happen. this i think was a old bug even in the original game but i cant be certain since i cant remember and there are a few graphical glitches. not many, but there were times where i saw the endless grey void in a cutscene or things didnt align well for how it was supposed to be.

time manipulation is always fun

OOf 20 years i used to play this thing on a console and it was good now on pc is a pain in the butt, i still prefer Warrior Within by far, better story more serious and less clunky with the camera the movement.

besides all that if you deal with the movement and the analogic camera you will have fun with this now old game.

One of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing, bar none. This is as smooth as it gets and a thrilling adventure, slash closing to the Sands trilogy.

A weaker, less atmospheric and less polished extension of Sands of Time formula. Still, the game has it's moments and if you enjoyed the previous entries, you'll find a lot to like here too.

A beautiful ending to the Prince's story but it could've been more than we got now if not for Ubisoft rushing out the release, Kindred Blades , but great game nonetheless

Great Game. Brings back my old days of childhood. I remember how me and my friends used to play this game one by one, from one water fountain to another.

No support for controller?!!

Not a bad game in itself. Same thing as the previous ones. Great in platforming, but the fighting is very bad (except for the fighting with camera, which is spot on, as always). Main thing is the stealth mechanic which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't and that in combination with the tradition of stupidly placed checkpoints will make you go over the same tedious fighting over and over... Boss fights are Ubisoft's attempt at creating the worst and most tedious boss fights in history and they succeeded admirably. One boss fight has two main enemies, and it's a boss fight fighting the industrial magnetic strength of one enemy while fighting the other. I can't imagine some of the devs not going 'this doesn't work,the idea of control is laughabl at best during this fight'., but Ubisoft just puts everything in, serious dips in quality, like deleting game' from people's library if they want to (the wrecking crew) is after all their strong point. Kudos to the platform devs for making a very good game, would have been great if the execs would have done their job and not let quality dip so low sometimes it affects the overall quality (don't think Ubisoft execs know what quality is to be fair, but hey, they do one heck of a job deleting games from people who bought them, and that ha to be a job skill in some galaxy). In any case, i you do decide to play this one (as I say, platforming is again top notch), doe it on an emulator, the savestates will spare you much tediousness and annoyance.

The Two Thrones brings the Prince back with a solid mix of what made Sands of Time and Warrior Within great. It has the grit of Warrior Within with the magic of Sands of Time, and switching between the Prince and the Dark Prince added a fun twist. Those speed kills were super satisfying when you nailed them. The city of Babylon felt alive, and racing through its rooftops was a blast. But man, in 2024, those old camera angles and clunky controls really show their age. Still, it’s a fitting wrap-up to the trilogy.

Absolutely the worst installment in this f*cking series. The parkour is broken and glitches out all the time. The combat is the weakest and the story is absolute dogsh!t and you can't even skip the cutscenes.
