20+ bucks for this game is crazy. Do not buy this, unless you can get this game for 5$/€ or less. The gameplay is really repetitive and boring, the haircuts / customers don't look good, especially the beards, and the game has some annoying bugs. I really wanted to love the game, but I gotta be honest with everybody - this game has too little quality to recommend it.
Just nope. Janky. I think this was made for bored 11 year old girls. Refunded.

fun but repetitive
I want to enjoy this game, I really do. However, just like others are saying, there's bugs galore. ESPECIALLY with the hair... You know, the thing that this game is CENTERED around. I can't even do the tutorial now without it acting up. Very game breaking because the tutorial girl's hair went from a full head of hair to NOW having massive portions missing. I can't do the wash after the color! I KNOW y'all can do better! Come on now!
This game gets progressively worse with every update. Constant crashes, now hair is showing up shaved in sandbox mode. Constant bugs are piling up. It's now completely unplayable. Good scam for money.
I had really high hopes for this game, I've been wanting to play a hairdresser game for such a long time and thought this would be perfect.
However, it was very buggy. It took ages to load. And now I found out they're releasing long hair, but as a DLC!!? What? That should just be a base game feature. Craziness.
I was very excited to get this game as i love the house flipper games and a bunch of other simulator games. However, you need an RTX 3060 as a recommended GC? thats insane given that I can play Hogwarts Legacy with a 3020 and 3050 as well as a bunch of other games, I will drop some of the issues I had that led to me getting a refund on this despite it being on sale:
1. The graphic requirement is insane, as stated above I can play a bunch of high detailed games with little to no issues so why is this requiring so much for so little?
2. I crashed constantly, even with saving after each day, it came to a point where my saves became corrupted from the crashes that I had to CONSTANTLY start a new game, It was very frustrating because I did enjoy the game very much.
3. The hair was very buggy, it pretty much looked like strings instead of hair and the physics remind me of unpolished GTA physics back in the day.
4. Character creation is crazy, it looks very bad. For a game that is required to have a high quality graphic card, this looks like a poorly chopped mobile game.
It has potential but i dont think it is worth needing a 3060 graphic card as a recommended card, given a lot of high detailed games dont even have a recommendation so high.
Great game to play while watching streams :) highly recommended regardless of the bugs.
I've been having a good time with this game and do recommend it, however I've noticed glitches with the npc's (keep walking into the workers and stay in a walking motion), the scissors/ comb and shower head can get very buggy. I'm excited for the long hair dlc coming out in Dec., as I really think the base game needs it badly, right now it's so focused towards short hair cut styles and I would love variety.
Ideas: Would be awesome to see nails and makeup for women come into the game as dlc!
Crashes constantly. I have a pretty decent PC, and I cannot get through day 3 without a crash, even on the lowest settings. I purchased this on sale for $12.99 and requested a refund because it is basically unplayable. This is after their "major update to fix stability" so I suggest waiting for them to fix this game before purchasing. The update did not fix the problems.
I wanted to love this game as I've played a lot of their games in the past, and as a hair stylist IRL I was intrigued. But the controls are clunky, and trying to use the clippers was such a pain, I gave up after my 2nd client. I also felt like it took more time to set up your salon than it did to do the tutorial and your first few clients. If I wanted to clean up a space and redecorate, I'd move over to House Flipper...
plays fine for a while, but is terribly buggy and multiple times the screen has just... gone black and stayed that way. also feels like it's just ripped assets from other games, like the player models have bugged eyes and just stare open eyed at the ground? also you can *barely* customize a character, and it's not even you! it's just a random customer you make? major disappointment because i love house flipper a lot :/

This unpolished game should have stayed in an Early Access state.
The tutorial is still a load of shit because you can't get the tutorial complete even though you've purchased everything, I wish I had of left this game until it was ready properly but so far what a crock of shit this is. Jesus, you've updated several times and failed to implement any changes to the tutorial. What a hot mess this game is, I wish I could refund it but I can't, what a fucking pity cos it's a piece of shit the way it stands
It is a good game with minor bugs. I wish they could have different models as the base hair and that they could allow us to shave the beard etc.
There are other details in which I think should be added, for example, having long hairs and having the possibility of do a free-style on a client for higher tips.

+ The amount of customization for characters AND decor is
extremely impressive (reminiscent of Sims 3 pattern selection)
+ You choose your clients each day
+ The game's progression is well-paced
+ You are able to step away at any time and leave the game running,
as clients don't have a real-life time limit
+ The devs seem to be quick at fixing major bugs
+ The game has a lot of DLC potential, with new styles, colors, decor, etc

♥ CONS ♥
- You need really good computer specs to get the full experience
- Everything feels very slow at times: the characters walk slowly, the
tools move through hair slowly, some tools require many steps, etc
- Occasional visual glitches that haven't been fixed (see below for info)
- The hairstyles start to look too similar, likely because they're all based
off of the same one hair model
- Some of the tools can be a little complicated and clunky, meaning
some clients may take 30+ real-life minutes (without rushing)
- You cannot saving while helping clients, so you're stuck playing the
game until you're done (you can end the day early, however)
- Some decor hitboxes need to be more precise to properly decorate
- There is no grid option for decor placement, so it may take you awhile
to decorate if you're prone to perfection

♥ ISSUES I'VE COME ACROSS ♥
1. A client who is signed up for dye sometimes walks in with a strange
holographic film over their hair. When dyeing hair, that holographic film
is applied with the dye, and ALWAYS covers about half of their head, but then
washes out when you rinse the dye. It does not affect gameplay, but
does make it slightly difficult to see the color.
2. In the 2nd purchasable salon (the butcher shop), your clients' skin isn't lit
by the environment. Their hair is lit properly, along with your employees
and their clients, which is part of what makes this glitch so strange. It does not
affect gameplay, just looks really weird.
3. Sometimes NPCs get stuck in tight walkways. Obviously, the current solution
is to give plenty of room to walk, but some locations are fairly small, making this
solution imperfect. It has not affect mu gameplay yet, but might.

♥ SUGGESTIONS FOR DEVS ♥
There are a few (seemingly minor) tweaks and adjustments that I believe would
make a huge difference in how people are able to approach, customize, and
enjoy the game.
♥ DECORATING ♥
♥ Make decor hitboxes smaller, especially for plants (an option to ignore
hitboxes would be ideal, similar to the "moveobjects" Sims cheat)
♥ Add a toggle-able grid for decor placement
♥ More decor options would be amazing, even in paid DLC
♥ Add wall building so we can customize the salon layout
♥ Be able to choose decorations on tabletops, along with the random option
♥ GAMEPLAY ♥
♥ Speed up actions, such as walking, hair brushing, etc
♥ Add an option to save at any time
♥ Add more base hair models to help prevent repeated looks
♥ Add products like hairspray and gel that you can use on clients after styling
to increase your revenue
♥ Sellable products and a cashier to sell them

♥ FINAL THOUGHTS ♥
♥ I'm not sure what the state of the game was like when it was first released, but
as it stands right now, minus the visual glitches I've found, I think this game is
incredible and has a ton of potential, so long as the devs continue updating it.
They've done a fantastic job at keeping up with the bugs and glitches, and as long
as they keep it up, I see this game being in my regular replay rotation.
♥ The hair engine is so cool, making the hair move in mostly realistic ways. I truly
enjoy each step during the styling process, especially cutting hair, even if it can be
a little clunky at times.
♥ Building has always been one of my favorite features in games, and this game is no
exception - the decor pieces are so beautiful, and the customization is great so far. I
really hope to see the devs expand on the building mechanics to keep players like
me engaged as the game expands and grows.
I dont know why there is mixed reviews on this game... I find it very enjoyable. Sure there can be some work done. But I think it is very theraputic. Im a big fan of Simulator type games and I can say this one is on my top 5 favorites that I have played.
very bad graphics on hair for it being a hairdresser game. i dont think its worth anything more then $10 max. Mobile hair games look better then this tbh..
I love the game, love the concept, love the options you get BUT:
- I played for not even 2 hours and it crashed two times (in the same in-game day also, or at least I believe so)
- How can my computer be below minimal req. if I can comfortably play RDR2 or other stuff on pretty high details?
- The tutorial got kinda stuck, I can still play normally but it is stuck on the hiring stage (And I had to buy additional stuff to even hire somebody but it still doesn't somehow count)
- Those people scare me a little, but thats's not that important
- The hair physique is sometimes a little buggy, mainly during washing stage where the strands fall into the face (Not on, it's inside the face)
All things considered, I payed 11,4 euros and I would say that's worth it. I love this company, I enjoy both House Flipper games and I believe they will fix stuff in the future. The game will still be mine after some time and I will gladly wait for other fixes and optimalization.
Needs a lot of updates for it to be 100% fun. In the second salon I have a shader bug or something where everything is just black. FPS drops as soon as customer enters the salon and I have lags as I work on their hair. It isn't well balanced, imo. Also, cutting specific strands of hair in between hair I'm not supposed to cut is tedious and feels almost impossible. Idk if, at this stage, I'd recommend it.
This game does have its problems. It is a bit buggy. That being said, the developers are still working on sorting out many of the issues and I am having a lot of fun with it.
I read the reviews and I took a chance. I wish I didn't - I am so disappointed by this game.
It has so much potential but when the whole point of it being a hairdressing game and the hair itself is so glitched it disappears, changes colour to chromatic where its bugged and is such bad quality you can't actually play the same. The mechanics and the potential was there but I would AVOID this game until they fix issues.

The game crashes when I do clients that want extravagant hairstyles/colours. Customers often glitch into the workers, making them walk in place until the vacuum cleaner pet pushes them. The vacuum cleaner pet then gets stuck as well.. And the customers facial expressions gave me nightmares. Definitely needs some TLC.
