Very fun game to play with your friends. The control is pretty simple so you can play it with a non-gamer player. I recommend using controller to play this game

It's a fun but challenging game, you can play single player but I wouldn't recommend it personally, definitely more of a multiplayer game but it's a lot of fun coming up with new strategies with your friends to improve your service

addictive. wish i have more friends to play with tho :/ but glad i found some public that were willing to stay and play with me for few more hours. great experience overall. also, it will be f great if overcooked is able to develop a ranking or rank lobby(?), it will make the players become even more competitive!

Great party game that combines the two previous entries and all their DLCs. Get a few controllers to play it as it's not really enjoyable on the keyboard even though it does work.
The chaos of this game is an adrenaline rush!

I'm trying to remote play but it won't allow me to use the entire controller for each individual person. Split controller only one half of the controller can be utilized per person? What's up with that?

AMAZING update and compilation.
Played overcooked 2 on switch previously, this time on steam deck (connected to TV in the living room) and it is incredible how much better this performs. Not just in terms of frame rate and graphics, just controlling the characters was so much better.
Both main games, added game modes, 15 DLCs, tons of characters (which are beautifully designed and adorable), better performance, great graphics.
There's survival mode, there's NG+ with added 4th star to chase "perfection".
Even if you own OC 1 and 2, this is worth purchasing (especially on sale).
I do not recommend this game if you want to play it with 4 players online.
I bought it not knowing that there is a years long bug with this, and there is no fix available or even in the works. Search up "Error E015-7" for this game if you'd like to know more and you'll see threads that are 1-2 years old with no resolution. 4-player online multiplayer was a huge part of why I bought the game in the first place, and I'm really disappointed it doesn't work, even with all the tips and tricks I've seen online.
If you want to only play with only 1 or 2 friends, though. It's a charming and chaotic game.
This game has both overcooked 1 and overcooked 2, lots of fun characters, and tear inducing extra dlcs (Guess why I said tear inducing) aaaaaaaand its crossplay! This game should be all you need if you wanna play overcooked, however just remember these two key notes: this game is NOT fun solo, and you need to have chill friends and NOT take things seriously or else it will ruin friendships (it happened to some people ig). Have fun everyone and I hope that this review helps <3
Final final note: the reason why I said tear inducing is cuz they're the levels you would play if you really wanna spice up the gameplay and usually pro players play those so they can be challenging for beginners.

Great game! The crossplatform option to play was the reason I bought it.
I enjoy playing with my family who own a Nintendo Switch and it was fun.
When I hosted, they lost connection at one point and then they hosted and I joined and it was stable.
The game requires good communication so no Online Gaming without Discord or another possibility to speak with each other.

However, I do not recommend getting this game if you don't have someone to play it with.

I wish the game was less laggy. It would be a 10/10 if it was smooth especially in multiplayer. 9/10.

Don't buy this game right now if you want to play with friends. It just doesnt work.
It let us play 2 levels, and then just started crashing over and over again. couldnt play.
The game play is fun, but for a 3 year old game that doesn't have working online multiplayer is baffling
Developer Team17 Digital please patch connection issues. The online aspect kind of plays a major role in a predominantly multiplayer/co-op title
Otherwise one of the best local co-op experiences on Steam to collaborate and work together with friends (Broforce still rank #1)
The game itself is great fun, however after every level on the campaign we disconnect from multiplayer due to a network error, from reading other reviews this seems to be a common issue. I hope this is fixed soon!
Network issue meaning my partner and I disconnect after every level which is very frustrating. Also we have attempted to just reconnect, it then will disconnect before loading the level and we have to completely restart the game. It's a shame as the gameplay is fun, but the crashes just make it unenjoyable. They have said they've released a patch to look into this... I hope this is true and they are going to fix it... not going to refund in the hope this happens within the next couple of weeks...

Multiplayer connection is bugged and its a known issue, devs not doing anything to fix it apparently. Game would be good otherwise but it will disconnect friends every time it loads a new level. We tried with multiple hosts, added everyone through the game itself, invited through steam, different configurations of players, different nights, you name it. Just does not work.
This game suddenly turned into a single player game idk what happened.
