Bought this game a second time on my steam deck only to find out it doesn't support local co-op; a huge shame. For a game centered around teamwork, local coop should be the standard, even on a PC port. Reviewing in hopes that they will fix the game and servers.

Great game, but beware; the crossplay servers are cooked.
The shading and the texturing needs work in some areas as well; some items look dusty/gray.
Multiplayer is broken - attempting to join a 4-player session yields an error message every time.
Overcooked's a lot of fun with friends, but I wouldn't recommend buying this until they solve the multiplayer issue.
Multiplayer is broken and Team17 just doesn't care. You can search for error e015-7 and find results from years ago saying "my friends get disconnected after every game" or "we can't even start a match online" and T17 just says it's "being investigated."
This game is so fun but can y'all PLEASE fix the damn Error E-00001. It's been 3 Years come on
My wife and I both bought the game and we could never get past intro coz the devs never fixed the game.
Fun and family friendly. Easy to learn for beginner gamers and children. The game progressively gets harder and each individual game is more difficult than the last.
The fast and furious cooking to get that food out in time, while laughing and stressing with friends with cute worlds are amazing!
E015-7 "You've been disconnected due to a network error, please check your connection and try again."
Literally unplayable. Seems like this issue has been around since launch based on the threads I've found trying to troubleshoot this. Following the developers troubleshooting steps didn't help for any of us.
Co-op unplayable. Error E015-7 is persistent and drops your connection.
Game consistently disconnects from party when trying to play online with friends, with the same E015-7 error (network error). It happens almost every time we try to party up, literally unplayable.
Great game. Dog shit servers.
DO NOT GET THIS GAME IF YOU INTEND TO PLAY ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!
I've played this game couch co-op on a switch and played the individual Overcooked 2, but the All You Can Eat online multiplayer is unplayable. I bought this game for two of my friends, but when we try to connect to the T17 servers, we are plagued with connectivity issues. If we can even create a game lobby together, the lobby crashes after every round. Everyone's game has to be restarted, and sometimes that doesn't even fix the issue.
Of my 5 hours, at least 3 have been spent troubleshooting and dealing with networking issues. When I actually get to play the game with my friends, it's fun! But this... this is not fun.
The developers have known about the issue and have released various troubleshooting guides, but their servers are still dog shit.
Not a whole lot of new content added compared to Overcooked 2. It is much more worth playing Overcooked 2 for the price. However, if you buy this game when it's on sale, it's not that bad. I think a big reason why it's so expensive is because it includes a bunch of old and new DLC levels included with the base game.
The performance issues others have been experiencing I personally haven't ran into. The game has been out for almost 4 years now so I'd hope they've fixed any performance issues by now.
As someone who goes for achievements, this game was nothing compared to Overcooked 2. The only ones I "struggled" with was the co-op just because I mainly play Overcooked games solo.
Completely unplayable. Servers work on a potato and few usb cables. Cannot play with friends with servers constantly crashing
it's a fun game but it glitches a lot, and there isn't much new content. i would recommend overcooked 1 and 2 though they both play well, do not glitch and are very fun. this game does have some features that the others ones don't that are really nice. ayce is definitely only worth buying on sale.

Honestly, I love the game, but unless you just want to play single player, its unplayable, cant connect to anything when hosting, constant kicks, we even got kicked mid round on level 6 of the horde final. It really needs fixed because this is a nightmare.

How the eff does a 3 year old remaster of almost 10 year old games not work online anymore???
This game have a problem with connecting controllers. Which made me refund the game and buy the original overcooked instead. Would have been better if they fixed this issue.
As many others have stated before, this game will NOT let you play with friends past the tutorial, whatsoever. It seems as though the developers made this game, released it, and then completely abandoned it. It would be a great game if you could actually PLAY it with friends, but unfortunately that isn't the case at all. No other game would be able to get away with this level of buggy-ness, and at $40 the amount of work left that they have to do on this game in order to make it remotely functional for multiplayer it just is not worth the money. Save your money and spend it wisely elsewhere.
Multiplayer is mega whack and disconnects after every level and we have to restart every time. Huge pain in the butt! Please fix asap!
I've always known about the overcooked series but never really had a reason to play it. That would all change when the group chat was tired of playing the same two games every day and needed something fresh. I don't know how, but a friend convinced everyone to get his game as it was on sale on the PSN store for 1/4 of the price that it is on Steam. I bought it on Steam because it had crossplay. The game was fun, but I wish you could verse friends, etc. It's now December 10th, and we last played 3 weeks ago. Despite liking the game, I had the foresight to know how these cavemen operate and refunded it after our first few game sessions.
the online feature need to be improved I got to play 4 to 5 games then after we got disconnected and retrying didnt work. Also just now I cant event do invites it just loading infinitely. it seems that not just me encountering this problem. I wish the team could really fix this

Peguei promoção, mas crl são 200 reais pra reciclagem. Os caras pegaram todo conteúdo de Overcooked 1 e 2 + as DLCs e colocaram uns gráficos melhorzinhos que não fazem diferença nenhuma, e pouquíssimas DLCs novas meia tigela tudo feito sem vontade. Muito ruim, não tem nada de novo aqui.

Absolute chaos and I forget what buttons to use since I'm using a Playstation controller and the game is preset for Xbox. Otherwise I'm enjoying the game. <3
Was originally hesitant to buy this because of the people having co-op issues. Played Campaign w/ boyfriend. Both PCs. Both different countries. No issues so far. Wondering if one of the issues might be Crossplay itself. I turned mine off, but he had his on, but again, both of us running PCs. Take that info how you will and may your cooking journey best be served well. o7

this game will test the strength of all relationships. ALL OF THEM. The marriage will be tested, the bond between you and your children will be tested, your best friend's relationship will be strained, and most likely you will find yourself alone the longer you play this game. absolutely love this game and series.
Horrible, spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to play with my friends and then THE SECOND we get in, we could only play the tutorial and would get kicked out once we're on the road :/ the game doesn't seem like it's gonna be fixed because the last time I heard from people getting the error was from JAN 26, and for a game that's been out since 2021, I just, don't think it's worth the time frankly enough :/ the previous versions have better crossplay plugins, get those instead ( yes it's more expensive, but I'd like to think time is more valuable than spending 2 dollars less :/ )

It is a good game, but the DLC has fewer levels (but some are challenging).
One thing to note is the DLC level related to Chinese (mid-autumn or CNY ). I don't know if there is anything Chinese on the team. The map design looks like a Chinese hell, and we don't burn four incense. Maybe the team needs to do a fact-check before they design the map. The traditional cloth also looks like a death people shirt.

I've played Overcooked 1 and 2, including all DLCs and I got all the achievements in each game. This game caused my anxiety to worsen, and new trauma episodes loading. Eggscuse me....what with the nasty glitches and lags on online multiplayer?! I can't brie-lieve this! it's only a matter of thyme.
Please romaine calm the developers will fix this mess, but lettuce not get curried whey. There's too much at steak.
Game play is great and my wife and I are huge fans. When we first purchased the games we were hooked and played non stop for hours. Lately however when we've played recently there are non stop errors and game crashes. I just assumed it was my pc. But when I purchased the same game on my switch and played with my wife, there are still errors and crashes. This can't be a coincidence can it?

Very fun game to play with your friends. The control is pretty simple so you can play it with a non-gamer player. I recommend using controller to play this game

It's a fun but challenging game, you can play single player but I wouldn't recommend it personally, definitely more of a multiplayer game but it's a lot of fun coming up with new strategies with your friends to improve your service
