INTRODUCTION
A new visual novel game co-produced by "The Fruit of Grisaia" creators Frontwing and Makura, written by "If My Heart Had Wings"'s Asuta Konno.
STORY
In the near future, a sudden and unexplained sea rise has left much of human civilization underwater.Ikaruga Natsuki, a boy who lost his mother and his leg in an accident some years earlier, returns disillusioned from a harsh life in the big city to find his old countryside home half-swallowed by the sea.
Left without a family, all he has to his name is the ship and submarine left to him by his oceanologist grandmother, and her debts.
His only hope to restore the dreams for the future that he has lost is to take up an opportunity presented to him by the suspicious debt collector Catherine. They set sail to search the sunken ruins of his grandmother's laboratory in order to find a treasure rumor says she left there.
But what they find is not riches or jewels; it is a strange girl lying asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea.
Atri.
Atri is a robot, but her appearance and her wealth of emotions would fool anyone into think she's a living, breathing human being. In gratitude for being salvaged, she makes a declaration to Natsuki.
"I want to fulfill my master's final order. Until I do, I'll be your leg!"
In a little town slowly being enveloped by the ocean, an unforgettable summer is about to begin for this boy and this mysterious robot girl...

Atri
"I'll be your leg, Natsuki-san!"

A robot girl salvaged from the bottom of the ocean by Natsuki.

It seems like she served as Natsuki's grandmother's assistant in the past, but she has almost no memory of the time before her long sleep beneath the sea. She asks Natsuki for help restoring her lost memories, such that she can fulfill her former master's last order.

Nojima Ryuuji
"Dude, why don't we start up a salvage business?"
18 years old (High school, 3rd year)
A strong and hardy local boy. He's the type who prefers to solve problems with brawn over brains.
The son of a local construction firm, the family workshop has unfortunately long been swallowed by the waves. Though he helps out with the work his family still performs, he longs for independence.
Straight-talking and reliable, the children of the town view him as their leader.
Catherine
"We really have struck the jackpot! This thing will sell for a pretty penny. ♪"
? years old
A mysterious, self-proclaimed 'debt collector' who presents Natsuki with a plan to pay off his debts by salvaging his grandmother's sunken treasures.
Natsuki has no idea who she is, but he suspects 'Catherine' is not her real name.
Seems like a beautiful, enigmatic woman... Until she opens her mouth.
Nanami Ririka
"Ah, I bet you're in love with her, aren't you!? She's real pretty, after all."
10 years old (Elementary school, 5th year)
A little orphan girl who lives at the school. Lively and tomboyish, she goes about everything at full speed.
A little sister figure to Minamo who causes her all kinds of problems. Her first impressions of Natsuki are less postive, however; she calls him the 'Hitman' because of how scary she finds him.

Truly a masterpiece. ''I'm high-performance, after all~!''
Never played a visual novel before this one but decided to pick it up after watching the anime. It happened to be on sale, best money I've ever spent, I can't recommend this enough. It tells such a beautiful story while also getting to me on a personal level. Whether you have experience visual novels or are brand new to them, give this a try, I promise you will not regret it.
Works great on steam deck.
As someone who grew up with people around me essentially shouting at me that I was autistic based off some half-assed stereotypes (the real problem was neglect), this story helped me process some stuff without getting too brutal. I really enjoyed this.
Given that, I thought the writing was just okay, the foreshadowing was a bit heavy handed and not too many things came off as a surprise or truly novel. There are a couple really weird pacing decisions and some really big things are just dropped to further on the main plot that is the love story. The main girl's physical "age" is a bit of a problem given the usual trappings and tropes of anime, but really there's not too much problematic here. Good enough soundtrack and cute enough love story. I recommend at full price for hardcore VN fans and waiting for a sale for anyone else.
While I find the narrative to be just ok, I really enjoyed the message it leaves at the end.
Overall a great read.
Matsumoto Fuminori does not miss
very high-performance indeed 7/10
Finally saw the "True Ending", and its hard to not lament on how life has passed me by so far, considering numerous wasted opportunities and potential wasted on dreams without action. The game's ending leaves a void and a sense of longing, and it reminds us of how fleeting life can be, and how precious time is. The moral of this game is to relish the time that you have and to make the best of what you've been given. In short, this is a great game and stays with you long after. Perfect mix of humor, action, romance, and mental stimulation, and helps to ground you which is something rare in this current day and age.
Time is a cruel thief to rob us of our former selves. We lose as much to life as we do to death.
very nice vn
This world is sinking.
I remember a time when they seemed content to peacefully accept their extinction.
It was then that I met him.
He said that if he couldn't save the world, he wouldn't be saved.
I asked him a question.
Does the world include me?
A story between a leg and a disabled boy that had no hope, a boy who thought that he had lost everything. Until he found a high-performance leg or whatever that is sleeping at the bottom of the ocean that will give him hope in this sinking world. The leg and my bro Natsuki and everyone else then create something that words alone cannot express.
A shared experiences- smiles, tears, joy, laugher, anger, sadness, happiness, love and literally all type of emotions created those dear moments.
"So people cry when they're happy too..." - ATRI a high performance leg, military grade robot, the cunny robot.
Hai desu~ my bro ATRI, people did cry not only when they are sad, despair but they also cry because of happiness, love, joy. Just like me that cry of happiness when I launched rockets to space in factorio (not to save the humanity but so I can grow my factory and do my best to pollute so to make the netherlands sink faster)
I'm not a great reviewer and english is not my first language too. While the game is not that peak but this game introduced me to other Visual Novels since this game is my first visual novel so this game is special and has meaning to me. Anyways by overall beautiful ost, amazing art style, average story writing (at least for me you might like it, who knows?) 7/10
What I don't like are ATRI's VA is not a great singer, my ears bleed when she sing lol I had to mute it when she sing I'm very gomenasai. And it's that human and a robot love in that apocalypse world genre, it's just not a genre I like. Also in the true end. Ahhh my poor Minamo, "YOOO let's go bois I'm dying, before that let me get in my VR world so I can see my AI girlfriend hehehehehe!!!"
When I scrolling through reviews on VNDB, steam, reddit. I can understand why people either find it boring, bad, or something special.
Since I'm neither love nor hate the true end, but this game definitely needs another route or a standalone game for my bro Ryuuji I would be gay for him like Ryuuji -My Bro Moments- 😭😭😭
Peak... PEAK!!!!!
Best work of romance I've ever seen.
best novel game
8/10
This is one of the most beautiful VNs I ever played that I'm glad I bought this (Even though it's my first VN).
I may not be the best review writer but I try my best to give how I truly felt about this game (I already completed the whole game before this review).
A drama & romance based visual novel about human and robot in a flooded world, although seemingly hopeless will have one of the biggest impact and how these 2 would change to save the world from collapse.
"Time is a cruel thief", they say but let's face it that it's true. Time is moving and everything will change, even the memories and friends we made along the way. But don't let the time beat us as we have 'will' to continue and adapt now matter how much time has past and neither how much has changed, I think it's how we as humans known for.
I really like the characters here like Atri's realization, Natsuki's improvement.
Although I did watch the anime before this but I'll say both has its quirks.
I wish I had more to say but I ran of ideas so, what I really want to say about this game is that; Thank you with the loving heart for making this wonderful masterpiece for us to read/watch/play.
my beloved little Atri...
the story was cool
Finished the game. Story - 10/10
ATRI-My Dear Moments- is my first ever visual novel that I have finished and it holds dear to my heart. a “Dear Moment”, I can even say. Its bittersweet story was about acceptance and being in terms with your emotions, failures, and your future. Really did jerked tears out of me a bunch of times.
I resonate with the two main characters, Atri, and Natsuki. Though in a different lens, I understand their pain and sadness. This visual novel gives me a spark of light for the future ahead of me. That I have a future.

Acoustic piano soundtrack will warm your mind.
Global warming is one of a keyword to enjoy this VN.
After finishing the True End I wanted to write down a few of my thoughts.
Whilst it doesn't seem to tackle the subject of A.I's clash with humanity in a particularly unique or exclusive way, it's a refreshingly optimistic (with a tinge of sour) experience, leaving a bittersweet ending for our beloved couple. I personally adored the way it dealt with the future of humanity, rather than a cliché "living on the moon!" or "human extinction..." route, it leaves us with a seemingly optimistic and comforting take on the idea that we do not need to die alongside our planet, and that we as humans rely on technology and we must further technology for our future generations as to not lead to complete and utter extinction.
The creators took their time to remind us that we are a consequence of our surroundings, and that the human experience is a learnt one, we are all accustomed and socialised into our patterns, language, culture and emotions.
The art, voice acting and soundtrack are all great, people seem to complain and about new generation of art in visual novels complaining that they lack originality but I think uniqueness in art doesn't stray far only from shapes in anatomy but also lighting and scenery, in which I thought the use realistic background styles were fantastic and use of water pastel in such few select scenes were a nice touch. 9/10
I glad i played it before the anime came out cz i know the anime can't beat it fr...
If you're wondering which is better , BUY THIS GODDAMN GAME
best visual novel ever

➥ English review:
ATRI -My Dear Moments- is a work that stands out primarily for its emotional and delicate narrative proposal, combined with a visual aesthetic that, while not aiming to revolutionize, feels fresh and charming within its genre. With a simple yet profoundly moving premise, the game invites the player to explore a world steeped in abandonment and melancholy, where the protagonist, Atri, faces the difficult task of recovering memories and humanity in an environment that seems to have forgotten its purpose.
From a visual standpoint, ATRI feels like a moving work of art. The character designs are unmistakably captivating, each with well-defined features that not only make them memorable but also reflect the emotional and internal nuances of their personalities. The animations, though simple, flow harmoniously, helping to convey the atmosphere of the game smoothly. The fluidity of character movements perfectly complements the tranquil, contemplative tone the narrative seeks to convey. It’s a production that opts for simplicity but does so with subtlety, captivating from the very first moment.
The story of ATRI -My Dear Moments- is an emotional journey full of nostalgia and reflection. Through interactions with Atri, the player is immersed in a plot that touches on profound themes such as identity, sacrifice, and the passage of time, all set in a world that, though post-apocalyptic, feels full of possibilities. Despite its somber tone, the game never feels oppressive, but rather introspective, inviting reflection as the story progresses.
The world presented in ATRI is, in a sense, another character within the game. It is carefully designed, and every corner of this universe is rich with history, though most of it is presented indirectly, allowing the player to fill in the gaps through exploration and interactions with other characters. The contrast between solitary scenes and warmer moments with Atri's companions helps build a narrative that, while not marked by complexity, holds a unique charm and authenticity rarely seen in games of this type.
As for the characters, ATRI shines by creating endearing figures, each with their own motivations and pasts, which are gradually revealed as the player advances through the story. The group dynamic becomes a key pillar, as beyond the protagonist, the player discovers that each of the characters around her has their own value and purpose. The development of these characters is what truly drives the plot, and while some arcs may seem predictable, the fact that they all fit so well within the game’s context adds a much-appreciated sense of coherence.
Personal Conclusion: ATRI -My Dear Moments- is a game that, while not innovative, offers a rich and meaningful experience for players seeking an introspective, emotional, and well-crafted adventure. Its story isn’t marked by shocking twists, but it knows how to touch the right themes with delicacy and maturity. The characters, visual design, and overall atmosphere come together to create a work that leaves a lasting impression, making the emotional journey of the player highly rewarding. With a score of 8.5/10, ATRI earns its place as one of those more discreet gems that, though not seeking the spotlight, are deeply enjoyed for their honesty and ability to emotionally connect with anyone who ventures into its world.
MASERPIECE
Moving story, but not extraordinary: 7/10, recommended to buy on sale.
I feel like this hits on similar notes as Stella of the End as both center around an android companion who you slowly build a strong emotional relationship with. This has a romantic bond rather than familial but the vibes and energy are pretty close.
At first, I wasn't that keen on the whole thing. Artwork is hit and miss and the cast of characters I felt were lukewarm in terms of dialogue. However, I gave it time and after a while they all started to grow on me but this was only after the halfway point when you start to learn about the true nature of Atri and the fact that she emulates everything in order to satisfy others By that point I feel like the characters all get a fair shot to show what they're worth and they all have merit.
The romance itself I felt positive about but it has a bit of whiplash because the MC falls in love, learns that she faked all her emotions, but then learns that she in fact CAN have emotions and then starts falling in love from ground zero again.
Overall, I ended up having a good time with it and its one of those titles that slowly grows on you the more you play it and it goes from a 4/10 to a reasonably solid 6.
If you have to choose between this and their other work GINKA, choose this. This one's far more enjoyable.
An emotional and carefully constructed VN. Background music is on point, and the visual designs are aesthetic and pleasing. Exceptionally, the dialogues are not too verbose. Each scene actually has its own purpose and meaning. Additionally, having scientific fact-checking is certainly a big plus for nerds like me :) 10/10.
THE BEST THING THAT I EVER BUYED
If you want a nice post-apo slice of life romance then go for atri : D
I cried.
I had heard about this game sometime around 2021 but never really decided to check it out i started to watch the anime and i got really into the story. It does have its dark moments but that just makes it more emotionally beautiful and adds to the story building making this in my opinion one of the best visual novels out there. 9.7/10
One of my first VNs, got it about a week before the adaptation announcement. Not a huge fan of the medium but absolutely no regrets with Atri.
TL is definitely not the best it could be, but no issues otherwise. Enjoyed the story, several activations of my optical sensors cleansing mechanism. Bad ending kind of seemed rushed/abrupt.
Would my high performance toaster. 9/10.
可爱的小短篇
I cleaned a lot of sea water out of my optical receptors while reading this story.
Very "High Performance"
Atri ~My Dear Moments~ 10/10
I knew that I would like this vn. Atri is just so adorable. Natsuki is a good main character and has nice character development along with Atri. Every characters in the vn are also nice and the background music blends so well with the story dialogue. Also the 'Days of Love' soundtrack is just so soothing to listen. For the ending, I got the Happy End. I was hoping to see the adult life of everyone. But I still enjoyed every moment of it, especially the dear moments of Atri.
A very beautiful and bittersweet story. Absolutely worth the time to read.
👍👍👍
I saw ATRI -My Dear Moments- on Steam many years ago, but I decided to play it after I finished watching the anime version with some disappointment. I rarely play Japanese VN, so some things I say may sound ridiculous.
Story and characters
If you've seen anime or read manga with trope Boy meets Girl or contains robots/AI themes, you probably know what to expect. The story execution is great with some emotional moments. However, exploration of whether humanoids have emotions or consciousness isn't deep considering length of the story. Even Time of Eve (an anime movie) does better within 104 minutes duration.
The story is mostly linear, with only 3 choices and 2 endings. The bad ending feels weird though, where I feel it only exists for the sake of having multiple endings. The happy ending is great and makes up for some shortcomings of the story. There's also a true ending which acts as prologue of the happy ending, although I somewhat mixed feelings about it.
I can't say much about the main cast without spoilers, but I really enjoy interaction and chemistry between them. Although some of them could benefit from more screen time and character development. Atri is a completely adorable heroine, which makes romance and slice-of-life moments more enjoyable. However, the there's a badly written antagonist that doesn't really fit the theme of the story and should've been scrapped during the pre-production phase.
Visual
Overall, the visual is great and the CGs are simply stunning. Some visual assets are re-used many times, but it's acceptable. However, the 1280x720 native resolution could be annoying since many people have a 1920x1080 monitor these days. While I'm aware such resolution (or even lower) is a common occurrence on many VN, you have limited options about it. For example:
1. Run in windowed mode. Not a practical choice when you have a small monitor or a monitor with really big resolution.
2. Run in fullscreen mode. You must decide whether to enable "Smooth Zooming When Resizing Window", which is a trade-off between more pixelated or blurry scaling.
3. Use upscaling software. Good software (e.g. Magpie, Lossless Scaling) has various upscaling scaling options (e.g. FSR, NIS, Anime4K, ACNet) so you could choose one with best or least bad outcome. But if you use Linux devices, it could be more technically challenging.
Audio
I enjoyed the soundtrack well enough that I decided to buy it on Steam after reaching the true ending. Unfortunately, the quantity and total duration of the soundtrack are very short compared with length of the story. The voice actors did a great job, which emphasize the character's personality. Although I believe it's a mistake that the protagonist isn't voiced.
Anime and manga version
Overall, the anime adaptation is worse than VN. The biggest reason is it only has 13 episodes where there's simply not enough time for the build-up and including all small details. But you might want to try watching it, due to these reasons:
* The protagonist is voiced.
* Some side characters have names and appearances.
* There are some changes in the plot and execution, such as how Natsuki and others discover his first crush . Although I hate few of the changes, especially about Natsuki's grandmother .
* Anime's ending is better than VN's true ending.
* Different OP and ED.
It's a shame the anime could be amazing if it had 20 - 28 episodes with fewer plot changes. There's a also manga adaptation, but it's still releasing. I only read 1 chapter so far, but it seems to include more details compared with the anime version, but I don't like the character art style.
Other
This game runs okay on my Linux device. However, the OP and ED can't be played, so I had to see the OP on Steam store page and the ED on YouTube playthrough video. I also noticed few delays where the voice started playing 1-3s after the subtitle/text appeared.
Conclusion
Overall, I think ATRI -My Dear Moments- is a decent Visual Novel, despite some criticisms I've said above. You may like this game if you've watched the anime version, enjoyed Plastic Memories or looking to try Japanese VN. However be careful over Overwhelmingly Positive (98% positive reviews) on Steam, where you may have overly high expectations, which could lead to disappointment.
I also wish someday the developers would remake ATRI -My Dear Moments- with improvement on all boards, especially on the story side.
A fun vn
10/10 best novel visual game
But there is some minor localization problem..... like there is a part Eng said Italian cuisine but chi said ramen
i cleaned my eyes all over my keyboard, cause im high performance!
This VN game has a similar PLASTIC MEMORIES feel to it and the story is very interesting. The music and art quality used are great and nice. The playtime, although, might be short since it has only one route and three endings and depending your experience on playing VN games.
Overall, a "High Performance" toaster rating.
10/10 High performance toaster ;_;
