I wouldn't expect the traditional South Park games we've been used to. This is certainty a change, and after you get over that expectation it is an alright game. I enjoyed the the humor and the game play and combat was mindless.

It's better to buy South Park: The Fractured but Whole. Better story, better gameplay and it takes more time to finish. This game is ok if you what to play with friends

Not as story-rich as the other South Park games but the co-op factor makes up for it. Play it with friends, play it on the highest difficulty and set various challenges to maximise the fun & replayability.

I like the game i like how each level ends with a boss and has something different then the last level sometimes the graphics are also nice.

Alot of fun with and without other players. try out different combinations of short and long range weapons and find the ones you like. Fart next to your friends and find out the mystery of the never ending Snow Day.

This is just a hack-and-slash combat game, not an RPG. The Stick of Truth was one of the best games ever. But this is nothing like it and is not fun to play -- there's basically no "South Park" content, just a basic combat game. It feels like Matt and Trey weren't even involved. There are basically no jokes, there's very little story, and the combat isn't fun. I'm a huge South Park fan but I'm not going to be able to finish this; it's just not enjoyable.

I would get a refund if i could.

1. The entire game can be beaten in just a couple hours (only 5 levels)
2. the upgrade tree is very minimal
3. hard mode isnt very hard.
4. the amount of cosmetics that would help a game like this to be fun are extremely minimal.
5. voice acting sounds like they made no attempt at all.
6. story line is not very in depth
7. the amount of weapons/classes you can use are minimal.

I love south park and ive enjoyed all of their other games. if you are a big fan im sure the game will be worth something to you. but from a gamer aspect, the game just is not worth buying.

this is way too short and it's a rather shit story. it took me around 3 hours to complete the story. This is a redo.

I really, really wish I could recommend this game - I loved South Park TSOT & TFBW, but seriously, this one isn't great.

I enjoyed the graphics and 3d aspect, regardless that it’s not in line with the south park look. I do wish I would be able to explore the town of south park more. The gameplay was very repetitive but I did have fun at times. I believe this was mostly due to playing with someone else. The major problem I have is this felt nothing like south park. South Park was notorious for pushing the limit and this is the most watered-down south park has gone. Unfortunately, I don’t think Matt or Trey had any actual writing or input with the game. No funny south park humor. it seems to me it was made to be as safe as possible from anyone whining about it being offensive. Basically, South Park but with no humor. Thankfully I got it on a huge sale, which I what I recommend to anyone still considering playing.

Usual South Park comedy and Gameplay.

compared to the other south park games, that I loved btw, this one is scks. this game style doesnt fit tho the south park feeling in my opinion. I rly would ve loved to write something good about this game but i cant. since i downloaded it, I played 9,4 hours and it bored me so i left while the other 2 games have been played out many times. I hope the next sp game will be much like the first two one not like this, if there will be next game.

As a recent player to this game the only problem I am experiencing is lack of other players.

Despite some people saying this game is short, it is 5 episodes that run atleast an hour+ long each depending on the level. Each level being snow themed but each having their own specific set of difficulty modifiers that are random though different aspects of the game. Every level ending with a different boss and each having their own fighting mechanics. (At the time of this review they have added more levels as well.)

This the game is a fun multiplayer game where the announcer will comment on the performance of the team along with a decent variety of ways to fight. Snow day also has an endgame about finishing out the lengthy skill tree by collecting points, you can also collect special cosmetics by continuously increasing the difficulty and increasing the rewards mid gameplay. The game is about taking that 1+ hour and evolving yourself as the level progresses, you can choose your weapons and abilities but the upgrades that follow are randomized.

There are no microtransactions.

I like this game and appreciate buying it when it went on sale. Its a tough game solo, so where my shorties @??

The game is fun enough at first, but you'll easily get through the story in a few hours. There's only 5 chapters. The main "replay value" is playing the same 5 levels over & over again with modifiers. It's designed to be played online with other people, but good luck finding a game short of 3 of your friends buying it too. Plus there's barely any if any actual character progression like the past games. Sure there's the Dark Matter abilities, but that's not really all that much & you can't even get all of them. There's only 8 base weapons with 2 alts, so 10 weapons in total & 8 magics. Which at first sound like a lot but quickly just meh. The story is fine enough if not extremely predictable. In short, get this game if you like South Park & you like repetition for no real reward. Otherwise just play Stick of Truth or Fractured but Whole.

South Park Snow Day

Only played 45 minutes and it’s already horribly repetitive. Just awful

Had to put my controller down and have deep thoughts about the 'ASS-ASS-in' card

I can't recommend this.

Unlike the previous 2 South Park games, this game honestly felt very repetitive because the combat is quite boring with nothing in-depth.

In previous games, there were more interactive gameplay involved that was more engaging in terms of "brain work" compared to this which is essentially spamming the mouse buttons with little range of equipment and build choices to make.

I loved their other games, but this game is a mess. It's hard to fathom how a game with so many glitches has DLC. LIke, why make more content when what you have doesn't work? I played for 28 minutes, couldn't defeat one enemy to prgoress the tutorial section. Their health kept going back to full once it hit zero. It was part of the tutorial, there were not instructions on screen suggesting he had to be defeated in a specific way, so all I can do is assume it was a glitch. The mechanics are also clunky and illogical for no apparent reason.

Steam refused my refund because it was just outside of their 2 week policy, despite the fact that I hadn't played it until today. Been having medical issues, haven't been able to do much, so tried it today hoping to have fun and relax. Waste of money. I bought it as a gift for my GF as well. Steam declined that one even though she hadn't played it at all. Very disappointing and won't be buying games on Steam for a while as a result. I've been a long time player on steam, have asked for a refund twice. Lame.

Avoid this game, at least until the reviews turn around and they actually make it playable.

Even the N64 South Park game is way better than whatever the heck this thing is trying to be.
It feels unpolished and unfinished. I've played demos longer and better than this full released "game".
Buy only on sale or better yet, buy something else.

While it's not expected follow-up to the two previous South Park games in recent years. This game is a great time with some friends, get while on sale! :)

If it wasn't SouthPark I would have refunded. Terribly balanced, Boring hack and slash mechanics, upgrades make no sense, lots of DLC's that shouldn't be dlc's. All I see is a money grab with a weebit of SouthPark humour. Very Dissapointed.

The other games they made are better this one is just straight up trash

Played and loved 27 hours and 36 hours of SoT and FBH so I made the mistake of buying this without reading about it. Not the kind of game I was looking for. They at least made rebindable keys so that's a plus I guess.

I bought the game on the release day and I never touched it since the end of the march!
It's the worst south park game there is. I finished the game in two days (it was too boring to play it in one go)
I haven't seen if they added new things cause I simply don't care about it anymore! All I see from the devs are new DLC's that should be just a free update to the game.

the worst hack and slash imagineable. very few "classes, short, and sometimes game breaking invincible enemies.

Of all the things that suck balls about this game one of the biggest is the lack of manual saves combined with the time between auto-saves.
Don't start playing any mission unless you have at LEAST 30 minutes.
Absolutely do not recommend.

It's really not bad at all, but not amazing don't get me wrong. Yes the game play is a little repetitive and the whole game feels underwhelming considering the last two games (SOT, TFBW).

But that being all said, for me it's the charm in the crappy 2D to 3D art style and the comedy from the show that makes me think this game is worth your time.

Got the game on sale. It is pretty challenging solo and would probably be really fun with others/friends and the humor of it is on par with the other south park titles. I would recommend this game.

The Game is very short for the price, but worst of all its repetitively boring and lacks the same humour as stick of truth and fractured but whole. Same basic task over and over, fight through two or 3 levels, then the boss. Secondly, there is no check point system,and if you die at a boss, you have to redo the entire level which is annoying and doesn't help with the repetitiveness. This is not a patch on SOT or FBW.

wanted to like this game so bad but mannn idk what they were thinking and how they screwed up this bad. only buy this if its on sale for like $2.99. Last two games were soooo much better and I dont even like turn based combat. HUGE disappointment this game....

It's not worth the money they want for it, but if it were on sale then maybe. Personally stick and fractured are way better than whatever the hell this is. The story is extremely short maybe like 4 hours long at best and the ending sucked ass, but that being said definitely wouldn't buy full price, but I bought it because I'm a south park simp.

Great game to get if its on sale!

Took about 7 hrs to beat the campaign on normal. There's still a bunch more for me to do (hard mode, upgrades, achievements and free DLC Horde mode).

-Kind of hard to find a group unless you play with some friends.
-Wish they would add 'pinging' so you could tell others where the good chests are located

Pretty horrible repetitively boring gameplay. Wasn't fun fractured and stick. Swing and a miss. Cash grab. Wouldn't waste money on it

Very disappointed in this game. I expected a lot more with the 2 and 1 of the series. New gameplay/levels and fighting system, thats great, but having 5 chapters which are just 5 minute runs /arena with a boss at the end is lame. The game was super linear with no free world, hardly any cutscenes and a very short plot/story.

the gameplay is fine, but the story is beyond bad. comparing it to the first two, its no where near on par with anything south park. i dont know how to put it into words, its the greatest disappointment ive had with games, i was really excited about this one.

Fun game, aiming could use some work. Short game by today's standers but still captured the nature of south park. I was laughing.

Personally the people rating this game all have too much shit in their brain, the game is firstly new and secondly its so epic and i tell you here why:
1. Good Combat
2.Crazy Roguelike style which gives alot different playstyles and 50 hours of content atleast
3. The humor is great
4. Stop crying about a sick game with coop
5.Get buff and lick my nuts!

The stick of truth and the fractured buttwhole were way better games, the balance is trash, the dlc is broken and the games story is boring. I love south park but this ones a miss, dont spend your money on it

I've finished the game and then some and will probably keep playing to get my thirteen dollars worth, but I'm really just not having fun.

I like Snow Days but this game is INSANELY short with the dlc and to play all classes see all content took me 45 hours. I only play on the hardest difficulty just keep this is mind when I saw this indie game but.... the other south park games are just better
