The game captures the look, feel and atmosphere of the books quiet well with attention to detail and this is the main reason to recommend the game for fans of Enki Bilal's work who have a thirst to play a game inspired by that work.
The game is an old school linear point a click adventure with many ways to die with some scenes requiring quick thinking with no time to ponder. You will probably die several times before figuring out what needs to be done (not to worry you have the option restart moments before your death).
Alas the game was fairly short leaving you with the desire for a larger and longer game. Though I suppose that is due to its age when you were limited to the space of a CD-ROM.
One is hopeful of a future game that gives true justice to Enki Bilal's fantastic 'Nikopol Trilogy' meanwhile you can enjoy this game as a taster of the possibilities.
In terms of value for money, unless you are an eager fan, it is best waiting for it to appear on sale.
I had the absolute divine pleasure of playing this game when I was very young.
It must've been from a CD, although I don't think I have it anymore.
Of course, when you're a child, everything is amplified by emotions and just being a child.
My goodness, this is one of the most intriguing and original cyberpunk pieces I've ever seen.
It's so shaky and awkward, whether it be the voice acting or the animations or the general picture, but it tries so much to get an interesting premise across the table.
And it worked for me.
And I love it for that.
I'm probably going to try to read Enki Bilal's triology this game is based on.

After about ten minutes of game play, you get the feeling that this game is going nowhere.
