"looK INside - Chapter 1" is a casua point&click puzzle game in which you find a book in the attic. You play as Manon, who discovers the past of her family members through their memories, their gestures, their quirks and their little secrets.
I liked the gamemechanics, i found it a bit sad that there were no hints cuz i got stuck-
The Artstyle and music was very fitting, i really liked it.
It took me around 3.2 hours to finish it with all achievements. I had to replay it but that was okay. There are a few achievements were you have to search around but thats how games like this work.
I got the game for 1,39€ on sale which is pretty good, i would have bought it for the full price.
The game is nice, try it out! I will look out for the next chapters.
The game has an overall friendly vibe. If you're looking for a gentle narrative that allows you to uncover things in a clever and thought-provoking manner while maintaining a playful atmosphere, then brew yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea and relax with "LooK INside".
Incredibly frustrating game. Easy to mis-click, unintuitive controls and far too little direction, even for a poke-around-and-explore-at-your-own-pace-game. Pretty buggy, and the story and information made some very big leaps. Auto-completed at the end. Do not recommend.
looK INside - Chapter 1 is a very good point & click game where you play as a girl named Manon who find a book of his family. You interact with pictures and page to know more about her family. The puzzles are quite simples and cool, the ambiant is cozy and the graphics are nice. It worth it and for his low price, I highly recommend it!!! 💗💗💗

A family story told in the form of art, this game has its own charm with the creative puzzles, hidden objects, and soothing music. I might have enjoyed the puzzles more than the story itself, as I found myself lost and confused many times, trying to figure out who’s who and who we’re tracking. In many ways, that confusion made it hard for me to connect with the story. However, the puzzles kept me going!
looK INside - Chapter 1 is lite point and click puzzle game that won't take up too much of your time. In terms of the story or the motivations behind finding everything, the game revolves around you uncovering layers in the lives of these fictional folks who are probably not too different from you or I. The hand drawn aesthetic is nice, and all of the sounds are pleasing to hear. I did notice a few typos in a few bits of dialogue, but that's not to be Unexpected when it seems like the original language was French. At any rate, this will probably only occupy a little bit of your time, and what you'll take from it really depends more on whether or not you're the type of person who likes a relaxed pace puzzle experience with little in the way of direct goals or if you'd prefer a more time/goal oriented, challenging experience. This game is most certainly in the former category.
I recommend picking this game up on sale and/or as part of a bundle.
man, i love indie games. a lot of personality in this one, very cozy and digestible at your own base kind of game play. very warm story
Nice story with nice puzzles but some bugs are a little frustrating
Nice and short thankfully but it got itself stuck when entering and exiting some of the puzzles. Can accidentally auto complete before you've actually reached the end. I don't think it deserves a thumbs down but it definitely deserves a thumbs sideways.
Cool and chill game, BUT I really dislike games that you have to buy more to be able to continue on with the story. Super annoyed by that. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing the next chapters.
