The game is so relaxing and enjoyable. But the Chinese translation is disgusting, I strongly condemn the localization staff! I'm only halfway through the game and there have already been three translation errors, I can almost be sure that it was intentional.
1.When "I" explained that im not a deliveryman but a deliverywoman, the Chinese translation completely missed the feminist implication and deliberately blurred the meaning.
2.When I drove through the woods and recalled that "this is the place i had my first kiss",the Chinese translate :我的初吻就是在这没的“。In Chinese it means"I LOST my first kiss."
3.When the Mo's dinner owner called "dear" to the man, her words were altered into "bro".

Ok, the game is relaxing and if u wanna get away from everyday life's stress it is very good for it. But i guess the story should've been much more rich. İt took me seversl hours to finish the game. The choice of the dialog is nice.
Endings are nice too. Only objection is game is super short.

Nice Chill and Therapeutic game
Very pretty. Love the mail delivering mechanic and very simple. Not too many controls to keep track of.
Short game (5.8 hours), but worth the €10 I spent on it. It's nothing spectacular and clearly a low budget game, but perfect for getting through a cold, rainy Saturday. I enjoyed it.
Beautiful game! Cosy easygoing mail delivery gameplay with some light dramatic character relationships going on in the main gameplay. Deals with personal emotional issues without going in-your-face or overboard. Both hetero of homosexual relationships are possible, but that is totally up to the player's choices. Highly recommend for the excellent gameplay mechanics, great art design and fun chill play style. If your want an easy, chill time with light story quest, this one is great!
I love the game it's real relaving
If you like games like Firewatch and Gone Home, this is a game for you. It is a mix of roleplaying, walking sim, cosy mail delivering and relaxing driving around a picturesque town.
This game is wonderful! It's so relaxing to just go deliver packages in a small mountain side town. Totally recommend playing this game!

If you like non horror narrative/choose your own adventure games where you can move around a map (not a visual novel) i.e. firewatch, life is strange series, road 96, (especially ones set in a forest,) this is comparable but the story is much more casual and realistic/slice of life, and less eventful. The interactions/story are small town drama and people, like things that could have been encountered irl. The gameplay lasts around 7 hours. Story takes place over 2 weeks.
Pros: Cute stories/relationship building, nice Oregon small town 80's atmosphere, very relaxing game, realistic stories/characters. Cozy game for when it's cold out.
Cons: Mail delivery can get a boring, story can be dull, map is small.

One of my favourite games. The story line is amazing and well written. I love that there are multiple endings and different choice interactions. I am even more excited now that the endless mode has been added. It is what was missing from the game. It's extremely relaxing and I just found myself wanting to keep playing, but once you have completed the game a number of times, it did leave me wanting a mode for just delivering packages. I am so excited about the DLC adding content too, as I desperately wanted more storyline added to this. The voice acting, feel of the game, music and game mechanics make it both relaxing and fun. Top favourite. Love it.

I really love the soundtrack of this game, and have often been listening to the iconic tracks during the day :) Some beautiful, uplifting, contemplative, energising and awesome tunes! Also love the Pacific Northwestern setting. Really cosy, refreshing and fun game!
Fun and chill
This was a very nice and relaxing game, not a lot of gameplay, but still just a super nice chill game! I found myself playing this mostly in the early morning and late at night to relax. I also love how much freedom this game had with the choices. Just a fun and charming game! I can’t really complain.
A very narrative driven game with hardly any gameplay. The voice acting is good, you can make a lot of decisions in dialogs and the character's future. It's a neat little indie game, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
The mechanics are pretty much: Go from A to B (i.e. deliver letters and packages) and deal with NPC chatting you up. I also ran into a few minor bugs (character clipping into the terrain, camera clipping into buildings), but nothing serious and no crashes.
I'd be interested in the kinds of decisions other players make and how they react to meeting Meredith's friends and acquaintances.
The game ran well on my SteamDeck.
I have played through the game three times. I've picked each ending, so I could see the differences. I've picked all dialog choices. It's an enjoyable experience. It can be emotional, funny, and relaxing even. It's simple, yet easy to fall in love with. A few tiny bugs I found, but nothing to really complain about. And just a tip, if you like to back in, to make your deliveries at some places, don't forget to leave yourself space to retrieve your packages. I managed to get Meredith stuck, and my auto save "saved" with her stuck behind the truck between it and a rail. Luckily I had a package to deliver still and I used it to keep wiggling my way out from behind the truck. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience. Got the DLC, because I enjoyed the main story so much, and played it all in one sitting.. Enjoyed it just as much if not more than the original. Except why does Meredith's Dad walk the same as her? Anyway it's a fun game, easy, enjoyable, and if you enjoy delivering mail, you can do so endlessly after you complete your story!

Highly addicting. In the best way. I love this game!
Lake proves you don't need world-ending threats or epic, grand-scale battles to provide a compelling story. Despite being a game solely about delivering mail in a quiet town, what stays with you after the credits roll are the relationships you form and the time spent simply existing in the cozy Providence Oaks.
Though not without its flaws, Lake is certainly worth a playthrough if you want a short and relaxing break from AAA releases or simply cherish those peaceful moments in the countryside.

The only thing I would mention is that the dialogue/character models are sometimes a little buggy but it really doesn't matter. The point of the game is that it's cosy, relaxed, and small-town vibes. I loved playing it, the music on the radio is so perfect for the game and the story lines are so sweet. If you just want to play something that doesn't hurt your brain and makes you feel like you want to pack your bags, move to the country, and be a postal worker: (niche but okay) this is for you!

Loved everything about this game. It's super cozy and I just downloaded the DLC. Going to play that soon and I'm super excited about it.
Honestly, I was a little unsure of this game at first so I tried the demo and fell in love with it. I bought the game and although I finished it in a few hours and the game is a little buggy at times, I absolutely loved it! It's so calming and I enjoyed the story very much. The music on the radio was so sweet and it added to the atmosphere. I highly recommend this game for the story and the visuals. The voice acting was pretty good too! I wish the story was a bit longer but I still had a good time playing!
It was fun. I definitely would not pay full price for it, I got it on sale. It was not as immersive as I was led to believe and I didn't feel that my choices actually did anything substantial. There were also several things that were left unanswered... But fun and mind numbing.

The game is not that bad, but it really lacks a lot of stuff.
The gameplay is pretty poor delivering is very boring, and they even added a mod to autodrive, which is like half the game, it's almost confessing the bad design. We needed more features with deliveries and make it a bit more enjoyable.
I would have appreciated some exploration or hiking, because there's a whole island, but you can't explore anything, the game will just teleport you back on the road if you try to go out the way of delivering.
There are still a few bugs, people and cars disappearing, sound cutting in dialogs and some animations not triggering.
The story was a bit too simple and cliché, but they managed to make the final choice pretty difficult to make. Not an awful game, but it got a bit boring, even though I got to the end.
Lovely relaxing game. To be honest I wish it was longer! The story and characters are great. I will say the storyline with romancing Angie was a bit disappointing. I wont spoil it here but its very sudden and the chose to be with her doesn't match how I wanted to end the game.
This game looked super cute. It unfortunately isn't. It's unpolished. The ground looks like they took a gravel/grass brush and just swept it over and over and over when you drive around. I watched a bird blink out of existence. The packaging on some of the fake products look like they could be AI. I wanted something new to try and this just wasn't it. Reading the negative reviews because the game wouldn't even load the first time I opened it and then kept having weird graphical glitches in the title screen.
This game is a visual novel with 2 options of dialog when you speak to people and a mail delivery mini game. I requested a refund. I hope they put more work into it and not only polish it up but add more substance.

I want to start off by saying that this game is not for everyone. The slower pace and basic gameplay aren't for everyone, but if you love a good, wholesome story, it's for you. If you want a simple relaxing game at the end of the day, it's for you. It's just a simple slice of life, and yet it feels so beautifully made!
It’s funny to think that after a full day at work, I’m jumping into the role of a delivery girl in a quaint little town. There’s something oddly funny about it, and it often makes for great conversation starters with friends and coworkers. The game beautifully captures the essence of small-town life, reminding me of my own experiences living in a similar community. I’m grateful to the creators for crafting such a heartfelt experience.

This is a really cozy narrative game that genuinely got me very relaxed while playing it. The graphics are really beautiful. The combination between the cutscenes and the mail delivery was just a perfect cozy experience. Since there are different outcomes, it has some replayability as well and you also have the endless mode now. At time there were some visual glitches and some cutscenes had a discrepancy between the subtitles and what was actually said. But hopefully those get resolved soon.
