Fun, relaxing, and interesting, too! Great photography.
It satisfies the craving to build puzzles.
I love how flexible the settings are for different types of play
Good puzzle engine that allows you to snap pieces together before fixing them permanently. Limited to 800 pieces, but I guess that's gotta be enuff. With a whole ton of puzzles, plus a large number of free stuff unlocked with in-game coins. What's not to like?
pucle a opice dlc 10/10 oPice sou dobry
My daughter recommended me to these jigsaws. I think they are the best thing ever. I can keep a nice clear, tidy table with no half done jigsaws waiting to be finished. No pieces getting knocked onto the floor. And, best of all, my cat can't play with the pieces and mess the whole thing up while my back is turned. Iv'e got rid of all my real jigsaws.
I've played this game for over 68 hours and really enjoy it - it's nice to wind down with at the end of the day. The only things that I don't particularly like about the game are the fact that some of the puzzles aren't particularly inspiring - by that I mean I wouldn't buy them in proper jigsaw form as they aren't interesting enough to do - I realise this is just a personal choice and many other people would probably feel differently about this. I've also found that the background used in the game tends to distort the colours of the pieces and makes them difficult to identify at times - for instance - if you are doing a blue sky and looking for a darker blue piece the background image might make it look lighter than it is. The thing I find most annoying about the game (and I suspect this may have been done deliberately to make the game either harder or last longer) is the jumbled pieces on each side of the main jigsaw area - if you sort them and then close the puzzle for any reason then when you re-open the puzzle they are all jumbled up again - really annoying.
All of these issues aside - I still play and enjoy the game very much, I play it nearly every day and have learned to adapt to the issues I have mentioned. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes jigsaws and just wanted to warn about what are really minor annoyances. Just an additional note: unexpectedly one of the game developers replied to my review and said that it is possible to change the background colour in the options - I have tried this and it does definitely improve things. Nice of them to take the time to do that. They didn't mention the jumbling of the pieces at the sides of the puzzle each time the game loads so I guess this must actually be a feature to make the game just that more difficult - I can live with that.
I liked that you can change the amount of pieces.
I didn't like the fact that it doesn't give you the option about turning pieces.
But, overall it was a good puzzle!
Easy to function, nice content. Only thing I don't like is if you exit before finishing only the pieces in the 7 bars stay organized. Anything around the frame gets messed up again so make sure to plan to keep it open or organize into the trays.
So far I am really enjoying this game. I love the variety of puzzles that are available.
I only have 2 suggestions to make it more enjoyable.
1. Instead of the screen moving where ever the mouse is, I would like to be able to click on the background and drag the screen where I need it.
2. Save piece location when the game is closed. I have had to close the game before I finished the puzzle. Before I closed the game, my pieces were neatly sorted on the sides and in the trays. When I come back they are randomly placed on the sides.
I like the options and the colorful scenes.
great game as it takes you away from a stress filled life just for few hours would recommend
Nothing like building puzzles!
While this game leaves much to be desired, it's still the best jigsaw puzzle game I have found and it does the job.
There are few disappointing aspects, such as:
* No ability to select a custom image, as that would defeat the whole point of the DLCs
* Existing images are mostly low-resolution, sometimes the artifacts or pixelation are noticeable even on a standard 1920x1200 screen
* There is no truly large puzzle option, e.g. a 2,000 piece puzzle that can be done over many days
Frankly, just using higher resolution imagery would significantly raise the value of this game in my view.
Other than that though, as I mentioned, it's the best jigsaw puzzle game that I know of. It has good controls, it's easy to use and manage pieces, it auto-saves incomplete puzzles, and has some other small nifty features. It's perfect for finding something to do that requires little concentration, while listening to a podcast and such.
I've played other jigsaw puzzle games before and have not been impressed. Super Jigsaw has done justice to the pastime, however. No lost pieces, no dining room table held hostage while you sort pieces into paper bowls. There is one caveat: the larger your monitor, the better.
Press a button and all of your border pieces are instantly visible. There's another nice feature: if you're dragging pieces around, they will lock into place onto the board, even when there are no other pieces nearby. It's not always 100% but it works most of the time.
The puzzle box gives you 8 temporary storage boxes to allow segregation according to color. You can construct puzzles from 200, 400, 600...all the way up to 1,500. 400 is just about right. You really need a large monitor to take advantage of the higher count puzzle. I'm running on a 43-inch 4K monitor, and a 1,500-piece puzzle is a bit too overwhelming. Still, if you've got the patience, JP gives a lot of bang for your buck. There is plenty of DLC, much of it at no cost. The DLC you can buy is very affordable.
I love having the 7 tabs at the bottom and space on both sides to sort out the pieces for easy access!!!
This is a fun game! It runs really smoothly. A good amount of puzzles come with each DLC, and it's much cheaper than a real puzzle. Bonus: my cats can't eat the pieces!
pretty decent puzzle game, mechanic to see if puzzle pieces aren't in place, etc. I wish there were sizes between 60 pc and 200 pc puzzles especially bc i have a small monitor and seeing things that small is a little difficult. other than that, a good puzzle game.
one thing they did in the original super jigsaw puzzle was credit the photographers, but i haven't seen that in this version which is a disappointment.
So... I bought a bunch of Super Jigsaw Puzzle games. And then discovered they have a free version that automatically downloads since it shares some of the puzzles with those games. So, not unlike how I ended up with Pixel Puzzles Ultimate. Has some advantages over that title (pieces click together without being in frame). Has at least one disadvantage (Floating pieces make it easier to find the piece you want). Decent game. However, as with PPU, buying all the puzzle packs is likely to wound your wallet...
Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Generations is a wonderful new twist on a favorite past-time activity. No missing pieces, no mess, beautiful puzzle pictures, and wonderful music to go along with it. However, the soundtrack is a bit repetitive, and I find myself doing only one puzzle a day, when I would prefer to listen to the music and do many puzzles, especially on weekends. It is a very relaxing activity, and with the current COVID-19 issues, would be a great family activity An expanded soundtrack of relaxing music would go a long way to making it more appealing to puzzle-lovers. The base price of the game, and the DLC, is also very easy on the budget. These are the types of games that are changing adult points of view toward video/computer games from negative to positive. Hats off to Flat Cat Games!
its a good puzzle game .
