Fighters Legacy is a 1 on 1 INDIE CASUAL combat game. No flashy over the top effects, just good old fashioned fisticuffs!
This is a indie passion project that was made soon after I finished working on Shaolin Vs Wutang. It is not my intention to provide the same experience as big budget fighting games. But rather I hope to provide players with a satisfying gaming experience blended with nostalgic old school fun. It is being released in early access so i can get valuable support and feedback in order to help the game reach its full potential.
With the help of the community we can create the best game possible!

GREAT GAME. Its common think that games from new company games is not so good, but its not true. This game confirms this.
Very good graphic, good playability, fun, a lot of moves and characteres. APPROVED!
Such a cool concept. I wish there were more hand-to-hand fighting games that have characters based on traditional fighting styles. It reminds me of the 2000 game Buriki One. For an indie game, the animation and creativity is great. I love the wardrobe customization too. Hoping to see either a next installment or an update to this version!
If the creators wanted to emulate the feel of old Kung Fu movies - they nailed it!
This game is junky in a very good and charming way.
Also, this game is THE footsies game.
Why its still in early access? Release it as a full game, after fixing the white loading screen, hurts the eyes lol
Graphics and different fighting styles are nice. Definite influence of the old Bruce Lee and other martial arts movies of the time period. There is potential here. Unfortunately the controls are a bit on the stiff side. Worse is that the AI even on the easiest setting will constantly block and counter your attacks. Worth getting if on sale. Otherwise, there are better options.
I was searching for Virtua Fighter or similar games on Steam and I found THIS PURE GOLD MASTERPIECE!!!!
The game is very simple to play, dynamic and the difficult is very well adjusted. Fighters, stages and music are very well done!! You can see that there is a lot of effort in this game. Also you can customize the look of the fighters and the single fight mode is also available!!! That´s awesome!!!
Cons: I don´t know why but we are in the year 2022 and this game is still in EA. If I were the developer I would seriously consider to polish/finish the game. Would be great if the developer adds more skins/items to customize the fighters

I love this game, please add more fighters into the game. Also add more clothing option for male & female characters like DOA5LR beach wear. I need block and dodge button, add grappling & counter grappling too. Since this is PC platform game, it shouldn't be hard for you to add 4 more buttons (2 for dodge, 1 for grapple/counter grapple, 1 for block). If dodge is too hard for you to modify, then just add grapple & block.
Fighters Legacy is another fantastic tribute to classic martial arts movie action scenes!
Choose from 15 unique characters, each of which has a similarity to real life martial arts fighters as well as their associated fighting style and the attacks associated with those styles.
Also in the audiovisual field, the game does not spare us and we can enjoy a great combo of appropriate music/sounds with very high quality environments.
Unfortunately there is no online mode available but you do have the option to use remote play together on steam.

GTX 970, lowest graphic settings and you get only 32 FPS. Seriously?
Even MK, Tekken, SF and other fightings gives me 60 FPS on medium settings.
Also characters are not interesting.

after i have finished arcade mode for 2 times
i think i should recommend this game
not only the not so bad graphic and easily understanding system
but free-chain combo system amazes me too
i can use the muay thai make a 11 hits combo by just a simple input
it really remind me of 10-hits combos in Tekken series
but it still got some lag when i were fighting
it quite annoy me
overall it is still playable !!

I enjoy playing this game a lot. It is a bare bones fight game. No special moves or attacks. Just plain fight techniques. This game has different martial arts styles. Also characters like the ones in martial arts movies.
A great introduction to fighting games for scrubs like me, with awesome, no-frills 80's Bruce Lee movies flair (+animation to match).
As of the date of this review however -a year after its release in EA- this one appears to be unfortunately forgotten and abandoned by the dev, who has many other projects running in parallel.
Not as good as the other games. It does have the best graphics and character customization though. I hoped the game would get better during EA but it seems the next game is already on the horizon.
Having been a major fan of Shaolin Vs. Wutang Vs. The World, I found a home with this game. As with Shaolin Vs. Wutang, the martial arts depiction is solid, maybe even more so than previously. The fighting mechanic is a little bit different, but the same in regards to it being easy to grasp. People who don't frequent fighting games very much should have little trouble picking this up and learning any fighter. Combat is responsive an satisfying, especially when you figure out how to string along each character's combos. Colorful, lively stages, a killer independent soundtrack, and 15 playable characters that will scream familiarity to old- school Martial Arts film fans. If you enjoyed Shaolin Vs. Wutang, grab this game! Mr. Jae Lee has taken what he's built in that game and made it even better! As of this review, the game is still in Alpha stages, but if it looks and feels this good early- on, one can only assume it will only get better from here!
I see potential in this game what i would like to see
-improve animations:the characters move a bit clunky,but with a little tweek it can be smooth as hell
-more character customization:like tekken
-character movelist:this one is more of a complain,but i want more movelist wether is more punches,kicks,grabs,or specials i just want more also i want see my movelist i kept spaming until i found out how to do this move and that move so please it would be nice if i see a movelist
-online:i dont need to explain myself on this one
Conclusion:this game is fun and i see potential
This game is currently unstable and laggy on early access state, the gameplay itself is similar to Shaolin vs Wutang and Kings of Kungfu, but still fun to play. Hope this game will be better in the full version, and please add Silat Practicioner for the next update :)
Jae Lee has created many of these fighting games and I've enjoyed them all. I would suggest a side scrolling beat-em up game like this with boss battles and what not as their next project. Other than that, I've enjoyed this title tremendously as well! Keep it up!
This game is fantastic, also in early access stage.
The moves coreographies are magnificient also with the basic moves, resembling fighting movies much more than most of commercial AAA games. Graphic is top notch too.
The minus are that at easy and normal difficulties the game is too easy, and that there are less characters than in "Shaolin vs. Wutang", and as many as in "kings of Kung Fu". I hope that with the definitive version characters will increase too.
And another thing: it would be likely to add an option that allows to hit fighters when in the ground, like in Beat Takeshi's/Takeshi Kitano action movies. And a Beat Takeshi clone character would be a nice add too :) :) :)
Overall a nice concept. Each character represents a martial art/combat sport and they're based on popular figures such as Mike Tyson, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Tong Po, etc.
PROS:
+ Cool graphics.
+ Simple strings and combos.
+ Nice animations.
+ For martial arts enthusiasts.
+ Compelling AI!
+ All the typical single play modes: arcade, survival, team mode, time, etc.
CONS:
- Zero interaction with stages.
- Some of the reported bugs found in practice mode were never patched.
- No multiplayer whatsoever.
FINAL SCORE: 6.9 / 10.
Jae Lee and Digital Tribe does it again. After playing Shaolin vs Wutang this was an instant sale for me and it did not disappoint.
For an Early Access game it is really good and I love the detail. There was one stage at an Arcade where I kept losing focus because I would look at the characters in the background playing Shaolin vs Wutang on arcade machines. XD
Definitely thumbs up and recommended. I look forward to see the updates for this. :D

you can now change costumes right at the start of the character select.
combat feels more better and AI is smarter it will tec your throws.
Graphics and animations are amazing.
