Matanga

Matanga it’s a really bad game, it's just one of the most frustrating games I have ever played it's made by the same people that made Blackberry and it's somehow even worse than that game, but now the story. A young guy has lost his girlfriend as they went camping, he must find her while avoiding the deranged cannibal lurking in the woods.

Okay the likes, the graphics are okay same as the BlackBerry game. The monster design is okay nothing I haven't seen before. Okay is this game scary, no despite one jump scare the rest of it isn't scary at all not even a little intense. The voice acting is okay, it's in Russian but I don't mind at least it's better than that robotic Google translate nonsense.

Okay the dislikes, the gameplay is really bad basically you have to go through two labyrinths and a dark forest just to beat the game, problem is everything looks the same and you're wandering around for what feels like hours wondering where the hell you're supposed to go.

The cannibals also freaking annoying because he can take huge chunks of your health if you don't get him off quick enough and he's pretty fast, the mazes are stupidly annoying to go though as I have said they all look the same. The levels are just bad everything looks the same especially in the forest segment, it's also super dark even with a flashlight it was incredibly frustrating.

The story is bad as we don't really know anything about our character other than he's trying to get his girlfriend I think, I say I think because it's not very clear due to the notes. The notes are just plain bad and nonsensical barely making any sense with how poor the grammar and wording is.

Finally I don't know if this is just me or the game, but this game literally made me sick to my stomach to the point where I actually had to throw up, I don't know if it's the graphics or just the bobbing around and stuff I don't know, but again this game literally made me sick to my stomach while I was playing it.

This was just bad. not scary, the bobbing and turning navigation was just annoying, sounds are meh. the brick deterrent didn't really do anything, not that it was needed cause the "enemy" AI was kinda a push over. kinda wish i didn't take so long to play so i could get a refund. Not anywhere near the worst game I've played but definitely on the list

Ok so...
1. Bots or dev friends gave this game recommendation.
2. This game using tons of no copyright sounds and looks terrible.
3. All you have to do is guessing where you have to go or walk through maze.
4. AI is terrible. If you close that "enemy" in house you will be safe.
5. Bricks are useless... I mean you can throw at your "SCARY ENEMY" but it only stops him for few seconds.Only stops because if you walk next to him, he still be able to catch you.

JUST DON'T BUY THIS, waste of time and money.

I refuse to play a game with such nausea-inducing head bobbing. It's truly terrible. From the very start I can tell that I can't play this one... Just like the other game called Duder, also made by the same developer.

This was a fun game overall. In the beginning, the jump scares were perfect. After a few times, you begin to understand the pattern and can focus on progression. Tons of bricks to find (your source of defense against Matanga), as well as a good bit of lore. One recommendation I have for my fellow player is to map out the dungeons to prevent a ton of back tracking. If you would like, you can check out my play through below:

This is the second game from this developer, and it's cool.
A little lacking in riddles perhaps, and screamers, and so very soundly.
