I honestly was surprised this game got as many DLCs as it got. I got it in the hopes of being able to play Underworlds more casual back in the day, as it never really popped off in my LGS. But eben when the game was newer it was hard to ever find someone to play with.
Good way to learn or practice for tabletop sessions.
Love to see miniatures come alive.
I would recommend this game, but beware against bots. I have played 4 or 5 games in a row against bots, and no matter what army I use or assign them, I have no chance to win. My computer generated rolls are midline, not bad. In the last hour I have seen the bots roll no less than 30 criticals against me. If I play strategy instead, the get in and blast me with critical after critical. If I charge in, I get a success or 2 when I attack, but the roll criticals and stop everything. Fun game, but seems like the AI is a bit one-sided.
Hard to recommend. The interface looks and feels terrible. The cards look desaturated. The models feel rather clunky. It seems like a decent way to learn the Underworlds mechanics, but besides that it's not a great game. So, play a few games against a bot to learn the flow of the game and then just buy the tabletop variant and play against a friend (because the tabletop game is awesome!).

Great iteration of the board game and plenty of armies to sink your teeth into. Recommended.
solid graphics and game play, AI is very standard but to get the hang of things or to try out new decks they're pretty nice and get the job done, i wish the newer warbrands were added but it has a nice selection, only thing i could really ask for more would be a sequel honestly with the slightly newer rules like the board version, but the differences are small and is worth picking up.
I'm torn, I think the foundation is probably the best we're going to get for Underworlds in the virtual setting, however the limited roster of warbands and lack of updates to the current tabletop ruleset is holding this game back. If it gets the attention it deserves this could be a hit with the Underworlds community! But as it stands, only pick it up on sale for the novelty of animated battles.
