Good Game for playing with friends.
A fun little game about trains that also makes you stress about everything happening all at once! I'm not sure if it's better played with or without friends, but it sure it cute to look at!
This a great short term game. Fun crafting and challenge to beat the clock. A few glitches in that the robot gets confused by the ghost car and gets in your way at all the critical moments. After about 25 hours of play it starts to get monotonous as you can't progress very far on your own. An ability to save a game and start from the last station would be a real bonus to continuing this game. Starting all the way back where you last updated your engine is only ok the first half dozen times, then you just feel like you've done it too many times. I no longer want to play this game. IF you don't mind permadeath and re-doing the beginning over and over this game would have more longevity.

This game has a quite simple game design: break trees and stones for rails and don't crash the train. All the runs/evenings with my friends start slow and everybody is talking about not game related stuff. But as you progress further, that gradually disappears as the game get's more stressful. At some point everybody is screaming orders and what should be done. That one game can achieve something like that (not like other CO-OP games where you have to hustle from the beginning of the round) with a simple game design is for me personally pretty impressive.
As this game doesn't have a overall quest with an ending, I recommend that everybody who dares this game and seeks for a challenge should try to complete the achievements. It will take some time and some will be hard but with one or two friends, it will be a fun journey and you will learn some gameplay mechanics that the game doesn't teach you.

I never write reviews but, I have had A LOT of fun with this game. It's an interesting mix of both stressful and relaxing. It's a fun game to play solo or with friends (though it is MUCH more fun to play with other people). It's a lot of chaotic fun, 100% recommend
Its a very fun semi casual game that you can play with your friends and as you progress the terrain also starts to get more difficult but in my personal experience you can get very fatigued when playing these types of games for a long period of time.
Never knew that the railway development process was so difficult.

Pretty good game, I play by myself and I know pretty well how this game works with the strats. Would be fun to play with other, but Going solo is more enjoyable to me. 8.8/10 (and please watch tut on how to play)

So this game has been absolutely ripping through my friend group. A buddy introducted me to it and I went home and bought it on Switch and Steam. Then I grabbed two friends and one bought on Switch and the other ALSO bought on Switch and Steam after the first session. It's just fun. It's simple to play with people who can barely use a controller, but with enough challenge from the auto generated maps to please experienced gamers and to make you need coordination and communication. And so polished. No bugs, no annoying music. Very charming. A blast after a few drinks too. Not a single person I have played with has disliked this game.

Super simple mechanics and a overcooked-like feel makes for an excellent party game.
I got this game for funsies on a whim when it was on sale for my friend and I. Remote play is a little wonky, but who's surprised there? I thought we'd get about an hour or two of fun before we got the swing of mechanics. We played for seven hours straight and still feel like we have a lot to figure out. We couldn't stop laughing. Can't wait to play more.
Simple and great fun! Like others have said the save feature can be annoying but not a game breaker. Simple mechanics with controller. As you progress planning is very necessary especially when train can only go through 1 block gap. Have to make sure all your tools and tracks aren't at the back or no one is in front. Various emotes for communication. Haven't played with randoms only a friend and a family member.
I always come back to Unrailed on a random day at 2 or 3 am. It has a very simple game loop: Break stuff, carry materials, build tracks, place tracks, and try to not make a bad choice while doing any of that. This loop makes my brain turn off as I automatically follow the simple instructions, and it can be a bit addictive at times. I love when I play with strangers too, despite there not being much communication. It's just Me and three strangers, chilling at 3 am, building tracks to move forward in a silly train game. I decided to write this because I love the amount of support the game was given. The game had been given tons of support until the sequel was released. Even after the sequel, both games are very distinct gameplay-wise, and there is very good reason to play both. Personally, I appreciate the complexity that is introduced throughout the first game as it increases in difficulty.
chaotic and fun, it has many aspects that could be improved and they are implementing these improvements in the sequel, still worth the money tho
