Plot Summary
Ecallia. A town visited my many adventurers. Here lies the Dungeon, rumored to be the prison of the so-called "Forsaken God". Either a prison, or a lair, and no one knows what that monster may be doing down there. All we know is that everytime you enter, its structure is different. And his magic is so strong that not only precious loot and monsters are generated inside, but the "Dungeon Curse" is spreading faster affecting all the Ecallians.
You're the new adventurer in town, and your story is up to you.
Does the answer lie in the last floor of the Dungeon? Or in a peaceful life in Town, perhaps with a girlfriend and new friends?
You're the main character. You get to write his story, from his background to one of the 3 possible endings.
About the town

Each NPC has their own routine (some may leave or arrive later)

The adventurer life simulator, feels like playing DanMachi.
Goated game, don't look things up, don't load the save, enjoy the ride.
I couldn't pull myself away, it's so good x.x
It's pretty good, play if you liked azure dreams for the playstation.
Azure dreams successor. Loved that game and this one hit a lot of that game's beats.
It's own thing but definitely studied and learned from good game design/storytelling.
Setting is nice, game have some nice features like buying furniture for your house and town building(haven` reached that part because haven't played to this point) and general game idea is great, but realization leaves to desire better.
Randomly generated RPG maker dungeon – looks very bad, I would rather have one manually well drawn dungeon, even if it is same dungeon every time i play the game, rather than this.
You cant manually leave the dungeon, there is no way out, or game is this poorly designed that i couldn`t find it, you can teleport via item, which you need to find first, or you need to be killed by enemies and loose your items. Battles aren't random which is nice, but enemy behavior on map is not well made, looks like they just do have follow player ai setting, and very many enemies run at speed of light, which is looks bad, and you can barely avoid fighting them, and there is no runaway command avalible in battle, so if you have got in trouble, game leave you with no chances to escape, and there is no item which would let you flee combat(at least at the beginning). Combat uses default RPG maker ATB battle system, which in my opinion makes battles slow paced and boring(While ATB bar fills in, nothing happens, enemies do not attack, you just sit and wait till bar would be filled).Battlers are default RPG Maker battlers with something like breath plugin slapped on em. And there is very little variety in enemy types, so it is getting boring to fight enemies very quick.
There is class system with 3 skill trees and a bunch of classes to choose from, which is nice, but
classes feel poorly balanced(at least at the beginning: scout barely deals any damage with skills, while mage one-shots enemies, maybe it gets better eventually, but i wouldn`t be playing this far, because i do not have fun).
Didn't liked equip system – there is just body, weapon, shield, only one accessory slot. No head slot, no second accessory, no feet.
There is day/night system, with decent realisation, but sometimes it feels unnecessary.
Music does not fit locations, and I personally find it annoying, town have Arabic style music with for some reason, which feels out of place, first floors of dungeon have annoying music. Combat music is kind is some sloppy amateur rock music, which dosen`t fit jrpg battle at all. Winning battle screen have some pop-punkish music which would rather fit some tv commercial, not what i would want to hear in jrpg, I would rather listened default RPG maker music than this.
Art-style is inconstant, sometimes it is made with RPG maker character generator, sometimes it is custom art, sometimes it is both at the same time, I would preferred important characters to have custom art, and non important characters to do not have any art, rather than RPG maker generator abomination.
There are few minor errors in mapping, and I can see some lines around grass texture at the beach, I don't think that game which is being sold for money should have things like that.
There is a lot of characters and interactions, but I think that dialogs are poorly written, I don't want to know characters better, or having conversations with them.
Game have some mini-games as a way to gain money in a town, which is nice and all, but I would prefer developer to waster more time on improving game balance, graphics, or dialog writing.
Overall game isn't bad, but I have seen much better games made in RPG maker. Developer claims that there is a lot of content and characters, but there is no point in having a lot of content, if it feels unpolished, combat doesn't feel fun, story and characters are unappealing, and game leaves amateur impression. Overall i would rate this game 5 or 6 out of 10. I think steam Reviews are exscessivly positive, so i would go with negative review, to make it more objective.
Game does have nice ideas, but do not delivers satisfactory dungeon or exploring experience or story which i would want to go through. If this game was free i would have gave it positive review, but for a commercial product it feels amateur and unpolished.
I hope sequel executes this ideas better. Gonna wait for it to be on sale to see if it is better. Because i think it is a bit overpriced for rpg maker game.
I have completed the game twice and it is a very good game, lots of choices, the game is really fun to play!
Class building, party building, character finding, secrets to unlock. I was skeptical to even buy the game from the artstyle but it's worth every penny. Bought Dungeon Dreams 2 as soon as i finished this.
10/10 game. The only flaw would be art, but the story is worth looking over the art. got 50 hours on my save and it was definitely worth it. Thank you so much for this game, it is a masterpiece.
