Although not very challenging, the cute animations and energetic music make this a worthwhile play experience.
A solid time management game, but a step behind the best in the genre like Roads of Rome, 12 Labours of Hercules, and Rescue Team. Unlike those games, Argonauts Agency is just a little too simple because usually there's only one path to solving a level, where the better games are more open-ended. There aren't that many strategic decisions to make, it's more about rapid clicking.
There are 60 levels and it's not too hard to 3-star all of them on your first run through if you're experienced in this genre. It took me five and a half hours to 100% it on medium difficulty. A good deal when it's on sale for a buck or two. ★★★☆☆
Pretty enjoyable time management game. Worth it on sale as I completed in around 8 hours.
yes
"Argonauts Agency: Golden Fleece" is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a paid product, as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs and asset flip copy + paste shovelware game pushers at 8Floor. These guys have dumped reskins of the same games literally hundreds of times onto Steam, polluting the place and making gaming worse for everyone. And this mobile app of theirs is no exception.
"Argonauts Agency: Golden Fleece" is a pointless "12 Labours of Hercules" screen tapper/clicker mobile app. There's no gameplay, just tapping on the screen. The mobile app is made to look like you're making interesting decisions as you're presented with a map of a town/village/pathway that has you clicking on various things to collect things which are then consumed when you click on an obstacle, which unlocks more things to click on. This is so lame and shallow, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and given enough time, it would beat the game.
The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam Direct... they've dumped over a hundred valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours.
The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of 8Floors's copy + pastes of this asset:

- Argonauts Agency: Chair of Hephaestus

These are all reskins of exactly the same game! What value is there in this spam/pollution glutting the Steam store for gamers? This valueless copy + paste garbage is taking up marketing space for genuine indie developers who are doing the right thing. It's harmful to the industry and to gamers.
From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The mobile app features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone.
These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 11 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected.
This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because games like this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend.
Just who do they think we are?
Good stuff
Argonauts Agency: Golden Fleece is a captivating time management game that combines beautiful graphics, addictive gameplay, and an engaging storyline. Join the brave Argonauts as they set sail in search of the legendary Golden Fleece in this challenging and visually stunning game. Highly recommended for fans of the genre!
nice
Argonauts Agency: Golden Fleece is a fun time management game. It's similar to 12 Labors of Hercules and isn't frustrating like other series'. Recommended if you like the genre.
Reminds me of the 12 Labours of Hercules. It's pretty polished with some cool concept art that you can view from the main menu. So far it's pretty easy so I'm hoping it'll get more difficult, which usually happens with these types of games. The difference this game has from most others alike is probably the amount of paths you have to clear all at once, if that makes sense. Which makes it fast paced, especially when clicking on things. You'll find yourself clicking multiple things at once very often and sort of getting ahead of yourself. Other games alike don't exactly do that as often as this one.
I recommend picking it up the same way I did, on sale for $0.59. Easily worth that price.
A classic Time Management game with a pretty bland story. You can find better ones.
Trash , There's Bug within this little game... at :
1st it was my steam having issue to sync with the save files, then I thought all my progress got reset...turns out it's probably steam did not connected to internet somehow... anyway, i am glad that i can get the remaining achievements...but not all of them
2nd ... I triple check and completed all levels with 3 starts, but yet, the "Complete all level with 3 stars does not pop"
3rd? The "Reader" achievements? What - Th-E - Actual F-U-C-K devs? I read through all the "Comics" in the game, but NOPE, Not working
There's Bug, you may or may not able to 100% this easy game, so NO, Don't buy it, the only good thing? There's a Untimed mode so you can sorta cheese the game for the stars because fk off them stupid unnecessary stress
I always enjoyed Time Management game and this one is no exception. This game is fun that i finished it in just 7 hours and got all the achievement.
Fun basic time management game.
This is one of the most relaxing games I have ever played.
I have achieved 100% in just under 7 hours.
I got it for 85 cents, it really is value for money.
simple, nice, possitive, good enough , but nothing specially NEW IDEA, it may be, WHY NOT? GOOD MAINLY FOR CHILDREN! FOR HAPPYNESS AND JUST FUN!
It's 12 Labors of Hercules except the hero is called Jason and there are no jigsaw puzzles. 3 modes, achievements pop in all, no bugs, enjoyable.
It is a really good Time Management game and I just loved it.
There is a good story and the difficulties are getting harder and harder. I can only recommend it.
