This game is ok.
I am playing it alongside sister-game Shadowhand and its core game-mechanic looks way more polished. Cards are more readable, Options and special abilities are more reasonable, there is no frustrating competition with computer for cards at combat ... core mechanics are way better.
So why I enjoy Shadowhand more? Becase it has a story. Basic story, but it is there, a story. It keeps me entertained through chapters. I know who Shadowhand is, what keeps ker going and why. Ancient Enemy ... maybe it has a story. But it feels more like complaining, commenting on the sorry state of the world. It was fine for first 2-3 chapters, but now I am at chapter 7 out of 10 and I still have no more idea what is going on than at the end of chapter 1. At this poing I am playing mostly to get it done, but I find myself feeling like I am doing a chore. A game should not feel like a chore.
Too bad, as said, core game mechanic is done better.
If real life isn't as fun as this game for you, please go see a doctor.
