"Bloody Spell" is a martial arts action role-playing game. The core of the game is battle-oriented, and it combines many fighting elements and systems.

Ten years ago, Yejin and his sister Li went to practice martial arts under the sect of Wanfa. Since then, they have been far away from the complicated human world.Ten years later, the mysterious organization that claimed to be Void Legion invaded the sect, and then the world was in chaos, and the brothers and sisters were reinvested in the chaotic world. The sisters who are dependent on each other are taken hostage, and the disciples have been killed in one by one... At the moment when the bloodthirsty spell is opened, Yejin who knows himself, can he fulfill his commitment to everyone? And who is the last to be able to help the building, to save the devastated world?

In terms of combat, this game uses multi-weapon switching as the main feature, and for each weapon in different speeds, power and positioning, design a variety of different skills, a variety of skills combo, greatly enhance the game cool feeling, excellent hitting and handling feel make it even better.

The highlight of the level design is the form of random combination, that is, the scenes, monsters, equipment, and configuration of the props that the player is reborn after death are different from before, so that the game presents diverse characteristics, increasing the level variables and The game is fun.

The "Bloody Spell" system is that, Yejin uses special skills in the body's evil spirit curse to achieve various effects such as violent walking, bullet time, roar breaking, assassination execution, counterattack and blood return, etc., which is to enhance the character's attack power and auxiliary combat. And to simplify the battle, add to the character and weapon attributes, and some even play a role in determining the battle.

The system makes the combat part more flexible, more selective and versatile, while also ensuring the smoothness and refreshment of the battle. In addition, many interesting side quests, diverse survey elements, and mini games interspersed with them greatly expand the game's fullness and playability.

I liked this game: beautiful graphics, cool Chinese atmosphere, lot of action etc...
BUT.... Last time progress did not save so I must play a whole part back and that's why it has a thumb down.
Very good game for me

The Original Sin of Prejudice
At first glance, Bloody Spell looks like one of those low-tier Workshop nightmares: half-naked women, shady camera angles, and a vibe that screams “some degenerate made this.”
But no.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
This fully Chinese-developed title is actually a surprisingly ambitious fusion of Sekiro, Nioh, and Devil May Cry. No guns, just blades, and an identity of its own that slowly reveals itself as blood dries over ruined temples.
The Story: Blood, Betrayal, and Redemption SPOILERS
The game begins with Yejin, our protagonist, desperately searching for his sister in a monastery overrun by monsters.
Along the way, strange voices echo, enemies swarm, and a cursed witch kidnaps his siblings.
Yejin falls unconscious and awakens in a strange dimension, where he meets Faceless, a mysterious mentor who teaches him the power of the Blood Spell, a resurrection mechanic akin to Sekiro, but with a deadly cost.
From there, the story unfolds like a fragmented nightmare: dungeons, family betrayals, living statues, psychological illusions, and a final battle twice as painfulm first against the witch, then against the true villain: Faceless.
The ending, shows Yejin carrying his sister’s corpse, emotionally broken, in a world that no longer belongs to him.
And just when you think it’s over, there’s a secret fight against the game’s actual developer, portrayed as a Minecraft-style pixelated boss.
Weird? Yes.
Cool? Absolutely.
Gameplay: A Blade-Dancing Tango
Bloody Spell is agile, frantic, and choreographic.
Combat flows like a blade dance: fast attacks, slick dodges, stylish combos, and a rhythm that never falters.
It’s like Nioh's loot and builds, DMC's acrobatics, and Sekiro's spiritual weight, all blended into one.
The Good:
Wide variety of weapons
Highly customizable skill system
Resurrection mechanics with a price
Bosses with creative mechanics (though some are unbalanced)
Great combat rhythm and feedback
The Bad:
Some enemies have poor AI
Certain areas have unfair difficulty spikes
Platforming movement feels stiff at times
Atmosphere: Dungeons, Temples, and Crumbling Ruins
The game’s aesthetic is dark, symbolic, and steeped in Eastern mysticism.
It's not open world, but the maps are large and varied:
Maze-like dungeons
Devastated temples
Foggy forests filled with hidden enemies
Ancient ruins soaked in fatalism
The graphics aren’t AAA, but they’re surprisingly polished.
Lighting, particle effects, and enemy models are all well crafted.
Animations can feel clunky now and then, but overall, the visual and mechanical style works.
The Language of Fists: Combat System
Combat is the beating heart of Bloody Spell.
You’ve got aerial combos, dodges, cancels, parries, and a special ability fueled by spilled blood.
Each weapon has its own move set, and builds are impressively diverse.
You can go light and fast, heavy and brutal, or weave in some blood magic.
The Good:
Deep system with real sense of progression
Skill is rewarded more than grinding
You can literally dance with your enemies
The Bad:
Some enemies rely on unfair patterns
Camera can be a nightmare in tight spaces
The Workshop: The Community’s Hellhole
Ah... the Workshop.
A cesspool filled with lingerie mods, absurd poses, and an unhealthy obsession with twisting the game’s original tone.
Let’s be clear: the base game has nothing erotic. Nothing.
If you’re into watching Optimus Prime fight a cursed witch while the Gwyn theme blasts in the background, you’ll feel right at home.
But if you're here for the story and the gameplay, avoid the Workshop entirely. It'll break the immersion.
Hidden Details: Side Quests, COVID, and Easter Eggs
There are secret side missions that deeply enrich the game’s world.
One, very meta, tells the story of how the game was developed during the pandemic. You’re sent searching for masks, gloves, thermometers... like you’re in some kind of medical drama.
It’s a touching detail that breaks the fourth wall with heart.
There are also optional dialogues reflecting Yejin’s philosophy, his existential emptiness, and the burden of sacrifice. Subtle, powerful, and thoughtful.
Translation and Accessibility
The game is only partially translated into English, and much of it remains in Chinese.
That can be a major obstacle, especially for secondary quests.
Still, achievement descriptions often help clarify objectives and guide your progress.
Conclusion: Recommended... with Warnings
Bloody Spell is a good game, sharpened with blood and fire.
It has soul. It has rhythm. It has tragedy. And above all, it has passion.
Recommended for:
Fans of fast, technical combat
Lovers of Sekiro, Nioh, or Devil May Cry
Players craving a dark, unexpected story
Not recommended for:
Those who need full English translations
People who hate unfair difficulty
Players uncomfortable with NSFW Workshop content
My advice:
Buy it on sale.
Skip the DLC.
And enjoy this blood-soaked dance with your heart wide open.
Totally worth the price. Fun, entertaining, beautiful, good looking character. I hope they can improve some of the kinks and get some good VA in English! Best wishes to the creators!
the combat is pretty janky. game was good for being an indie title but i have 2 big caveats -
1) many enemies dont telegraph their attacks. it is pretty frustrating on hard difficulty to get hit suddenly and doesnt feel satisfying.
2) multiplayer doesnt work, so i cant get one of the achievements.
even though i bought it on sale , it still left a bad taste in my mouth.
Good👍
Amazing combat mechanics, and I've only played on Normal difficulty, can't wait to try the harder difficulties and get my ahh whooped! 10/10 rated, especially for people who liked Nioh, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry or Sekiro, it's a bit of every one of those games, plus the hot female characters in it are the icing on the cake.
This is an absolute gem! ADDICTIVE 😈! Amazing graphics, tough enemies, interesting weapon and intricate combos, addictive fast-paced combat, and way more. The fact that you can't use any potions to recover your demon energy for spells makes it so damn hard... I had do die like 20 times for the last boss and gather all of the healing potions to win, only to realize there is a hidden boss who is even worse @_@. But that's the fun! And well also, all of the fun mods and customers, this game is totally worth the purchase.
Great game overall, had a lot of fun. Not too long of a game but not too short, perfect length if you have 6/7 hours to kill. Combat is fluid, graphics look decent and plenty of difficulty options so no worries if you're rubbish at Ninja Gaiden/Devil May Cry type games (like me!)
Would I pay full price for this? No.... however, wait for sale price where it usually hits around £3/$3 (depending on your region) and yeah for all you gents with taste out there, spend the extra cash if you get this during sale and get the DLC as well if you buy it on sale (as the DLC will also be heavily discounted as well). Trust me, you'll want it ;)
Loads of Mods in the workshop as well so even more options if you want something different from the in game/DLC skins. Most of the mods are for female costumes.... which is 100% the reason you purchased or are thinking of purchasing this game ;)
Will play again in the future for sure. Hopefully a sequel or substantial update can be added to further expand the replay value =).

*Bloody Spell* – Fun Combat, Gorgeous Characters, and Some Flaws
If you love fast-paced action games with flashy combat, Bloody Spell is an absolute must-play. The game throws you into great fights with a ton of weapon variety, sick combos, and some of the best-looking character models in any game. But while it nails a lot of things, there are a few issues that hold it back.
**Combat is Awesome… Except for the Parry System**
The combat in Bloody Spell is straight-up addicting. It’s fast, stylish, and super satisfying when you pull off insane combos. But let’s talk about the parry system—because wow, it’s rough. The timing window is ridiculously short, which is frustrating in a game that *wants* you to parry to deal with bosses effectively. Sometimes it feels like the parry just straight-up doesn’t register, making some fights more annoying than they should be.
**The Female Character Designs Are Next-Level**
Now, let’s be real—one of the game’s biggest highlights is the character designs. The female models? Absolute goddesses. The devs went all-in on making them look stunning, and the variety of outfits just makes it even better. More games should follow this approach because it seriously adds to the experience ;)
**The English Translation is Pretty Bad**
One thing that’s pretty disappointing is the English translation. It’s rough. Some of the dialogue barely makes sense and other is not even translated, and it really takes away from the immersion. For such a well-made game, you’d think they’d invest in better localization.
**Story? Meh.**
Not much to say here—the story is as generic as it gets. It’s just there to give you a reason to keep fighting, but honestly, the game is fun enough that you won’t really care.
**Final Thoughts – 100% Worth Playing**
Despite its flaws, Bloody Spell is an awesome game that’s absolutely worth your time. The combat is fun as hell, the visuals are amazing, and the character designs are pure perfection. If you can deal with the janky parry system and bad translation, you’re in for a great time. Definitely recommend this one!
Very solid combo based hack n' slash. The gameplay is really good and feels very solid. Good animations, and interesting levels with hidden locations to discover. Though playing as a female character appears to not have been the initial intent, it fits really well anyways. I assume there has been a lot of focus after the initial launch of expanding the ability to play as a female character. Game is great even without the DLC, but if you like the lady that's in all the promo images you will need that add-on. It's the only one I paid for. Very robust photo mode as well. Long story short, if the game looks like something you'd like you'll probably enjoy what you get. The only thing lacking is the English translation, but you'll get the jist of it one way or another. In a way it takes me back to the days of Japanese games in the 80's and 90's. Some might call it a feature.
Despite the hot girls angle, you can play as an original male character where all weapons and armor are visible.
This is not the case for the ladies in scanty clothing. Armor does not show up on them.
It is a dark souls light type game, with pretty good fighting system and visuals. It includes a pretty good story with live action cutscenes.
I'd recommend buying it on sale because of the massive DLCs focused mainly on scantily clad clothing and quite expensive.
This game is Fun!!!! Its catchy, has plenty of unlocks. You can go fast or slow. The camera angles are excellent. It runs smooth. Tons of combos. Even has a ultra easy mode. Its pure fun!!!!
9.7 out of 10.
اوووه صح ما تكلمت عنها ذي نسيت >_<
اللعبة زق ومافيها قونينق الا بعدين
if any asking, why bought this game, i just wanna say It's worth it 100%, cuz it's really reasonable how to get the female characters, then i see most style of pose it's have any great music/popular music literally best one!
A solid Chinese proof of concept game
Its fun and sexy with cool emotes in photo mode too big w and mad underated!!
most excellent game, sometimes a little awkward when mid combo and you want to turn to face enemies, but great!
puzzles fun too
This game is full of booty butt cheeks
Can sometimes be enjoyable ngl
"Impressive and extremely satisfying fast-paced martial arts hack-and-slash combat with progression system, unique weapons and weapon moves, and interesting magic-based abilities. What it lacks in story or depth, it makes up for in entertaining combat and (optionally) sexy outfits (without being too much)."
Very fun - combat is the main feature and is super satisfying to play, with tons of combos and cool animation. Fun to collect all the weapons and unlock all the different skills. Super pretty and music is beautiful. The English translation isn't totally complete so some mini-games etc. aren't translated, and the main story dialogue is a little grammatically off. You definitely can figure it out with common sense though and it didn't bother me. You start as a male character but can change to female using skins; the male character design allows for armor upgrades which look great, but the cosmetic skins are boring and shallow by comparison. Overall, worth playing.
Great little hack and slash game with good graphics and good mix of enemies. The easter eggs are funny and the game keeps your attention through out but is short enough you wont burn out. I probably would not pick it up unless it's on sale though.
It's janky and the translation is atrocious (but funny). Combat is excellent and the female skins are gorgeous. Buy on sale with the DLCs.
Do not let the janky start and remedial level English deceive you. This game is absolutely spectacular and very fun to play.
Bloody Spell's fast-paced involved combat system provides a level of intense enjoyment that lasts for hours on end. I usually can't stand singleplayer games - but this game just hit the right spot for me.
The scenery, secrets, mini-puzzles, light parkour, and weapon design genuinely surprised me as I was expecting none of these to be all that great (they are all quite good).
The DLC is about what you'd expect - super heavy fanservice. The thing Bloody Spell does differently than other games with fanservice is that it's actually well-made for what it is. If you're going to buy the DLC I recommend buying it all as switching around outfits can be pretty fun. There are also different animations for some outfits which is pretty cool (e.g., the bat-wing outfit has a 'hidden bat' feature when you dash/block which is very cool).
buggy levels with buggy non-working jumps,
more buggy jumps - impossible to play
a perfect game for me.. good job.. but if you can add more modes, stories, the game will be not boring at all sometimes...
fast paced, combos are easy to use, graphics for MC are awesome, just a great hack 'n slash.
Get this bad boy on a sale and enjoy. It's got a lot of workshop content and it surprisingly good. You'll think its janky as hell at the start but stick with it and you'll find the combat is actually super good.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this game was. Nice Story, great character design, and smooth mechanics make this a sleeper gem for sure.
The designer cares as well for the audience since you can use the practice mode to say...spawn in 100 bats and kill them for the achievement.
Some minor critiques but a really fun game overall. Highly recommend.
althought the translation is horrible and the game is a little janky, everthing else is okay and the combat is fun i would buy this game during a sale. it also has workshop which makes it more valuable
great game and lots of fun if you love dmc youll love this
Unplayable co-op. 800+ ping servers, no coop story just multiplayer. Translations are horrific.
I bought this game because it was on sale. Also it was among those listed under the "More games like this" for Nier: Automata.
Like Nier: Automata the combat is fun, fluid, and scales well with the difficulty settings. I'd go so far as to say the fighting is better than Nier. The weapon styles are varied and well balanced. The giant swords and hammers feel heavy, while the lighter weapons feel light and fast.
Unlike Nier the story is garbage. At least I think it is... it's so poorly translated I can't be sure. There's no grind, you'll easily get all the xp you need to buy all the weapon combos just by using that weapon type.
The levels are very linear, but do reward you for exploring. The bloody spells themselves are hit and miss. Most of them I used only a few times, and ended up sticking with the 3 that fit my playing style best.
You'll have to beat the game on Hard for a cheeve, which was hard, but overall it's not a difficult game if you master the combat controls.
iNCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL >§ >§ >§
Very hard1 4 pro gamers only
Do not buy this at full price, and honestly get a free sailor version first, to see for yourself if it's worth your money.
The game is unoptimized mess, quality is inconsistent, translation is on a level below engrish and at some points it's absent entirely.
But it has charm, for the 30 hours i spent on it (i got a sailor version first thus the difference in time played), if you don't mind the jank, and can suffer trough the unoptimized, messy parts.. get it, at a discount. NEVER at full price. Respect your wallet. Even 10$ is a generous offer for this game.
A solid 3/10 can't go any higher than that.
Bought it on sale for 4USD, ended up buying all the DLC after I beat it because this game is truly awesome and the creators did an awesome job. I was skeptical at first. Once the game play picked up, I was hooked. The minigames are really fun in the story mode, survival mode was also really fun. All the achievements having in-game rewards was fun to accomplish too. Highly recommend and I hope to see more of this game in the near-future. Thank you developers!
Jogo legal pra matar o tempo, diz a lenda ter multiplayer, mas não consegui nem abrir o modo LAN e o modo publico só tem um servidor com 900+ de ping (em relação ao BR)
it is fun in hell mode, haven't try the normal mode
The combat is really solid though the story nearly docent exist. Good game though if you catch it on a sale like i did.
great game if you want a ninja gaiden esc game with a baddie
Excellent game. It's plays like Dark Souls, but it also offers difficulty settings (which is the reason I bought it to be honest). It has some rough edges mostly in translation (95% of the game is in English, but there is a 5% that is not).
Some tips to enjoy it.
1. You can change the difficulty on the fly.
2. You can replay individual chapters
3. In-game Vsync toggles the fps limiter (use the in-game limiter to 60 and then Lossless Scaling to get a smooth 120, if you uncap the fps you get more stutters)
4. Don't be alarmed by the store page description requirement for K-Lite codec and stuff, the game runs fine without any of that, that's probably a leftover from previous buggy versions.
5. Max it out, it looks gorgeous.
The game looks good and plays good as well. If you enjoy hack and slash you should give this one a try. The game is straight forward as you only need to traverse the level while fighting enemies however if look around and explore you can find hidden things here and there and explore you must as you can only getting stronger by collecting items. The game's system requirements also not demanding. I am playing it on laptop with Ryzen 7 7735HS with iGPU
It's like if Nioh was a Playstation 1 game and they remastered it. Overall fun. Definitely worth the $6 special.
Game needs more updates in regards to story but a good action
great little game! i enjoyed it for what it was! For sure Worth Playing
I am enjoying the game
The graphics are good and the gameplay is very addictive. I love the challenges, the battle mecanics, everything.
If evil why Hot?
