Awesome game and an even better workshop
DMC + God of War + Ninja Gaiden = Bloody Spell
Nevermind the whole Unity asset, crap sub. This is a real game with a story, secrets, not terribly linear, lots of things to do and unlock. Has Replay value plus a lot of modes and even multiplayer. Even to this day it's still being updated. The combat is fantastic and the girls are a huge bonus. If you like fun, action games with deep combat that aren't of the "souls-like" variation then this if for you.
Bloody Spell's... a weird one. A pretty cut and dry hack'n'slash/ARPG, with alright music, decent enough graphics, and a near non existent plot. The translation is... adequate, at best. However, it definitely shines in the gameplay department. The combat is really satisfying, with plenty of (relatively simple) combos to learn, good weapon variety, and good layouts for combat arenas. Bloody Spell feels out of time almost, with when it was released. It very much plays like something you'd rent over the weekend back in the day, with a dated design and horny character skins (ya love to see it) to match. But it's genuinely a ton of fun, the kind of "B" game that doesn't really exist anymore. I would recommend it, but full price (at time of writing, $25) does feel a bit steep to me for what you get. I was able to finish it over the course of two nights on normal difficulty, but I wasn't exactly going for a completionist run either. If this happens to be on sale for $10 or less, I'd say pick it up and see if you dig it! I certainly did.
Mods are super hot, and the game play is very fun! Definitley recommend this game.

This game isn't bad it's just trash, and that's not for me. If Dark Souls and Nioh are fine cuisine which you dine out on at a top restaurant, Bloody Spell is a McDonalds which you might eat in a pinch, but which doesn't really fulfil you.
Like I say, it isn't bad. Everything it offers is competent, but it's little more than that. The challenge design isn't particularly clever and quite predictable, the play and enemies very samey, and the fan service nice but it also takes away from any real sense of dark immersion.
My biggest gripe with the game is that, even on harder settings, the popcorn enemies are usually a waste of time, and the lack of a stamina meter is sorely missed. That stamina meter miss makes it feel far more like a sloppy hack and slash than a Soulslike game (which is what they may have been going for).
So, yeah, it's OK and I wouldn't say I disliked it in any way. I just got bored of it fairly quickly and think over it's mediocre.
The main reason you want to buy and play this game is for mods. There are different mods which makes the game fun to play. The combat is also good and you have different types of weapon.
But as I said mod is the main focus at least for me.

What's not to love? We have Bayonetta at home.
I hate the english translation, it's so terrible i'd rather they gave me 3rd person description instead, or use AI for help on constructing meaningful words. The combat not as good as bayonetta but more like excessive button mashing, rather than juggling with style. Despite this I do enjoy for what it is which is flashy hack & slash combo brawler. The 1st time i played, almost forgot to sleep.
Do not play! Fun for a couple minutes but the game just kept on crashing and resetting me at the start of the level over and over.
I had fun playing the game.
It is still under development but the main game is full.
I did not find the staff as a weapon yet so maybe I need another playthrough.
english can be rough from time to time but believe me you basically don't need english, just enjoy the view.

I did enjoy the game I don't know why exactly because this is a low quality game everything seems scuff in it, but somehow it was fun and if you are looking to buy this game for boobs forget it there is no sexual content

Combat fluid, beautiful character models for the guy and the woman, the weapons are dope and the movement is dope.

Simple but fun game with fast combat and pretty graphics. Some fights are challenging and you need to know what you are doing to succeed, others can be passed with button mashing.
This game was a surprise to me, didn't expect to have this much fun story is boring but gameplay is addicting and the combat is so much fun!! plus sexy female skins
This is a great action/horror game. Pick it up.
Pros:
1) The main campaign is playable even for those without arcade skill thanks to a "Paradise" mode.
2) There are plenty of hidden things for people to find in the game, which requires multiple passes through the main campaign.
3) The modding community is active and has provided many great mods on the Steam Workshop.
4) The photo mode in the game is one of the best I've ever seen, which makes the horny teenager modes on the workshop all the more appealing.
5) The monster design is quite creative and adds to the mood of the game.
Cons:
1) For those without arcade skill, all other modes of play outside of the main campaign are utterly impossible. And, sadly, this means that such players have no means of getting the staff. Just to give you an idea of what I mean, the "Protect the Sister" multiplayer mode has 28 stages. I have never passed the 8th stage. I can get the staff via DLC, but when it is not on sale, it will cost me $9.99.
2) The English translation of the game is 95 percent complete. And while I can finish the game without a problem, I sure would have preferred to get an English set of instructions for the weapon smith mini-game.
3) Given the frenetic pace of battles, the magic system is curious to me. It doesn't seem practical for the combat in the game. It's not like what I'm used to in many action role-playing games, that is for certain.
4) Most of the mini-games are over designed. It's clear that the author of the game put quite a bit of time into these games, but I can't really say that I find them fun. I would suggest that game makers think harder about what is enjoyable for gamers rather than about what original concepts could be placed into a game.
The gameplay reminds me of God of War 1 through 3. Nice flashy weapons and a pretty easy to learn combo system. If you enjoyed the gameplay from God of War, you'll pick this one up pretty quickly. Btw, the dlc content reminds me of the dlc from Dead or Alive. Some of the prietess outfits brings back memories of some of the female costumes from DOA. Overall, Bloody Spell has been an entertaining game so far.

Not recommended.
It's an action game that you can play as a eastern girl with ultra skimpy clothes.
Besides that there isn't really anything worth saying on it being an asset flip chinese indie with expectations aside from few points.
Doubt a normal player can play this for 15 minutes + straight without it crashing, i myself had to create a dll to fix the problem, alongside some tune-ups on the abnormal resource usage this project has.
Initially thought it was a crypto miner since y.m.'s, but it's just devs not knowing basic general graphical optimization.
Truly, never put malice where it can be explained with stupidity.
Good thing i took of this whim-buy was the flame of this genre getting rekindled, gotta get the ninja gaiden collection and replay nier automata to get my fix.
Luck to the devs if they want to continue in this business, they really gonna need it.

The combat and unlockables are addictive. Very fun to play.
Doesn't worth it at all. Even on sale.
Too boring, same straight locations, same enemies.
The only advantages are quite good-shaped (IYKWIM) models and bunch of mods which allows you to play other character. But still it's too boring imho.
Workshop items allow you to play as 2B as well as use both her Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty so it's a 10/10 game in my eyes
Bought it on 80% sale I would say definitely worth the money. The first 1-3 hours are really fun but then it becomes very repetitive. There is not enough enemy variety and the environment is kinda boring, story is almost non existent and translations are weird but really funny time to time lol. I could not push the last hour or two to finish the game but I got my money`s worth. There are some adult modes for horny teens that kills the immersion but why not.
Great game had a ton of fun. Excited to see how they can refine everything in a new game. Keep the fun stuff like funny costumes and squeaking toys weapons please! Also great music

I just played two level, I'm in love with it.
It definitly has potential and the gameplay is extreamly fun but far from being properly complete. It needs some refinement but it seems the developer knows what he's doing. I've also seen it lag at times especially when there are many enemies. There are some bugs here and there like odd camera angle, peices of outfit disappearing, etc. I also noticed that the time stopping ability stops working or gets weakened when fighting strong opponents. Why? I don't get it. The fighting is definitely it's strong point and I'll be looking forward to it and as well as other things.

Bought this on sale and it was cheap. For the discounted price, I'd say it's worth the bucks. It's a 'hack and slash' game although the combos themselves don't have a lot of depth and there's no great weapon-switching combos, also most of the weapon have bad air movesets. There are 6 weapon types and you can bring 2 at a time but you can essentially use everything if you switch in inventory menu fast enough, 1 weapon type is locked on multiplayer mode reward or DLC though. The visual design is good enough, I myself can't really enjoy games that don't have compelling visuals and this is one of the acceptable ones on my standard. The story is... average, I don't have much to say about it. The translation is bad most of the time and there are even some untranslated texts, it is originally a chinese game if the character design from previews didn't already tell you that. The puzzles are easy, there are some platforming and minigames. The game length is about 10 - 12 hours on hard mode so it might take less time on lower difficulties. The multiplayer is definitely dead now considering this is kind of an obscure game and not one you want to really replay a lot. Overall I enjoyed finishing it.

Simple structure, many weapons and moves to unlock, fluid enjoyable combat, nice assets ;) highly customisable and got some mods! Can't ask for more for the price!

Visually pleasing and enjoyable hack n slash. Runs really well so far. I play on a 65" TV and I have to remove v-sync and apply then re-enable v-sync and apply or else I get screen tears, but that full resolves it for me.
