a perfect game for me.. good job.. but if you can add more modes, stories, the game will be not boring at all sometimes...

fast paced, combos are easy to use, graphics for MC are awesome, just a great hack 'n slash.

Get this bad boy on a sale and enjoy. It's got a lot of workshop content and it surprisingly good. You'll think its janky as hell at the start but stick with it and you'll find the combat is actually super good.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this game was. Nice Story, great character design, and smooth mechanics make this a sleeper gem for sure.
The designer cares as well for the audience since you can use the practice mode to say...spawn in 100 bats and kill them for the achievement.
Some minor critiques but a really fun game overall. Highly recommend.

althought the translation is horrible and the game is a little janky, everthing else is okay and the combat is fun i would buy this game during a sale. it also has workshop which makes it more valuable

Unplayable co-op. 800+ ping servers, no coop story just multiplayer. Translations are horrific.

I bought this game because it was on sale. Also it was among those listed under the "More games like this" for Nier: Automata.

Like Nier: Automata the combat is fun, fluid, and scales well with the difficulty settings. I'd go so far as to say the fighting is better than Nier. The weapon styles are varied and well balanced. The giant swords and hammers feel heavy, while the lighter weapons feel light and fast.

Unlike Nier the story is garbage. At least I think it is... it's so poorly translated I can't be sure. There's no grind, you'll easily get all the xp you need to buy all the weapon combos just by using that weapon type.

The levels are very linear, but do reward you for exploring. The bloody spells themselves are hit and miss. Most of them I used only a few times, and ended up sticking with the 3 that fit my playing style best.

You'll have to beat the game on Hard for a cheeve, which was hard, but overall it's not a difficult game if you master the combat controls.

Do not buy this at full price, and honestly get a free sailor version first, to see for yourself if it's worth your money.
The game is unoptimized mess, quality is inconsistent, translation is on a level below engrish and at some points it's absent entirely.
But it has charm, for the 30 hours i spent on it (i got a sailor version first thus the difference in time played), if you don't mind the jank, and can suffer trough the unoptimized, messy parts.. get it, at a discount. NEVER at full price. Respect your wallet. Even 10$ is a generous offer for this game.

A solid 3/10 can't go any higher than that.

Bought it on sale for 4USD, ended up buying all the DLC after I beat it because this game is truly awesome and the creators did an awesome job. I was skeptical at first. Once the game play picked up, I was hooked. The minigames are really fun in the story mode, survival mode was also really fun. All the achievements having in-game rewards was fun to accomplish too. Highly recommend and I hope to see more of this game in the near-future. Thank you developers!

The combat is really solid though the story nearly docent exist. Good game though if you catch it on a sale like i did.

Excellent game. It's plays like Dark Souls, but it also offers difficulty settings (which is the reason I bought it to be honest). It has some rough edges mostly in translation (95% of the game is in English, but there is a 5% that is not).

Some tips to enjoy it.
1. You can change the difficulty on the fly.
2. You can replay individual chapters
3. In-game Vsync toggles the fps limiter (use the in-game limiter to 60 and then Lossless Scaling to get a smooth 120, if you uncap the fps you get more stutters)
4. Don't be alarmed by the store page description requirement for K-Lite codec and stuff, the game runs fine without any of that, that's probably a leftover from previous buggy versions.
5. Max it out, it looks gorgeous.

The game looks good and plays good as well. If you enjoy hack and slash you should give this one a try. The game is straight forward as you only need to traverse the level while fighting enemies however if look around and explore you can find hidden things here and there and explore you must as you can only getting stronger by collecting items. The game's system requirements also not demanding. I am playing it on laptop with Ryzen 7 7735HS with iGPU

It's like if Nioh was a Playstation 1 game and they remastered it. Overall fun. Definitely worth the $6 special.

This game is good. I picked it up for £3.41 in the sale and definitely got my monies worth and then some.

Bloody Spell is a hack and slash through and through, it's not at all a souls-like in the Dark Souls sense. You can literally button mash your way to glory! There is some jank, some pop in here and there, some english subtitles are plain just not in the game but that doesn't detract at all from why you should want to play this game - the combat. It's smooth. One of those that's easy to get into but difficult to master at higher difficulties, very surprised at how well the combat plays out in this.

The story is there, it's not bad, maybe mediocre. You play a dude called Yujin who's trying to find his sister and has to visit various locales to track her down. That's it. It feels like there had to be some sort of story for the combat to go with. Make no mistake - buy this game only if you're strictly looking for (excellent) combat and jiggle physics!

Speaking of jiggle physics, there is an option to play as a woman, but it's not immediately clear, you have to go into the menu and equip an item. I feel like Uncle Li (shout out Uncle Li, he's a real one!) spent a disproportionate amount of time on the jiggle physics, because some assets are very jiggly!

Overall a short and fun experience with an excellent combat system. Will keep an eye on this studio to see what they do next.

Had this game in my wishlist for a while. Recently it has come down to £3.41 so i took the chance and bought it. Glad I wasn't wrong in my decision to buy it. It's all good fun. Don't know what the hell's going on like, but I like it.

i bought the dlc bundle when it was discounted, was not disappointed. mods can make up for the lack of skins and other shit but there are really cool features to the dlc skins so wait for a discount. or dont. up to you.

Graphics is okayish, it feels like games that were made in 2014-2015. Character Models is pretty ehheheheheh wish we can score ehehehehhe music also good, the only downside the game is buggy and glitchy at some points... also during the Final secret Boss fight ehhehehehee

Firstly, i'm not a fan of the "fan service", i haven't purchased the game for that reason but mainly because it looked a bit like Nioh.
It may more or less be the same, but the gameplay is great, generally, such released games have clunky gameplay mechanics but this one, it's very enjoyable.
DLCs are overpriced and useless (mostly fan service skins).
There's the Steam workshop which has many great skins anyway, Zoro (timeskip) from One Piece? Yes and he looks great. Some Final Fantasy characters? Yes, some characters from other games / series? Yep, it still is lacking Guts from Berserk, the guy from the first Nioh game, some characters from the three kingdoms of China (Wo Long), Afro Samurai, etc... but it doesn't really matters as they are only skins. Now, new animations / weapon types, new weapons (instead of just skins), entirely new creatures with the possibility of having their own new animations and their own new attack types, new levels from the modders would be pretty neat.

In all honesty, looks like a solid game that could also be so much more.

DMC + God of War + Ninja Gaiden = Bloody Spell
Nevermind the whole Unity asset, crap sub. This is a real game with a story, secrets, not terribly linear, lots of things to do and unlock. Has Replay value plus a lot of modes and even multiplayer. Even to this day it's still being updated. The combat is fantastic and the girls are a huge bonus. If you like fun, action games with deep combat that aren't of the "souls-like" variation then this if for you.

Bloody Spell's... a weird one. A pretty cut and dry hack'n'slash/ARPG, with alright music, decent enough graphics, and a near non existent plot. The translation is... adequate, at best. However, it definitely shines in the gameplay department. The combat is really satisfying, with plenty of (relatively simple) combos to learn, good weapon variety, and good layouts for combat arenas. Bloody Spell feels out of time almost, with when it was released. It very much plays like something you'd rent over the weekend back in the day, with a dated design and horny character skins (ya love to see it) to match. But it's genuinely a ton of fun, the kind of "B" game that doesn't really exist anymore. I would recommend it, but full price (at time of writing, $25) does feel a bit steep to me for what you get. I was able to finish it over the course of two nights on normal difficulty, but I wasn't exactly going for a completionist run either. If this happens to be on sale for $10 or less, I'd say pick it up and see if you dig it! I certainly did.

Mods are super hot, and the game play is very fun! Definitley recommend this game.

This game isn't bad it's just trash, and that's not for me. If Dark Souls and Nioh are fine cuisine which you dine out on at a top restaurant, Bloody Spell is a McDonalds which you might eat in a pinch, but which doesn't really fulfil you.

Like I say, it isn't bad. Everything it offers is competent, but it's little more than that. The challenge design isn't particularly clever and quite predictable, the play and enemies very samey, and the fan service nice but it also takes away from any real sense of dark immersion.

My biggest gripe with the game is that, even on harder settings, the popcorn enemies are usually a waste of time, and the lack of a stamina meter is sorely missed. That stamina meter miss makes it feel far more like a sloppy hack and slash than a Soulslike game (which is what they may have been going for).

So, yeah, it's OK and I wouldn't say I disliked it in any way. I just got bored of it fairly quickly and think over it's mediocre.

The main reason you want to buy and play this game is for mods. There are different mods which makes the game fun to play. The combat is also good and you have different types of weapon.
But as I said mod is the main focus at least for me.

I hate the english translation, it's so terrible i'd rather they gave me 3rd person description instead, or use AI for help on constructing meaningful words. The combat not as good as bayonetta but more like excessive button mashing, rather than juggling with style. Despite this I do enjoy for what it is which is flashy hack & slash combo brawler. The 1st time i played, almost forgot to sleep.

Do not play! Fun for a couple minutes but the game just kept on crashing and resetting me at the start of the level over and over.

I had fun playing the game.
It is still under development but the main game is full.
I did not find the staff as a weapon yet so maybe I need another playthrough.
english can be rough from time to time but believe me you basically don't need english, just enjoy the view.

I did enjoy the game I don't know why exactly because this is a low quality game everything seems scuff in it, but somehow it was fun and if you are looking to buy this game for boobs forget it there is no sexual content
