Yes. A very relaxing and a great Match-3 to space out to. Except for battles.
There is a bit of a story and A LOT OF levels. Like 200... And they have this mechanic that let's you change the board layout! I've never seen anything like it. Got a thing stuck in a corner? NOT ANYMORE!
Board exploders (from matching 4+) are hella fun to use. Just know they destroy their own... Instead of detonating them.
There is some variety too, as it's not only Match-3. There is some HOG (Hidden Object play) and Find the Difference and like I already said, BATTLES. Just power stuff up and throw it at the enemy... Except for the Healing Bag... You don't want to throw that.
Oh and you also re-build the island. Something to look forward to.
I saw the ending... But my question is this... If this artifact has magical powers... Wouldn't...?
You know... "Those people" take it away from them or steal it?
That mask is going to escape isn't it? I know it's going to go off on it's own. That's how you make another game with that story line. :p
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! =) :3 :D
A fun and addictive match 3 adventure game with occasional "fights" and occasional find the differences puzzles. Expect around 14 hours of gameplay.
Works fine on Linux with Proton.
A linear gauntlet of 200 levels, with only the faintest intrusion of plot along the way. The perfect game for when you need chill vibes.
The majority of the gameplay consists of classic match-3 puzzles, with the usual obstacles of ice, chains, boxes, etc. There are also trap squares that manipulate the obstacles in some way, either by adding them or removing them from the board.
Clearing four or more symbols at once spawns an upgraded symbol which unleashes a powerful clear attack when matched. Each upgraded symbol has its own clear pattern; for example: the upgraded scroll clears one vertical and one horizontal line centered on itself, and the upgraded healing elixir clears all other healing elixirs on the board.
Additionally, there is a toggle button that lets you rearrange the physical shape of the board if you get stuck. It recharges every ten seconds, and is a very effective and innovative gimmick.
Peppered alongside the classic match-3 puzzles are a handful of hidden object screens, spot-the-difference puzzles, match-3 digging challenges, and match-3 fighting battles. These act as palate cleansers to keep the game from feeling too samey or monotonous.
Aesthetics-wise, the graphics are crisp, the music is appropriately backgroundy and atmospheric, and I encountered no bugs or issues while running the game.
You can choose to play with or without a timer, although the timer is fairly generous. There were maybe five levels total where I had to go back and replay them because I missed a star on my first try.
All of the achievements for the game are reasonable, even the 30-second challenge. There are a few levels that are specifically designed with speediness in mind if you trigger the helpful trap squares, and I was able to get a 28-second clear time on level 51.
All in all, if you are looking for a straightforward match-3 game that will give you more than 10 hours of relaxation, this is a solid choice. I got it on sale for $4, and it was well worth the price.
Had some bad luck recently with match three games. Help section no help at all etc. This really is a nice relaxing match three game. Good graphics, fairly interesting story line and easy to play. Just the sort to help you wind down. Well pleased.

The gameplay is quite repetitive after few hours, but still,
this is enjoyable to play.
Music theme is nice and graphism pleasant.
If you are looking for a real casual, simple and yet relaxing
match 3 game, this is a nice one to try.
Basic and soothing.

A basic Match 3 game but it has very enjoyable graphics and audio, combined with an okay story and a mix of additional games (Hidden Object, battles etc) that all tend to lean toward the simpler side. This is a good game to pass the time.
Nice and relaxing!
very nice match 3 game, relaxing and fun to play
What a nice match 3 game! :) Exactly what I needed.
What I really like about the game is the relaxed mode, which you can switch on or off at any time. If you like a little bit of challenge - play the timed mode, if not - relaxed mode is really awesome.
The levels are not too long (the longest ones took me maybe 3 minutes). 200 levels of pure joy and the addition of "find the difference" or "hidden object" stages made this game even better to me!
The graphics are really nice and the music is just wonderful.
The only tiny minus is the story...It is kinda weak (and yes...the main character does remind me of Lara Croft), but then again...many match 3 games don't have any stories.
I highly recommend Heart of Moon: The Mask of Seasons to anyone that likes to relax with a nice casual game.
9,9/10
Wasn't what I was expecting, but it's not too bad and can be addicting. Works on Triple Screen.
Nice match 3 game with some puzzles and battles too. Recommend highly for a nice timed or relaxed mode chill out game.
Not too challenging but entertaining
A fairly standard match-3 game, but with nice music and really good graphics in the cut scenes where you get to find things. I think it's good for younger players as well as those looking for an easy time waster. The rewards are nice, and come frequently enough to be satisfying.
Its ok
I'm definitely recommending "Heart of Moon: The Mask of Seasons." It's a nicely done Match 3 type of game with a totally optional level timer and plenty of levels (200). The only gripes of any significance that I have are:
- The "Flash" Achievements is to finish a level in 30 seconds or less. That's just way too short.
- The game gives us buildings that we're supposed to repair as we progress. But, buildings routinely become available for repair while they're off-screen. If they do that, there really should be some kind of notification.
I also have some entirely insignificant complaints:
- The font drops the left side of the cross bar on the letter "t". So, after every level, we get to look at something that looks like "Level Complere" instead of "Level Complete." There's also the occasional "Vicrory" instead of "Victory." Note that the words aren't really misspelled. They just look like it.
- When matches happen as a result of chain reactions, they don't form any special tiles.
- There's really no difficulty progression through the game. The levels at the end aren't any more difficult than the ones at the beginning.
So, all my "issues" are trivial. Plus, 16.5 hours of really good gameplay (with 100% Achievements) for a list price of about $6 is excellent. Recommended.
Really well balanced and fun match 3 game. The addition of a few hidden object and find the difference levels really mix things up nicely. Recommended for a fiver or even better on sale.
Heart of Moon is a fantastic match three game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10.
very quick action 3-match game:
you click faster than you recognize the symbols and get into a tight flow.
some levels are diffrent, even some few HOG screens are in there:
just nice to change the pace some times.
the 200 levels game playthrough will take at least 10h!
Same team, same gameplay, same [...] as Mystika 3. So, a small review only.
It's again my kind of game.
there's 200 levels (that includes "boss levels", "hidden object levels") which are mainly match 3 oriented. The match 3 type is the "moving a tile to align 3 or more" type.
Difficulty increases as you progress through the map.
There's a timed gameplay as well as a non-timed one. There are ingame bonusses that are triggered by action (align 4 or 5) once the appropriate option has been bought.
There are some ingame achievements (as well as steam). I needed only one playthrough to get all achievements. Replaying a level is possible at any time.
It took me something like 10+ hours to play through the whole thing, getting 3 stars for each level (that for the timed gameplay alone)
I wished there was more like Mystika 3 on steam. Now there is :)
