Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition is the digital adaptation of the much-loved board game, first published in 1987 by Games Workshop. Based on the 4th Edition of the game, this faithful adaptation allows you to re-experience this iconic game of gothic horror and deduction in a whole new way. If you’ve never played the original board game, you can see exactly why Fury of Dracula is considered a classic among the board game community!
Will you take on the role of Dracula as he increases his influence over Europe? Or will you and up to three friends take on the role of Dr. Abraham Van Helsing, Dr. John Seward, Lord Arthur Godalming, and Mina Harker as they attempt to stop him before his bloody plans bear fruit?
Fury of Dracula is a game that emphasizes hidden movement and teamwork, with the hunters having to coordinate their movements to close the net on Dracula. Dracula has a host of tricks and traps up his sleeves, to misdirect and hide from the hunters - but the hunters are armed with plenty of tools too! Each hunter provides a new way to play, with unique stats and abilities to aid them in the fight against this ancient evil.
Dracula himself has a range of unholy powers to call upon, allowing him to transform and enthral humans, along with transforming into a bat or mist in order to escape the hunters.
Once the hunters and Dracula finally clash, bloody and gruesome combat ensues. Nobody is safe as Dracula lashes out at his pursuers, and the hunters battle against the inhuman and immortal Count. Featuring a card-based combat system that rewards bluffing and tactical choices, no two clashes are the same.

This game is busted, especially the multiplayer. Multiple game-breaking glitches ruined our ability to get any playthroughs done.
How does a group of people screw up such a wonderful board game.
I could get around the poor art and graphics if the UI and other aspects were somewhere close to usable.
TL:DR Don't waste money on this, play it on Tabletop Simulator or better yet buy the real board game.
No way to click and drag the game board around, you have to click a button in the top right corner to zoom. Then in zoomed mode you can only move the map around by clicking on the cities. Need to see the other side of the region to plan your move, you have to zoom out and then zoom back in and click another city. For a hidden movement game, looking and exploring the map is vital to figuring out where Dracula is.
The map has no way of providing the names of the regions. They are simple missing, guess we don't need them here. There is also no option to turn on the city names, you have to mouse over any city you want to see the name of. Maybe this would be easier if you grew up in Europe as you would probably know all the cities, but I know at best the major ones. While I will not be playing this any more, I can see the problem if you ever wanted to play co-op with others. Communication is key and not displaying the region and having such a janky way of seeing the names of the cities would make comms painfully slow.
Card selection is bizarre. I still don't know how it works. You draw a card and then it has two boxes, one says Choices and the other says Selected. Well if you click on the card it to goes to selected and the only button that comes up says Discard. I'm sure if I played more I would figure it out, but why. It should be obvious 100% on how to choose your cards. Why can't I just click and drag cards, characters and the map around?
The graphics are so poor, like they just took digital photos of the board game and passed them through a filter that made them look cheap. Doesn't look like they used bump-mapping or any kind of 3d effects. I don't know if they even have 2d effects. The flavor boarders when you have to select something are distracting and looked like they were made in paint. Animations, if you could call them that are mostly just a sprite or gif being dragged across the board. The character pictures have an animation that makes it look like everyone has autism where they all rock back and forth. (Nothing against peeps that have the condition.) I simply cant wrap my head around the art design. They could have kept the original art but made it so much better.
Even in my brief play I can tell the character AI is bad, simply bad. There is one character that has the ability to check an entire region to see if Dracula is there. Do the NPCs try and coordinate to take advantage of that, no. Even though that is one of the strongest abilities the hunters have, especially in the early game. Another NPC burnt cards for no reason, cards that would have come in handy later. I only played for half an hour and could tell that this was going to be bad. I'm sure that it would super easy to game-the-system if you were to put in a minimal amount of time into this version of the game.
Honestly, this is a step back from Nomad's release of Talisman: Digital Edition and they made that back in 2012. For a developer to not improve in art, action, or AI in a decade is sad.
Nomad games have done an excellent job of doing the absolute best to make this replicate the board game as thoroughly as possible. Over the past year they have provided the discord community with one patch after another every time striking closer to the target. Nowadays it is hard to think of ANY differences. All that aside even before all those patches came round this game made playing a extremely long physical game into a much smaller time commitment. Buy the game and if you like the board game you will love this.
Just like the board game!
Amazing fun game with friends!
It's a Board game, it ain't perfect. But I like it. Seems to be best with Three people (One is Dracula and the other two play two hunters each), but supports up to five. Being able to talk to each other is a must and yes Dracula gets to listen as well (Secretly sweating or smiling, while y'all discuss where he might be).
Mystery = Check
Strategy = Check
Build your hunters up = Check
Maturing secret schemes as Dracula = Check
Flavour = Check
If this sounds like your type of electronically automated board game, then get on sale with friends.
The 3D map graphics are poor and lack clarity. Panning the map when zoomed in is difficult, not sure if it's supposed to be locked in place or it's just janky because sometimes it moves and sometimes not. Most annoyingly every player action is presented as a full screen popup and interacting with some of these popups to select and discard cards/tickets is confusing. Overall the UI/UX is pretty bad, elements are nicely themed visually but it's painful interacting with popups all the time.
I think a lot of the issues probably come from the game being made for mobile devices and playing on PC unfortunately suffers for it.
It's pretty good, multiplayer works fine.
