LOGistICAL 2 is a large open-world, strategy, puzzle game where you transport different cargoes to complete all the towns throughout the country.
The whole game is a huge puzzle while each town is its own little piece of puzzling. There are thousands town and other items to complete.
Plenty of towns are easy enough. Some take complex planning. Do them in your own order. Get bonuses for completing regions and contracts.
Some cargoes are easy to get. Others you have to create in industries. Use existing industries and build your own.
The further you get from the start the more strategies you have to use.
Boost up your trucks with bonuses. Last truck delivering gets the bonus.
The towns, roads and map are to scale. Current or historical industry placement. It is very educational as well as entertaining.
There is plenty more to keep you on your toes.
Towns consume the cargoes you are trying to get to completion.
Big trucks are great for moving lots of stuff, but can't travel everywhere.
There are lots of broken roads that need deliveries.
Upgrade the industries for better exponential throughput.
Cargo stores can sure come in handy.
What! I can't take my big trucks across the water on a ferry.
... and what is with those quarantine checkpoints?
Complete towns, roads, industries, contracts, regions and states for lots of in-game and Steam achievements.
LOGistICAL 2 continues version 2 of the LOGistICAL puzzle family. The map has been enhanced and the towns are everywhere plus many other new functions.
Many new LOGistICAL 2 updates will also be backward compatible for LOGistICAL 1 modules.
* New road mapping
* Thousands of mini towns to complete with many different resource requirements
* Hundreds of towns and thousands of mailboxes and other places to complete
* Supply and finish many large cities
* Work your way through the long complex maze of road enhancements to finally allow all your large trucks access across the state or country
* Many, many other small and large puzzles and situations to complete.
LOGistICAL 2 brings you all the fun and puzzling of LOGistICAL with even more towns, more puzzles and much more to do.

Not a game for everyone, but if it's for you, you'll find there are hundreds of hours of play to be found. Be sure to check out ALL the games by this dev and educate yourself on how the Dev has refined their formula over time. Personally, I like the older games as some of the newer features add more complexity than I could comfortably cope with.
There are several "scenarios" that are Free here on Steam, so again, look through the Dev's catalog and try out the Free tutorials and smaller scenarios. If you play the free stuff and want more, there is A LOT more to be had at reasonable prices.
this is a very interesting puzzle/strategy game w/ TONS of content. the main objective is to deliver goods to various places using a plethora of vehicles & figure out ways to make this easier as one progresses. at times it will seem overwhelming, however, a solution is always available. and there are many Steam discussion posts available to help a player & a Discord community as well.
while the game has a sort of "standard" play design for each module/map, every module has a unique set of parameters to figure out & there is always a challenge- no matter which module you choose.
this isn't really an "idler" type of game, it could be seen that way at times because certain approaches to a particular solution may take some time- especially when starting a new module.
if you are looking for a casual yet challenging game, the likes of which you've probably never played before, check out this game.
Great grinder. Big bang for buck (other currencies may be applicable).
Excellent logistics sim. Challenging but when you succeed it feels all the better. As others have stated the UI is unintuitive but once you get used to it that doesn't matter at all. A whole lot of time can be spent trying to complete everything.
LOGistICAL 2 features a much more complex road map and more things to complete than its predecessor. This game also introduced a lot of bugs which were not present in the original game, however at this point most of these have been fixed and the developer is very quick to update the game if you report any problems on the discord server.
The gameplay is still very similar to the first game; while hard to get into at first, it is very satisfying to work towards completion. If you're not sure whether you like it there are free modules available to try it out.
I very much enjoy the game as it fills a niche I didn't know existed at first, and offers more content than well over 99% of games out there, and I always look forward to a new module's release.
I think this is a fantastic game and series, it is easy to kill hours and hours and not realize it.
This review was done against the "Washington" module.
I had a whole long review here before Steam ate it so here's the short version since I don't want to rewrite the whole thing (seriously Steam?).
Runs awful, is missing tons of quality of life features, freezes all the time, excessively complex in a way that's not terribly interesting or puzzling, extremely ugly, and overall a step down from the first game.
Specific pain points are locking basic materials in annoying and hard to reach places (imo this should be reserved for more advanced industries, so there's a progression from basic -> advanced cargo), too much topographical detail (zoom in to upgrade the three pixel section of road you couldn't see!), and a lack of basic automation features besides "repeat task".
Overall, there is a lack of design clarity which severely hurts this game.
I'm going to keep playing. But the developer of this series needs to take a step back and do some serious QOL work on these titles. I've been playing them for years and they always have the same frustrating UX issues.
I wasn't sure if i was going to stick with the game originally, only because the UI when you first start a module it takes a little bit to get used too. But i'm very glad I decided to stick with it.
Every Module = Country, Your trucking company is responsible for delivering goods to industry as well as towns. You will also have roads to fix. Many roads with many different resources which you have to locate on that countries map. Sounds easy doesn't it. Well, that's not always the case, because sacada the developer always has tricks or puzzles up his sleeve. Some puzzles aren't to difficult, and some have me dumbfounded, like hmmm, how do i handle this wrinkle. For me this is one of the things about the game I really enjoy.
The puzzles, can be anything like finding oil, or wood, or steel which is in high demand, or it could be obstacles like quarantines. Or how do i unlock an industry i need and have to fill. How many trucks will it take to fill what the population wants and fill it before the population uses it all. This is just some of the examples of some of the puzzles. The Logistical games start out slow, but over time you gain speedups to make the job of moving your trucks and your industry products faster.
Now that i've played awhile and got used to how the UI works, this game has become one of my favorite games on steam. I love the challenges sacada puts in the game. Actually all his games. No matter what country you decide to play you'll have puzzles to face, and some countries will have different puzzles to figure out. Delivering your goods to your industries and fixing roads are in all the games.
And what i will say about the Developer sacada, this man is very dedicated to his games. He fixes bugs when they crop up. He's always working on the next country he wants to put out.
Score: 9/10
Elite puzzler. Too much fun. Sacada is a genius
First Id just like to say thank you to Sacada for all his great games, and for this modul especially.
Alot of my Steam friends probably wonder why i enjoy and play these particular games. Almost all of my Steam library is devoted to games that allow me to escape from reality or live an alternate version of it. Not these games though.
These are wonderful to me for a whole nother reason. You see my step father drove Truck for a living. He drove everything from dump trucks all the way up to the double trailer semi's (he refused to haul triples, said they were to likely to dog tail.) I wont lie and pretend we had a great relationship while I was growing up, He was a hard man with plenty of his own faults. But i'll never forget the mornings he would get me up pre dawn, drive us out to the Truck, and take me out on the road with him. He always wanted his own truck, but never managed to get one. But these games remind me of him and those better days every time I play them. Id like to think he would have enjoyed them too.
This module in particular excites me, because of course, I live in Texas = ) So Russia will just have to wait, until Texas is finished!
I like this game. It's not for everyone, but now with the free modules, you can see if you will like it before buying.
LOGistICAL series is a bunch of games where you drag trucks on a map to send resources from towns with industries to other towns. There are a lot of modules already each representing different countries or USA states and each of them has slightly different mechanics and puzzle parts, like quarantines, building restrictions, plane lines, different sizes of roads, etc.
This LOGistICAL 2 game contains three tutorials from L1 and L2 series, free XMas 2017 module (nodes represent whole countries with enourmous requirements and without consumption), ABC Islands module from L1 (Aruba, Bonaire and Curasao islands with easy towns, kinda like demo module for L1 to introduce new players to mechanics), free Suriname module (few town and a lot of businesses with very small requirement which unlock new industries all over the place) and Indonesia-Bali (first part of the Indonesia module which is being sold using microtransactions model inside the game).
For beginners I recommend starting with one of the tutorials or going straight into the ABC Island module. For people who are familiar with the series already Suriname and Indonesia modules could be fun and new experience. And for people who want long term game which you can play passively while playing other games or modules I recommend XMas 2017 module.
Overall the game is really interesting, it is very relaxing to complete town after town (some modules have 1000+ towns) and slowly upgrade you industries, fix roads and expand your resource network. It is worth checking out at least for the free modules. If you are going for some more modules, do some research, read description in store more carefully or ask on forum to understand how each module is different from the rest to find one that suits you better.
Follows on from the wonderful, addictive LOGistiCAL with various enhancements.
Much more complex than L1. The added businesses and two way roads, alone make this a great enhancement to L1. Road upgrades are interesting, though I have not seen an interesting use of them yet, aside from allowing truck types to traverse. As with L1, UI could use some love from a designer. Map redraw is a huge problem. Lots of times I have to pan the map a few times just to get it to redraw roads.
This looks like it would be a fun game if it had an even remotely reasonable UI.
Go with LOGistlCAL 1 modules. This one is broken as of now. If you're new to the series try out Hawaii or Neterlands. Leave LOGistlCAL 2 on your wishlist until it's fixed.
I am really enjoying this game.
Much of the time played is AFK, as I sometimes have to step away while routes run. Then I get sidetracked and watch a movie, and forget I left the game running.
I played some of the original, but the IRL map data makes it different to where I won't go back, but rather wait for the old content to be retrofit to the new format.
A couple tips.
1. Beware the 1-way streets to getting trucks trapped. Sometimes you have to either sell the truck or use a smaller truck to fix the road.
2. Back to point 1, sometimes a partially loaded truck will get stuck behind a restricted route. If you instruct the truck to dump it's entire load, it can deadhead on the lighter roads. If the truck is stuck with a partial load, you can cancel the load for a smaller penalty than selling and rebuying.
A couple of wishes.
1. some way to click-lock a selection, so I don't have to keep the key pressed while dragging the truck to the destination. Either click lock and drag, or click-select, right click to deploy.
2. I wish there were a clear or clearer indicator to show when a town has been partially completed. That is, if a town needs water, newspapers and motorcycles, and I have a truck full of newspapers, but a town already has motorcycles, then that town should show, I dunno, purple, white, some color other than orange or green. Green will show if the town already has what you are carrying. But nothing will show which towns are partially completed.
Make sense?
To put it plain, if a town requires X, Y and Z, but is already filled with X, and if my truck has Y or Z, it should have some way to distinguish such a town.
But, so far, definitely eating up my time.
OH
Please fix the music.
What about Logistical 2 ... That it's my favorite logistical? Highly possible!
It is played extremely well, the addition of business to unlock the cities, allows to progress little by little city after city, county after county, but for that we need some resources, which for some requires to prioritize an other city etc ...
The new road system, we like it or we do not like it, I think it makes the game more complete visually, sometimes we are a little surprised by the journey that takes our trucks when we want to make a city , for that it is necessary to zoom, there are small arrows which indicate us the direction of the roads etc ... so either one makes a city quickly or one prepares it, each one his game.
In short I would say that, whether or not you have previously done a logistical, it will bring you a good experience.
I'm changing my review to a recommend, based on the fact that the developer has addressed 3 of my 4 main complaints. The game now runs well, and responds well, and I haven't had issues with trucks getting stuck. Point #4 stands as a remaining issue, but since it's a main game loop for the Washington map, I doubt anything can be done about it. It's still tedious to try to solve thousands of little businesses, but the core gameplay is just as good as any previous.
If you like Logistical, than this is going to be good for you too.
Old review below:
I hate to give this a negative review, because I love Logistical. But this version is just broken, and at times, unplayable. Here are my biggest issues after about 40 hours trying to play it:
1. (FIXED) Features just don't work as they should. You put 5 trucks into a group and assign them to bring wood from one town to another, but only 1 truck goes. This happens over and over, and there's no way to fix it.
2. (FIXED) Pathing is just terrible. Especially in longer route. For example, Iron is at a very far town away from the main starting area, and you need a ton of it brough over. However it can take up to 3 full minutes from the time you assign a truck to go get the iron until it figures out a route and actually starts to head there. The distance is enough of a delay you don't need this extra waste of time for the game engine to figure out a route. This happens even when you just assigned a truck from the same town, the game doesn't remember the route it just assigned, and it takes another 3 minutes for the before the next truck goes.
3. (FIXED) It's possible to trap your trucks in a spot where you can't get them back. The game will actually allow you to bring materials to fix a road down a 1-way street, and there isn't a way for the trucks to get out, because the 1-way back is broken differently. So 3 times now I've had my entire fleet stuck to where then only thing I could do is sell them so I could buy a new one to continue the game.
4. There is roughly 3.5 billion too many businesses that need to be solved. Seriously I can't count how many places need 0.4 to 0.8 tonnes of newspaper. It's tedium beyond necessity.
I know the dev is working on things, and I hope to be able to recommend it soon. In it's current state though, I cannot.
Poor Graphics and some really confusing logics.
The game is okay i guess and has most of the elements you would expect from a simulation game of this type.
But the Graphics are really really poor, the UX is just bad, and the handling just feels off.
The Concept of the game has potential just the execution (especially graphic wise) failed miserably here.
I can't recommend this game.
