baby car
What is worse than hitting your mom in her birthday? Short answer: play this game. Almost 16 hours wasted to get 100 % in a browser game that is not even good or entertaining. See the car... he have stoopid face, like he enjoys jumping as the thot he is. This game was made during the presidency of Obama. Ty 1/10 (★☆☆☆☆).
Literal baby in a car could've made this game and it still would look and play better
so realistic
Babycar Driver is a "template" flip. The "developer" filled out a basic template in the craptastic ClickTeam Fusion (a blight on gaming), changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game.
This time they ripped off a basic template for an endless runner/platform jumper... it's extremely bad, as we'll get into shortly, but of course this is what should be expected from known Russian asset flip scammers.
MCS/W.T.B. have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Jetpack Dog" = 2D Endless Runner Game Kit developed by SG Studio
- "Happy New Year Clicker" = Clicker Game Example developed by Some Packs Team
- "How To Be Best Russian Game Developer" = Clicker Game Example developed by Some Packs Team
- "Too White Basketball" = Dude Basket developed by Feat Games
- "Kawaii Rainbow Portal" = Infinite Jump Color Game developed by Puppeteer
- "Cut The Ex-Girlfriends" = Cut The Wood developed by Mamadou Cisse
[*] "W.T.B." = RGB a casual one touch game developed by MAD Entertainment
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The implementation here is of such poor quality, the developer couldn't work out how to make the game display in fullscreen, it only runs in a window.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Clickteam Fusion game engine/toolset - the "No-Code" construction kit that "Anyone can make games with!!". Including, you know, people who aren't game developers. Which is a problem. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameMaker Studio). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes "Babycar Driver" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 6 players. That's right, only 6. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason.
It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Babycar Driver is relatively cheap at about $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
Rocket league
You may think this game is for children, but in reality its for grown men. At first it seems like a childish car game, but in truth, its nothing like that, it portrays serious themes like nihilism and shows us how is our society fucked up.. Overall this game changed how i view life as a whole, in my opinion this game is truly splendind, the way it captures amazing landscapes is awesome as well. Ive had great time while playing. The lore is great too, i found the main character inspiring, his writing is amazing, i fell in love with him at the first glance.
this game is incredible. i thought gta driving was the most accurate driving simulator we had, until i found this. this game is mind blowing.
This game is one of those games, that you would avoid.
A platformer with a smiling car, where gameplay only is based on jumping. Sounds easy enough, but it's far from it. Once the speed increases to a level, where everything just start passing by so insanely fast, you will begin to realize how toxic a game this is to your eyes. The game is not difficult at all, just too unbalanced to be played, so It's not even worth the try. I will therefore not recommend this game, even if it was for free, and I personally don't have any intention of playing it again ever. So make yourself a favour and keep you library clean from this piece of junk.
At first glance, the game is super casual and childish. However, it took me a long time to complete even one level.
Peace of shit

I'm playing a game called Babycar Driver at 4:29 in the morning and I'm loving life
Probably the best game on Steam!
This game is the prime example of a good game. There are no cons to this game and honestly everything is perfectly balanced would love to see a sequel to this game. Maybe Baby Car Driver 2? I personally see this as a game in my top 5 maybe in top 2. Honestly this should get the Game of the year award because this has the high quality gameplay every wants and needs. 10/10
TL;DR: Takes at LEAST 16 hours of perfect runs to 100% this game
Pros:
- Jumping is easy to get used to
Cons:
- Random death zones on platforms
- With sound enabled, there is a very high pitched noise when jumping (unintended?)
- Fullscreen does not work
- After 20,000 score, the game soon breaks (No platforms, platforms moving up or down, character disappearing)
- Contrast between platforms and background is atrocious in the Desert and Arctic levels
- Have to enter the medals page to unlock achievments through Steam
- Unlimited jumps by holding space when unpausing (but breaks the game if done too often?)
- Currency is at a terrible ratio, 2 Qubes for every 1,000 score. Needs to be higher.
- Stars are not worth collecting at only 100 score
- Silver trophy button does not work and is not explained (just a 2x modifier to your Qubes?)
- Microtransaction button to buy Qubes does not work
