I love this game. Glad to see its still around. Play it. Its worth it.
This game had little or no advertising at all. I would highly recommend the developers to advertise because there is literally no fanbase.
Tried it. Stuck at the tutorial, because I am supposed to drink a healing potion, which is impossible with full life. Retried: Same issue. Afterwards I could not even open a match. No other lobbies online. Had a female character and wasn´t able to change that. Unplayable at he moment. Asking for refund.
Actually the game is really fun and worth the price, idk if im fighting bots or not buts im having fun the only issue is the dash system everytime you dash you teleport all around the map if they fix that would be awesome, also beware this game has battle pass and i didnt knew that :(
This game is really fun and has an amazing potential. Usually I do not write any reviews but I would like to see more players enjoying this game.
It is an easy to learn - hard to master game with a combat system wich allows very tactical but fast action.
Players can equip two melee Weapons and there are diffrent primary and secondary attacks/attack combos for every weapon. Players can also equip a shield or various ranged weapons and one magic spell, both working with a cooldown. Weapons and spells can be equipped with several items to increase/modify thier potential.
To prevent damage, players can equip several armor pieces and dodge enemy attacks. A succesful dodge also prvides the chance to counterattack.
The game works pretty much like known Battle Royale titles. Getting to your landing zone, loot stuff, run from areas that let you suffer HP damage, fight enemys, revive squad members in a three player squad... but in a very unique sidescrolling and souls-like fighting style. A very cool mixture.
I recommend this game a lot. The price is not much, so give it a try and have fun, see ya on the battlefield :-)
Went in expecting it to be garbage due to the low price and the whole "battle royale" angle. However, the game is actually pretty good and an interesting concept, rough around the edges but with some polishing and a larger player base it could be some serious fun.
Genre - 2D Battle Royale
I am a massive fan of the concept of Battle Royale but have struggled to find a game that doesn't have some crazy building mechanic or just turn into a Twitch Shooter at the end of the game, with campers always winning the round.
This game actually has an interesting loot and combat system, that allowed me to get to the end on both games I played. You will be put into random dungeons and fight away from the killer mist to the centre and escape. Of course when I did the usual frantic action ensued, ending with my death and in one case the death of the person who chased after me. If you have played some of the modern 2D sword fighting games, you should be able to handle yourself quite well. There is a lot of opportunity to get equipped before your first fight and a lot of items to turn the tide of battle, if used correctly,
All in game purchases seem to be cosmetic only and there is plenty of opportunity to unlock stuff just by playing the game. It is only EA at the moment but the idea is great and seems fairly balanced. There is potential to add a load more items.
Maybe some traps and AI monsters would be nice to spice up the map, Also if they could find a way to make the end game even more interesting, that'd be appreciated! Although no Battle Royale game has managed to do that yet...
The best way to describe this game is as a combination of the look and map style of Castlevania and the combat of Dark Souls as a Battle Royale. If you like those games and want to play a Battle Royale, but don't like FPS games, I recommend you buy Soulfire.
Despite that this game has some problems. One is the fact, that it has some bugs, like the player character not walking, but teleporting forward if you move at any speed, which isn't normal walking, including sprinting, another one is the relatively low ammount of players, resulting in you often fighting against bots.
But these problems don't make the game unenjoyable and should get solved in the not so distant future.
So my recommendation still stands.
Absolutely awesome and fun to play. It's super easy to get started but it takes a hell of a lot of time to master.
Way more fun than I initially expected. The combat is very visceral and you need to think and act quick and smart to stay alive till the end and survive. A lot of kill opportunity too, not just hiding around like a lot of BR.
This game feels pretty polished for early access. It's great to play with a friend. I love battle royale but suck at shooters. This game is much better for rpg players.
Some cons are since it's early access alot of the systems like ranked and other maps are missing. Also it seems the games fill with alot of bots. I would like to see a scoring system or name list added as well. Not very many skins to choose from. You can only play as a white male or female.
Definitely reccomend.

Pros
+ Overall art of the game is good.
+ Three types of control settings whichever you fancy. (KB + MS, KB, Controller)
= Not exactly a bad thing but the narration is a Bastion imitation.
Cons
- Freezes every couple of second. My machine should be powerful enough for it's simplistic graphics.
- Controls aren't smooth and there's so much unnecessary delay and animations that could be changed for a more fluid gameplay.
- Low playerbase.

This might remind you of a good game you enjoyed in the past or this might be the casual you're looking for but overall, I just couldn't get into it. There's so much better side-scrolling fighting/rpgs out there that's worth your money and time.
Dark Souls is my favourite series of all time :) I found that my roll reflexes, as well as timing, have translated perfectly to this game! I won my first match, but I felt the same feeling of just hanging on like in the Souls series. I think this game is brilliant and will become even more so as the online community grows. 9/10
This game is very fun. nice of fun toys and tools to use against your enemies. no pay to win which is a plus for me and the skins you can buy (alot by packs) are nice also you get special currency to buy more skins when you get dupes. my main concern with the game is the random bits of lag. that will actually cause you lose when your in a tough fight. or the face you try to run away but the sprint button refuses to work when your up against a 3 man team by yourself. i'm still playing this game but i would be great if some of the issues it has be looked at.
This game reminds me of my childhood SEGA console games, old-school combined with the new battle royale modes ( there have been in the past few years a few games in flash and java etc with battle royale sort of ,2d fighting stick-men etc lol but not as good as this one though )
The soundtrack is nice,the fighting also, design if you like games like this one, Darkest Dungeon etc is also lovely. The gameplay ,well, this is what Prince of Persia meets PUBG would've been hah, very nice gameplay.
CONs - only the players count, but that will rise more and more since this is a new game so you will find players more often in the future. Even as i'm writing this the game has plenty players but waiting few minutes for a queue will be a few seconds only ,in the future,when more people find this unique gem.
And remember praise the Sun ! (or for my redbros and blue sentinels, praise the FUN )
tried the free version and liked it, so i decided to pick up the full version. It is not without bugs but the dev team seems to be active and responsive to the player base. I like the concept of the side scrolling battle royal so i'm interested to see where this game goes.
If you enjoy metroidvania games and always wondered what pvp would be like... this is it. 10/10 in my book and I am really looking forward to what the future brings with this one.
Very fun take on battle royale. The combat is difficult but rewarding.
truly a great game. currently it has a lot of bots to fill the game while they build there player base but the bots are actually well crafted and use a few effective combos (sadly once you know about them you can take advantive of the bots) if you have played salt and sanctuary the combat and map is like that. its been updated quickly and now its got a free demo (thats actually the whole game minus the cosmetics) theres literally no reason to not at least get the demo.
This game is a lot of fun. It's definitely a battle royale, but the combat feels more...tactical rather than chaotic. It's a little hard to describe, but even though there are probably more bots than human players it's still satisfying to get into some fights and grab some loot. I think this game would have benefited from being free to play, as not having enough players feels like it is the only real problem the game has right now. The Game will start after exactly 2:15 of queue pretty much no matter what, so that's cool. Hopefully this picks up enough support and the devs don't take any weird twists in direction, because I really enjoy this and I'd like to see it pick up some competitive steam.
I kinda like the artwork of the Game but its so difficult to find any other players im totaly of 15 min in que and cant find any other players... mayb i play on bad times well.. ill take a look back in a near future couse the game looks really good and much fun but it need wwaaayyy more players , guys gogogo take a look and test it out worth it! :D
