i really love idol animes and this game is perfect for anyone who does, too!
I love this game, the story is whatever in my opinion, nothing special, But i love management games, it is very straight forward in what you do, however it's very easy to go bankrupt if you put yourself in a position to go downhill early, after you get going though you never have to look back as you'll probably never have money issues again. I do wish there was more involvement with the things, but the way the game is built isn't really necessary, just would be nice. It's unfortunate there's nothing else really like this idol management out there right now as of this review, or even a sequel that i hope for one day.
This was decent fun on release and really promising.
Unfortunately though, the last patch dates back from September 2021, just days after the games release and has been left without patches/updates despite existing problems.
Top notch management game with superb story and plenty of depth with additional content/events. The bankruptcy and/or making money problematic is easily avoidable if you make use of the free loans and scale up properly. Has an active modding community as time of this writing its still going. Have not encountered any of the gamebreaking bugs like unable to progress past certain dates.
Simple and addicting gameplay loop with good replayability value. Pick up if you like simulation games
I bought this on a whim and ended up loving it! It can be kind of tricky at first but once you hit a good run its so much fun.
One of the best game for wasting your time
If you like idol culture, management games or anime you will probably like this game. I had no knowledge of the idol industry before playing, but I ended up really liking it.
You can be a nice manager, give your idols room to breathe, befriend or even romance them, and help them achieve their dreams. Or you can be a strict manager, forbidding them from dating, working them to exhaustion and using blackmail to keep them in line. The choice is yours.
You earn money through business deals such as photo shoots or advertisements, releasing music and organising concerts. Survival is a real struggle in the early stages, and you will probably fail several times before you find a playstyle that suits you. Late in the game it is unfortunately far too easy to make money, I would have liked more of a struggle.
But remember, you have to keep your idols in line while all this is going on. Maybe a group of them will start bullying the new girl, maybe they will start secretly dating someone even though dating is forbidden, resulting in a huge scandal, or maybe they will post something stupid on social media, resulting in one of your advertising deals being cancelled.
There are a lot of different random events and there is also a main story to follow. The writing and art make it worth playing through at least once. The music is okay, but nothing groundbreaking, but then again, you don't expect that from a management game.
There is one thing you should know before you buy this game: There is a time freeze bug, where time stops advancing no matter what you do. To avoid this bug, NEVER destroy a room that has a trainer/manager on auto train/auto deal. If the time freeze still happens, as it did for me twice, you can uninstall and reinstall the game and it should work again. At least it did for me.
But that is the only bad thing I can say about the game. Other than that, I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

Hollywood makes me so uncomfortable on the inside :(
It has a lot of content that is varied and fun, challenging yet not unreasonably difficult. It is fairly well-balanced to not get boring for quite a while. It has some beautiful artwork and fine music, though the music can start feeling repetitive. The story and the characters are also interesting enough, with some philosophical preaching that one might find interesting if he/she is into it like me, but otherwise nothing that can ruin one's experience (you can just click through it :D ). Overall, quite recommending this game.
And so that I don't just list the positives, though they are the dominant force for this game, the biggest negatives would be more of a technical nature: some bugs here and there (not making the game unplayable, though), really weird saving and loading options, as well as slight quality of life things missing here and there.
This game is so brutal and unbalanced
Even if you use mods to balance the game, there is a bug in the base game which makes the game freeze on a certain date (may 24th for me) and there's no way to fix it.

It's a solid game. Got a few decent runs in a couple years ago on release. I honestly forgot I even had this game until i randomly had the urge to play it again this week. Be aware, this game is unfortunately in pretty busted state nowadays with some serious game breaking bugs. Lost saves and broken time advancement are pretty common and it seems these bugs are never going to be fixed. The developer has completely abandoned the game and dropped off the face of the internet.
If you were hoping for a good seamless experience and potentially getting content updates in the future, I'd look elsewhere.

Long as I play to the end, this game is good but have some annoying bugs, but concept this game very good, i hope can next can be better.
Well, it's a good simulator which allows you to dive into Japanese world of show business and small idol agencies trying hard — just like an anime.
At the same time I could not miss mentioning a grindy side of this game and A LOT OF micromanagement at least in the beginning.
Still enjoyable though.

For the value of what you are receiving the gameplay is exceptionally engaging. Getting these bitches to stop bullying each other is stressful, while managing a fickle money situation. Just a warning: once you start playing, it’s hard to stop, and you might find yourself fully immersed in this captivating world. Bro's my relationship is taking a strain but I’m off to buy a ticket to Ano-Chan's performance in Japan.

I never knew I could undergo a constant state of being okay for 2 seconds, and then being millions of dollars in debt while also shoving idols into a doctors office for energy.
The game is fun and addictive, and it definitely has a good gameplay loop. However, it has been abandoned, and there may be game-breaking bugs.
