Cool rotating puzzle game.
Had a great deal of fun getting to 100% on this and still playing. Some of the earlier levels aren't very challenging, but if you stick with it the game gets tougher.
If you've ever played Infinity Loop on your phone, tablet, toaster oven, or EKG machine, you know what Milky Way Map is. If not, well, I guess that's why we're really here.
Milky Way Map, or MWM for shortitude, presents you with a field of lines that when rotated correctly, have no odd bits sticking out. I've played Infinity Loop, and while MWM is very similar, I like it better for many, many reasons. I shall tell you both of them.
MWW just looks nice. Not that I expect much visually from a line game, but it has nice lighting, making me feel as though I am playing in a fancy restaurant sipping champagne as I wait for my pancakes.
The other thing that makes MWM better is the variety of shapes. A lot of the line pieces are extra ornamental, adding a touch of class to the game, which just makes the pancakes taste a little better, you know?
So if you're looking for a new casual, mouse-only game to play while you dine, look no farther than the Milky Way. Heck, you may already be there.

A wonderful game. I actually enjoyed playing and solving the puzzles.

What you see is exactly what you get. You rotate paths until there are no loose ends. The puzzles are randomly generated, if you're stuck you can either scramble the existing paths or generate an entirely new set. If that sounds entertaining to you or you just feel like grinding for a few dozen or so achievements, go for it.
It displays on the wrong monitor and there's no way of changing it. I'm using Windows 10 x64 with 3400 x 1440 resolution and it always defaults to the 1080p television.

My positives
- Rotating not only clockwise but also counter-clockwise is a blessing when it comes to finishing the later levels where the board is larger; it's a time saver!
- Overall chill atmosphere of taking place in deep space, nice.
My negatives
- The filesize is 520MB after installing; thought it'd be at least less than 100MB! Sadly, this is one of the main reasons why I'm uninstalling due to using a SSD that generally has smaller space capacity than a mechanical hard drive.
- When playing in windowed, the mouse cursor can't escape the game window unless I Alt-Tab to make it go free; I can understand if I'm playing a first person shooter that requires the mouse to be locked in because when aiming with your firearm also acts as your camera control, but this seems unnecessary and increases friction when wanting to do non-gaming activities on the computer.
- The main gripe of this game, the difficulty due to how the levels are randomly generated, especially past level 40, is rather mixed. After the initial freshness of new and weird pieces after level 40, The only change in difficulty as the game progresses is the gradual board size increase. I would have to change up my tactics on how I tackle the levels as I struggle more at the later levels, and they would work, but even then I would have to rely on the refresh puzzle button on boards that seem impossible to my eyes. These kinds of feelings may go against the chill atmosphere that the game radiates with. I can't imagine having to deal with the harsher difficulty when it first came out before it got adjusted accordingly...
- No new visual hexagon pieces with zany shapes and stuff long after level 41's blast of new stuff, if assuming that there's no new gameplay elements (like say wraparound connecting pieces or a set of pieces that all rotate at once). One of the reasons that people keep playing Threes by Sirvo LLC beyond the gameplay is to see what's the next larger numbered piece gonna look like, what kind of personality it evokes, that kind of fun feeling of discovery. Maybe it would've made the difficulty more palatable by how fun-looking the new pieces are.
My eehs/neutral feelings
- You can only complete the game, but not beat it; I refer beating it as like finish the minimum amount of levels like say level 100 or just defeating the final boss without engaging with side content as an example. I didn't mind it too much.
- I find it rather strange that these symbols used on the Steam achievements don't seem to fit the theming of the game being set in space, interacting with the stars that is the game board, especially human figures; but I'm not exactly mad about it, just meh.
[*] Speaking of achievements; they're only given if you close the game; I can understand it might be a net negative for some that want to keep the exact track on when you got that achievement at what timestamp. Personally, it's more interesting to see how much I played every 10 levels I recorded for myself.
Overall, with my somewhat mixed feelings on the game, I give it a thumbs up, but barely. Personally, if my negatives and some of the my eehs/neutral feelings are addressed, I'm more likely to recommend it to anyone in general, but right now I feel that I can only recommend it to puzzle fans who may be able to deal with these shortcomings.

Attention does not work under Windows 10, tested at several friends, it's the same, the devellopeur does not correct, to avoid

I must say, it is better than I thought it would be. I got it while grabbing random cheap games becasue it looked cool, and it's better than most. It's very relaxing and fun for what it is. I'm currently at around level 115 or so, but I'm determined to get that 2000 achievement! :)
simple, yet challenging after the first 50 levels. The gameplay is addictive, the graphics are well done. No annoying scores, clocks, UI's nothing. Just pure puzzle relaxation
Very relaxing for my wife. She tells me what too do as I play...
