Our story begins in 1910 in Transylvania, where Adam Taylor, a nineteen-year-old boy, lives with his parents in a house on the edge of civilization. One day, upon returning home, Adam hears that his parents have started quarreling in the attic. Suddenly, all the lights in the house turn off. Picking up an old oil lamp, Adam goes in search of his parents. However, when he reaches the attic, there is nobody there. An unknown man has appeared in his house, and all the rooms have changed. Time has ceased to have a specific meaning.
In one of the rooms, Adam finds a note from an unknown person who claims to be Adam Taylor. Who is he? What does he have to do with what's happening to Adam?
This story continues in the twenty-first century, when Edward, an orphan, starts living in the very house where Adam's family once settled. He encounters the same creature. Will history repeat itself? How will Edward cope with this power? What happened to Adam?

Literally unplayable. It wouldn't recognize left-clicks outside of the menu.
nice game i m looking forward for the second chapter....
i dont know about this one..the game looks good but there is not enough content and the end of chapter 1 seems really weird and unfinished.And i think the devs kinda abandoned this game.
I really wanted to love this game, but I couldn't. It looked awesome on the store page, but it was unplayable for me. I couldn't see very much because it was too dark. There was a jump scare or two that startled me, but that was it. I had to wonder around the house and hope for stuff to happen. It is impossible to trigger any of the necessary story progression events, in a logical manner. You literally have to turn on a light in one room, for a scene to play out in a separate room. I was unable to play the entire game, so maybe it gets better, but I doubt it.
A great horror game. Even though its controls are a bit on the downside, i still recommend it once a few Acts to the game have been released. Other than that the 1.5 hours was worth it.
very clunky seems unfinished
once in attic feels like something is supposed to happen after that to progress but once pick up candle it says "go to attic" even though in the attic just dont get it if its broken or im missing somehting but went over the entire attic until candle blew out then gave up
Another dark game where you can't see anything easily or find your way around because it has to be in blackness to be spooky, or so the thinking goes. I got stuck at the very beggining and the dev did try to help which was a good sign. Many devs don't bother once they have your money, but this one got back to me. However after ages wandering around opening every drawer and cupboard looking for a torch I just gave up on the game in frustration. Life is too short. I can't recommend.
its really tough to review this one , i mean the fact is that they ripping things of Visage such as audio ques and the closent scene really? dont get me wrong though the game visually is stunning does need few fixes here and there but to the devs i suggest you clear out its a demo in a way , i hope to see more and the next progress of it looking forward to it
1 year has passed nothing has changed , no new updates games been pulled off steam gg devs
This one is really hard to write a review for. On the one hand the atmosphere is really good and there were definitely a few times that I got really scared. On the other hand, I thought I was buying a finished chapter to a game but it seems like this is only a Demo. The way I read the description was that this was Chapter 1 (Memories) and that it was a finished product. When you boot the game up though it says this is a Demo and the game definitely has some issues (or at least, I ran into some issues - others may not).
I eventually ran into an issue where I entered a room (with a very bright light) and the music bugged out. At that point, the game then froze. When I was finally able to move again, I was unable to leave the room. I interacted with everything in the room multiple times. There was a lion statue that would light up blue if I clicked E on it but it never did allow me to even look at the lion statue which was really odd. Anyway, I ended up closing the game to try to resolve the glitch and when I loaded it back up, it wanted me to start all over. I was 30 minutes or more into the game at that point so I stopped playing it.
There were issues where the controls weren't properly explained. The controls menu only lists 3 items but there are at least 6 keys that appear to have different functions. Giving us a comprehensive list of controls might help a bit. Half the time I was literally just hitting every button on the keyboard to try to figure out what the game wanted from me.
There were various other issues that I've listed in the Discussions section for this game so if you're interested, you can read that thread for more. In the end, at this exact point in time, I think I'm going to go with "Not Recommend" for this game. The thing is though, even despite the issues, I still really want to recommend it. The game itself is actually pretty good and the atmosphere is on point. They've got something really good here but selling us a Demo and then me having to lose all my progress and start over due to a glitch have made me not want to recommend it at this time. I will definitely change this to a "Recommend" if we A) get the full chapter and B) the glitch gets fixed because, the game itself is good and has potential.
