Only ONE puzzle! Very disappointing... Although this one puzzle was fun, we can't help but feel scammed. Very sad...
Puzzle for Kids is another asset flip from the shady "developers" at Boogygames, who continually steal the work of others (game demos and asset packs), change the name of them, and put them on Steam as a cash grab/scam, trying to get YOUR money for someone else's work! And it's not okay!
So today they've ripped off a very basic jigsaw puzzle game template, and stole some images from the internet, put the two together (probably took less than an afternoon for this one) and dumped it on Steam to try con gamers into paying for this trash.
Boogygames Studios have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Case Simulator Weapons and Armors" = Yet Another Case Opener developed by NeraQuam
- "Color By Number - Pixel Draw" = Pixel Art: Color By Number developed by Moana Studio
- "Pixel Art Monster - Color By Number" = Pixel Art: Color By Number developed by Moana Studio
[*] "Rainbow Duck" = Switch The Gravity developed by App Advisory
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game itself, as a basic jigsaw, it just the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/flash games, and hardly belongs on Steam.
The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. That's right, only 4. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason.
Puzzle for Kids is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the unethical nature of the developer this is impossible to recommend. Remember, if you buy games from shady/unethical "developers" and asset flippers, you're putting your money at risk.
This game way to hard i cant even solve one puzzle

I was looking for a game to play with my daughter, this worked perfectly.
To the people complaining about there only being one puzzle in the pack:
When you first open the program - it does not give you a choice as to which puzzle you will be doing. But when you go to open it up after the initial launch, it will give you a radio button choice of which puzzle you will be doing. After you finish a puzzle you have to close the program out and open it up with a new puzzle.
To the guy talking about bitcoin farming... I think you maybe downloaded something else with some hidden additions, because I am not seeing it on this program.
Not only did this game freak me out as I was playing this at 3:28am but this game was bitcoin farming too lmao. I checked task manager and this game somehow has 2 processes 1 called setup.exe and the other for the actual game. It uses 20% of my CPU load which with an i7 is pretty high for a game like this. Smartly it only bitcoin mines when you are in the window otherwise you tab out and it jumps back down to 0% usage.
I would recommend to stupid children who want to be bitcoin mined with I don't know a really old processor.
False advertisement. There is only one puzzle
Only one puzzle
This says that ther are, "Many bright Watercolour puzzle images.", but there is only one image and no way to chage it.
Watching the video for this game made my child say, "I want to do that one" pointing at one of the many images shown in the trailer, but none of these are available.
There was only one puzzle and it was a little creepy for a child.
