Mr. Prepper

1- game mechanics are janky, but fine, I tolerated it
2 - The main guy moves soooo slow, unless you are constantly double clicking everything to force him to run
3- I was like, ok got this game on sale for $4, I'll tolerate these-- until I got to "get Bob's red jacket" quest.
4-- Mine area, next quest needed a Key card for level 2, where I read is where Bob's red jacket is .... is behind a "big rock" that my guy keeps saying I need to buy a pickaxe from Bob (an NPC)
5-- But Bob wont move on or sell me anything if I dont give him his jacket
But the keycard I need for level 2 is behind an big rock, which need i pickaxe to move, which i need to buy from Bob, who wants his jacket before anything else, which I need the keycard to get to the next level, which is behind a big rock, which needs a pickaxe to move, which I need to buy it from Bob, who insists I find his jacket, but its on the next level, which I need a key card to get to, which is behind a big rock.... do you get what I am trying to say here?
5-- I would have to start a brand new game and hope that the stupid keycard is randomly generated in an accessable spot for me to move on with the game. I don't have the patience to do that, and besides, what if this happens again further into the game?
This game is tolerable at most, but the game play is terrible. I kept thinking this feels exactly like a mobile game without the micros and half the time I was expecting a box to pop up and say "if you want (insert item/area) you have to pay ($$$)".
Requested a refund and I better get it back... even $4 is too much to pay for this game

Tedious and buggy.
The game sometimes decides that it'll just not load or not end a conversation, or not stop firing a gun... forever.
Once you get stuck in a neverending loop, you have to reload, but because of the lack of a save button, there is no way to prevent restarting full days from the beginning.
Besides that, the lack of inventory optimization and and unnecessary stack caps make it quite annoying to manage. So in the end the game becomes more of a chore than fun. I played to the end once, and that was enough.

I would give this game at best a 3/10, the idea is cool, but the execution is terrible.

Very fun!

I took my time because I liked the idea of having a shelter hidden and working on it while pretending that you follow the rules. The game gives this feeling along with some nice humoristic touches of conspiracy theories and cliche. The game isn't about fighting and great exploratio as it says but mostly to give that feeling.
You build some rooms, craft items and use them to help you go on with the days and finish the final project. The fights and the exploration wasn't that intersting, fishing is boring (dlc), I didn't want to lose time on that, cooking was fun, every day chores was ok until a point I didn't care anymore. I build relation with the dog for more activities but I didn't see any activiities related to it.
I liked the graphics, the ideas in general.

Mr Prepper is prepping for nothing. It never happens. wtf is the point?

Game is filled with subtle leftist propaganda.

Progressing through the game is hard-locked behind completing lame errands that distract from building and prepping the bunker.

It's impossible to prep properly because the food spoils way too fast. Jam spoils in 7 days in this game. WTF.

Devs clearly know nothing about prepping, probably because they're soy boy leftists.

Also, the president in this game looks nothing at all like Biden.

This is a very interesting and entertaining game. Some boast playing a 30 day game but I like to take my time. There are many missions to complete and tasks to accomplish. Great game.

after 40+ hours of playing, more and more bugs appear in the game --> workbench slipped thru the ceiling, just standing still in the dessert and moving isnt possible anymore, and more and more.

only criticism im going to make is about the way of telling to story. specially players who are not familiar the games like that are struggling to understand which way they need to focus or what the main story is around. because this is really shaping the strategy that you want to build.

Nice little "Fallout Shelter" sim. Has a lot of "Go here, do that" kind of stuff. I would like to have a little more of the builder part of the game verses the errand boy aspect. Lot's of stuff to do and build. Overall not a bad game, it's interesting to say the least.

So, there was this hippy couple. Fallout Shelter and the sims ( And I mean the SIMS 1 ). It was all fresh new and exciting. One night, high on various substances, they participated in an orgy with A group of one of those mobile phone point and click fellas. Now it turned out they were pregnant. Not knowing whom the father was and from A moral stand of view, they had decided to keep the child and raise it as their own. And thus Mr.Prepper was born. There where no sings at birth and the first stages of growth develops as wat might to be expected in naturally growth from A premature child ( early access ) . But sometime in the future development takes another turn and now he is some wat Gumping it around as one might say. The phrase from Jenny “are you stupid” starts to get A whole lot of more meaning from now on.

I like the idea of having to prepare to evade the "govrnment". not too serious but extremely fun.

I have to dig.... but not too far or the lizard people at the center of the earth will get me. Underground the radio waves cannot control my brain. Do you have enough alcohol for the end of the world? You know, THEY are listening.

Ever want to let out your inner conspiracy-theory crazy guy? Look no further.

Oh, and the gameplay is fun.

There's a loop and routine that becomes addictive. I'm enjoying it.

I wish there was a porn mod for this game.

Mr.Prepper is a great game to take up your time and have fun in doing so. It keeps you active and on your toes to make sure different needs are met and allows a good smooth progression in the technology in the game. For real, come check it out if you like crafting games with a different take on the survival aspect.

I just don't enjoy it that much.

Nice game, if you can take it for what it is - a campy parody of a dystopian society, that makes a lot of jokes around conspiracy theories.

The gameplay can be repetitive at times, and gets a bit grindy towards the end game but generally offers some sense of progression and has some nice base building. Combat is quite ridiculous and not really a huge challenge. The agent checks are also very trivial and not really a challenge - in 5 in-game months the only time I got a slight suspicion was when the agent saw me carrying an axe when I opened the door.

The only real enemy is the clock as you may often fail to go back to the base quickly enough and you faint. The story is really pointless and you are better off ignoring it and just follow the instructions to progress.

Game is more a sleep and eat simulator. A major part of the game is taken up by getting food and eating and then managing stamina.

First game ended quickly. Had to learn the ways in the second save. ;-;

I bought this on sale not expecting much but DAMN it's fun. There's story, and decent graphics, and a dog. I highly recommend the cheap but awesome DLC. Keep making these, I will keep playing them.

I HATE THE ANTI-CHRIST!

Played the game for a few hours and just got bored of it, just can't get into it. Good concept, but just not engaging. Controls clunky, instructions confusing and most of the time the game won't let me do what I want, just says it's not a good time to do that. Gave up in the end.

What an incredible story.

It was a perfectly challenging the whole way through.
It can be frustrating in same cases, so I do recomend using the guide ahead of key points.
Saves you a few hours of replaying long parts.

Overall, great game.

Beat the game, enjoy all the content.

is bit Mid for those who like Challenges like This War of Mine, but better than Fallout Shelter. The story is a bit comedic with conspiracies and silly plots, but more suitable for a morning cereal story. The progression is very fun as you start with Jungle and two basements then after progress is become a stable bunker.

The music is anyoing, they use asset music that can be reused over and over again. is big meh


Should you buy this game?
Yes, for those who want a challenge and like This War of Mine, but hate Fallout Shelter. This game is very fun.

Why shouldn't you buy this game?
If the visuals are like YouTube ads and the music is boringly repetitive, then don't get your hopes up

its a good game but like a lot of people are saying its a slow game. every thing you have to manually do it your self there are many task a day you gotta do like water plants and refuel equipment etc...

Playing on Mac (M4) works like a charm. Very fun game.

I think there might be a good game in here, but if there is, it's buried under suuuuuuper tedious and time consuming make-work you have to do every single goddamn day over and over and over again. By the time I got a few days into the game, I was surprised I didn't have to cut down trees and manufacture toilet paper so I could manually wipe my ass every morning.
