Выбирайте собственное приключение и завоюйте сердце монстра своей мечты, пока никто другой этого не сделал! This game plays like a board game, and like most board games it's only fun with friends. I tried it 2- and 3-player and it was pretty entertaining. The randomness and how ludicrous some of the conversations are were pretty entertaining, and we enjoyed arguing over our answers to the "who goes first?" segments between rounds.
There are several different routes with each character, different characters to choose from, and you can have fun sabotaging each other's love lives, so it has plenty of replay value.
Definitely recommended for board game fans, just don't play it alone.
An absolutely terrifically silly ride with some heart wrenching moments. I played it with my friends and its so fun to cheer on their downfall as they fumble the bag over and over. It's less fun when you get rejected tho, but that's okay, rematch. Also Semester 2 is JUST SO GOOD. I love all the new characters and its even better that they show up in Monster Camp too.

I have played this game 100's of times and the modding community for it adds even more hours to it! If you were on the fence it is worth the whole price, and if it is ever on sale it should be an immediate grab for any sim dating lover out there.
Love this game, just be aware it's addicting but a great source of dopamine. I find myself playing when I've had a bad day and ending up giggling like a school gal throughout it.
accidentally got the ending where one of the love interests gets assassinated and everyone goes to her funeral in the credits

I believe this is one of the very few dating simulators that offer a multiplayer experience, and that alone makes Monster Prom an interesting game to play. When playing with friends it's almost like a party game, and when playing alone, it's like any other dating sim! I find it a seriously interesting novelty because not only can you help your friends pursue a certain love interest, you can sabotage or take away their date! (ᵕ—ᴗ—) Multiplayer aspect aside, the game itself has an incredible amount of scenarios, endings, and fun dialogue! The characters feel deep and have very fun/cute interactions with the player AND other characters, making them feel much more relatable. My only complaint is that routes are often locked behind RNG, this is something that I am personally not used to with dating sims, but it also makes the gameplay different each time you play so this might not be a con for a lot of you!

it's a fun, bite-sized game with elements of the dating sim genre for you and your friends to play together. don't expect a dating sim that actually takes the genre seriously.

iconic, amazing, incredible, awesome, multi player dating sim, everyones kind of awful but also everyones monsters so its so fun. A lot of secret endings and interactions to unlock
The start of a legacy...
Monster Prom is simple in concept, but has endless possibilities of fun, especially when other players are added to the mix. Will you be competitive about your prom dates? Or will you collaborate and go for different beaus?
The writing is quirky, and may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I can't get enough of it! The team knocked it out of the park to make somewhat of a diverse mix of genre's and keep it in a cohesive and unified package.

Could get tiresome and repetitive for long sessions
If this is your first dating sim, don't expect this to be the norm
Not sure if this is a problem on my end, but had a couple instances where online play was disrupted by getting kicked from the lobby.
The fact I have to get specific with the cons should speak for itself. 9/10
2010 vibes and I love it! High school me would have eaten this shit up!! Very much Tumblr, fun, nonsensical, irreverent humor, if that is your style then this will be right up you're ally!
Cons:
The game mechanics are abstract and rejection after rejection hurts when it otherwise seemed you were doing well. It is not fun to brute force, and it is not fun to have to look up guides to complete everything.
To mitigate: I think the best way to play is to have a third party explain How the game works like so. Most of the love interests have 2 stats that have to reach a minimum level. When interacting with the monsters, take in their personalities and hone in on the 2 stats you think will impress them!
This game is super fun and silly. If you want to play a game that is about monster high schoolers going to prom that are quite horny and a bit freaky? THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!

This has very easily become one of my favorite games. It has charming characters, super fun character designs, absolutely hilarious plots and side-plots and side-side-plots. It's strange, delightful, and appeals to a lot of what I'd want out of a game; typically I'm not huge on dating sims, but I'm really glad that one of my best friends recommended this to me because this is so much of an exception with the way that the stories and characters are. I've had a lot of fun with my friend(s) playing around on this game, scrambling to romance the character we've decided is our favorite for the day -- because, really, every time we think we've settled on a favorite romance-able character, we get oddly charmed by another one, too. 10/10, adore this game, very fun d:)
This game has absolutely unhinged humor sometimes (well a lot of times), but that's what I wanted.
Too much clicking away semi-funny jokes and not enough game substance to play with. Not my cup of tea.

To play a full 2 hour game with friends, where we each pick a person we want to date, and get to the end and all 4 of us crash out because characters have a main stat that they're clear about but also a secret second stat you're supposed to just guess they like and level?
Idk, I just wanted to have literally any success without having to metagame from game launch.
i go from abject horror to kicking my feet ang giggling within the span of literally like 0.1 seconds and that loop continues the whole time the game is running. big fan of the multiplayer function its super accessible for us plural folk lol

This game wasn't what I expect with all the positive reviews. I was grossed out by some of the "absurd" questions included in the opening quiz. Followed by the character description for the mermaid being that she loves to commit GENOCIDE. TF? Throughout the entire game the character's dialogue centers on slavery or genocide. Also how is this a game that encourages LGBTQA+ as the two choices for any interaction my male character had were only women. Yes, I could pick a different character to ask out but it would result in failure. Overall the game left a lot to be desired it's just boring.

I've enjoyed some other dating sims in the past, but something about this game HOOKED ME, and I an no longer a normal person about it. I love all the variations and different event outcomes, and the art is super cute. I could pass on the competitive aspect--it's fun to play with others, but trying to properly compete for someone usually ends in both people failing. But the times I've played with friends in a friendly manner is much more fun.
The OG is great but if you can only buy one get the sequel Monster Camp, it's peak
One of my favorite games, got it on my switch a few years ago, now I have the full nudle on steam :)
