This has very easily become one of my favorite games. It has charming characters, super fun character designs, absolutely hilarious plots and side-plots and side-side-plots. It's strange, delightful, and appeals to a lot of what I'd want out of a game; typically I'm not huge on dating sims, but I'm really glad that one of my best friends recommended this to me because this is so much of an exception with the way that the stories and characters are. I've had a lot of fun with my friend(s) playing around on this game, scrambling to romance the character we've decided is our favorite for the day -- because, really, every time we think we've settled on a favorite romance-able character, we get oddly charmed by another one, too. 10/10, adore this game, very fun d:)

I love it. The characters, the jokes, the funny interactions. Kinda hard to understand the game mechanics at the first try though, so feel free to read guides and all, it's really worth it

To play a full 2 hour game with friends, where we each pick a person we want to date, and get to the end and all 4 of us crash out because characters have a main stat that they're clear about but also a secret second stat you're supposed to just guess they like and level?
Idk, I just wanted to have literally any success without having to metagame from game launch.
i go from abject horror to kicking my feet ang giggling within the span of literally like 0.1 seconds and that loop continues the whole time the game is running. big fan of the multiplayer function its super accessible for us plural folk lol

This game wasn't what I expect with all the positive reviews. I was grossed out by some of the "absurd" questions included in the opening quiz. Followed by the character description for the mermaid being that she loves to commit GENOCIDE. TF? Throughout the entire game the character's dialogue centers on slavery or genocide. Also how is this a game that encourages LGBTQA+ as the two choices for any interaction my male character had were only women. Yes, I could pick a different character to ask out but it would result in failure. Overall the game left a lot to be desired it's just boring.

I've enjoyed some other dating sims in the past, but something about this game HOOKED ME, and I an no longer a normal person about it. I love all the variations and different event outcomes, and the art is super cute. I could pass on the competitive aspect--it's fun to play with others, but trying to properly compete for someone usually ends in both people failing. But the times I've played with friends in a friendly manner is much more fun.
The OG is great but if you can only buy one get the sequel Monster Camp, it's peak
One of my favorite games, got it on my switch a few years ago, now I have the full nudle on steam :)

Monster prom is so fun! From the board game style gameplay, to the amount of events and different outcomes, monster prom is a game that can easily be enjoyed for hours without buying any DLC!

Fun game, I've gotten a couple of my friends to play now. We always take longer than the estimated time because we like to voice the characters, and we get off track laughing at shit. The characters are enjoyable and there is a lot of content to unlock and endings to find, a lot. So you won't have to worry about it getting boring, while at the same time it's something you can set down for a month and not be jarred coming back to. Thumbs up from me.
This was my first ever steam game and honestly a great introduction to the site although if you get tired of being rejected there is a wiki
had a lot of fun with this and keep meaning to go back to romance different characters! cute art and story beats with a likeable range of characters, can lean a little bit cringe at times but can't we all 🌊🐄 (i would've eaten that shit up as a teenager though)

Oh geez, I really wanted to like this game. But it's so unbelievably STUPID. Jokes might be funny for a middle-schooler, the gameplay makes no sense, some parts are purely coincidental, some are just bluntly obvious and yet, the stats seem random. Wasted time, wasted money.
I've been rejected countless times, but now a hotred guy went to prom with me and I'm happy... but there are still a few endings and characters left, oh give me patience to find time for everyone

Very much so a novelty game, it's only fun on those special occasions that have the right people for it. But on that maybe twice-per-year time the occasion is right, playing this game with a group of friends is some of the most fun I've had playing a game. The humour is very much not family-friendly, but if it's the right humour for you and your friends, pick this game up (with the DLC!) on a sale and you will get so much more than a fiver's worth of fun out of it. It might look weird at first, but trust me. It's peak.

Look, I really like the art, the characters, and the humour of this game. I just wouldn't recommend it because it's damn hard and incredibly confusing. I had zero idea how stats helped the game at all, I didn't understand that choices are based on stats rather than personality or character preference, and it's frustrating to rely on the wiki for a game that should, at face value, be relatively simple to understand to allow for more investment in playing.
The shop also doesn't provide adequate description for what each item does. You kind of have to put your foot down and go, generally resulting in failure. Even though the game revolves around replay I never felt rewarded after yet another unsuccessful run. Every time I started getting into it, the game puts up another brick wall and stops the momentum in its tracks because I made a wrong choice and now my character's pants are around their ankles and everyone hates them and my god, I just thought the fire guy would like the dialogue option that included fire.
I'm sure it's fun to play once you have read the wiki and have an in-depth understanding of stat checks and builds. I just personally don't think anyone needs to invest that much time in learning the mechanics of a party dating sim.
You got a monster-themed dating sim, like you'd expect.
But what makes it stand out a bit, besides the multiplayer aspect, is that the game both pokes fun at itself and the genre, while also having some really touching character moments. Outside of one noticeable example ( Miranda ), all the eligible dates have at least a fair amount of depth, with the more complex ones usually being the more unexpected.
There's also a refreshing amount of diversity, when it comes to your choices; as an asexual myself, I love how almost every character has at least one secret ending with a non-sexual friendship/interesting dynamic, instead of just a one-night stand or being about sex.
