About the Game
You are Ina, a woman working alone as a gas station attendant late one night. Tonight just seems like another boring uneventful evening manning the counter, but in the pitch blackness of night things are falling into place, ensnaring you with glee into a sick, perverted, disturbing nightmare. It probably would've been best if you just hadn't come in for work, honestly.When I was in school, I used to spend a lot of time coming up with game ideas and writing them down in notebooks, creating supplementary material of what the games would be like with video tapes and cassettes, and starting to develop and then abandoning partially finished game projects in engines like Games Factory and RPG Maker. I'm Dusk Golem aka AestheticGamer, known in some corners of the internet as an absolute horror enthusiast and fanatic. But the truth is, once upon a time I was a huge scaredy-cat. I was convinced I hated horror because I was just too scared by it. Scary experiences would plague me with nightmares, but it also struck a strange fascination within me. I didn't put the pieces together that I actually liked horror until near adulthood, but I always had an attraction to the dark, to Halloween, to ghost stories, to nightmares, and to the twisted.
'Found Horror Game 11.exe' is a game compiling recreations of some of these scrapped games and ideas I wrote down in notebooks years ago. I've changed some of the details, for example some of these originally were fan games or used copyrighted stuff I could never sell and have replaced with original materials I have made and can use. None of the game's themselves are tremendously long (each around 15-45 minutes), but each one is crammed full of secrets. There is 11 games in all, with only Game 1 being available at the start. Once the community of players have met the requirements given per game and post them in the Steam Community Discussion Board for the game, I will unlock the next game for all owners to play.
Others games feature other protagonist, but all of who must reach the end of the game (but occasionally, there's more than one end to a game). Each game is different, but also similar. The ideas came from my nightmares... Or at least I think they were my nightmares, but what else could they be? I jotted them down in various notebooks of mine, recorded ideas I had for these projects on tapes and cassettes, and some of the ideas even went far enough along to get made into incomplete games I started then never came back to. But I'm coming back to them now.
The games themselves range from a simple haunted house simulator, to a creepy dating sim situation, and even a trap-ridden labyrinth of horrors. The scenarios themselves are varied, elusive, and strange, even moreso than they may first appear to be.
I want to share these games with you, and maybe if I do, it'll finally stop.
FEATURES:
- 11 small games exploring eleven separate but connected ideas, but with a unique gameplay experience for each one. Every game has a twist or two, and a unique creepy experience.
- A unique episodic structure experimenting with community involvement and unlocking more over time and effort.
- Loaded with secrets to find and uncover, and goals for the community as a whole to work towards and discover.
- An ominous air begins to flow over you. Things are not as they always seem, and an unsettling atmosphere will always keep you on your toes.
- An unnerving sound design featuring various artists along with a few original compositions, featuring voice acting for the leads. This is best enjoyed in a dark environment wearing headphones, call it a 'Horror Ritual' for immersion, if you will.
- Multiple endings to several of the games to experience, and unlockables.

here i am 3 years after the promised release of the 7th game after trudging thru the other bs games (cootie patootie excluded bc lol) and im so pissed off ive wasted my time trying to play this god awful thrown together mess of lamb of affliction, which is so grossly unintuitive you literally have to waste hours upon hours walking around VERY SLOWLY hoping youll stumble upon some kind of accidental crap to move the plot forward. i have grown a beard in the time its taken me to progress an iota in this game and im a pro at difficult puzzle games so it sure aint me.
he says the 8th game will be released this weekend lol. it this weekend. yesterday in his server OMG disaster struck him and a maniac came in while he was working wielding a knife and causing chaos and ruined everything so "the release may have to be postponed". of course all his fan girls are kissing his boo boo and saying im soooo sorry youre having to deal with this. if game 8 is dropped this year at any point i will be extremely surprised.
dont get me started on all the other games promised that were abandoned outside of this one, and all he does is give lengthy descriptions of games hes planned on his server and teases graphics and trailers and... nothing. more and more novel length synopsis garbage about nonexistant games and ego stroking orbiters who are cultishly obsessed with him for idk why.

As much as it pains me, I can not recommend this game.
There are some interesting ideas in here but those are more like demos of games that could have become possible bigger projects/their own things.
But as of now, and as has been pointed out in several other reviews/discussions: the full game is not completed.
There's not 11 games, last I played there were 6 and that was quite some time ago.
I bought the game when the fandom/community for it was already on the decline and the "find objects" to unlock more games never sat right with me.
As low as the price is, you are paying for a complete game and even after the community found all of the objects this game has not been updated.
If the style/stories does look interesting to you, it might be worth a shot but buy it then with the knowledge it is incomplete and, as it has been neglected for years, it doesn't look like it ever will be finished.
I am making this review in 2023.
Ngl I'm really mad we ain't at the 7th game now but putting that aside for anyone who has never bought this game yet. Lemme just say
The pros of this game are the fact that is genuinely scary in some areas, unsettling, fun, weird and genuinely something I have never experienced but absolutely love with all my heart. It's genuinely such an odd masterpiece of a horror game that sets itself apart from all other types and genuinely be an adventure to get through. It's like puppet combo games but not with such a big following behind it. But moreso a tiny cult following. But this game is genuinely one of the best with so many designs and different mechanics.
If I had to explain this game as some other game to not spoil nothing. It's as though someone took Revenge of the sunfish and silent hill. It's crazy. Goes to a lot of different designs and genuinely has such a scary/creepy undertone to everything
The cons however are what you must take in with a grain of salt. The last promise as far as I can see was 2021 in Nov saying this game will come out. The game is at 7/11 and we only have 4 screenshots to go off of what to expect. Game 7was to be completed and released already. We're in 2023. And if you feel bad for Ina (blue haired woman from episode 1). Boy do I have bad news for you. Because her story is not yet over and we're still at a saddening cliffhanger where we don't know where she is or if she'll make it out in the game. And sadly the communication for this game is awful and we have no idea when it will be finished and if it's the top priority game which is a bad habit he's got. And some of the areas. Don't get me started with how horrendous they can be to get through. I'm looking at you pure field. Holy schmackaroo they're annoying by design (however that can be forgiven since he did say it would be as it was very annoying to design. That was expected)
I want to make it clear. This is a great game regardless. The idea is so unique and well crafted. The horror is genuinely unsettling like no other. Some of the games sure af are way too difficult and confusing but are overall very entertaining both to watch and play. You don't know what the hell you'll see. But sweet mother of Jesus on a unicycle the bad habit the devil has of leaving this game like dad going for the milk jokes make it very hard to enjoy. This is a game I want to see finished. I love just about everything with it and wish I could play it on switch or something but this horrible habit is really dragging this game through the mud.
I plan on playing this game more in the future to see what I missed and update myself as well as bump up my hours. But I do know more than 3 hours worth after watching YouTube play this game like Riskrim
interesting concept but at this point it's basically abandonware. get it if you're interested in the existing games, but don't expect the full 11 games to be released, the last one was dropped in 2019. hopefully the dev comes back for it, but it doesn't seem likely.
Hmm, well first of all I recommend this game, I've had tons of fun with it, enjoying every game so far.
Found Horror Game 11.exe is an odd anthology sort of game where each game in the whole is released sometime after hidden objects (shapes) in the previous game are found by the community. There are some genuine scares and the story can certainly be intriguing at times.
That said it is a mixed bag with different styles. Some games more frustrating than others, some very gamey, some more akin to a walking sim, though all mostly rooted in the gameplay of what you'd expect from an RPGMaker horror game. Because of that I imagine there will be some who like every bit of it like me and some who like none of it, but I think the majority will find some things they like and some they don't.
It's also worth noting the puzzles, as you can clear the game and get all the endings without straining your brain too much. However if you want to dig deeper and join the community hunts for shapes in each game, the puzzles suddenly get extremely cryptic. There are still some shapes found and not, that even the community a long time after the release of that individual game do not know exactly how to get. I do think that is a strong point, having something there for those that enjoy a challenge, while making the game accessible to the average player who just wants to finish the game and enjoy the story.
Quite a large complaint is how long it takes for each game to be finished even if all the shapes are found. And that is a fair citicism, be warned you will likely have to wait a fair bit of time once you catch up. However, I believe the current content is more than worth the price and with much more to come I can't complain too much, as much as I want to play more now.
So yes, definitely recommended, I hope if you choose to buy that you enjoy the game and get sucked into the yaiverse and enjoy the rest of the games by the dev.
this is a very fun game to play with friends and several people, because the game has many mysteries and ways to solve the puzzles and as the saying goes "two heads are better than one".
But that just says that the game is extremely difficult and complex, and that's what makes it cool
As the title of this project denotes to, players were supposed to find hidden messages/codes within various RPG-oriented video games in order to unlock the rest of the games that the developer had prepared until end. If you have been following the development announcements, then you understand that the developer enigmatically ceased advancement of this product as well as feedback; frankly, this has just become another piece of abandonware on the Steam Store.

Game 2 literally doesn't work. Spent 3 hours with friends trying to figure out how to get behind the bathroom walls to find out in a tutorial it was bugged :) not to mention its a prologue for another game

I only played game 1 and started getting into game 2. The way the content is locked behind secrets is so much fun. Every time you play you will discover something new like a key which unlocks a new door. It's rewarding to play them over and over too because there are multiple endings. But not only ending the games is important. You also need to find hints to unlock the next game. People have to work together to find all of them. It's a community effort. I love it.
First off this game is doggy doo doo. This developer has a big stick up his ass because markipillar did not like the game lmao. In addition, the games are not fun at all. All 6 of them are garbage. It tries to be mysterious by having a spooky ARG, but instead its just a big waste of time. Most of the game revolves around walking around and solving puzzles. Its boring. This game is ass. Avoid it. Also don't get your hopes up for the games to be found. Its been 2 year since game 6. I don't think the other games are coming.
It's a collection of awful, pointless "horror games" most of which are just boring, confusing RPG Maker experiments. Nothing is scary here, except the developer's general disregard for the release schedule he himself created. Maybe the audio for Game 3 is scary, only because it was so awful to listen to I wanted to gouge my ears out. None of these games are fun, or unique, and the gameplay always consists of just aimlessly walking around until something happens to progress the "plot". The one game in this collection that I've played that isn't an RPG Maker game is just a crappy unity demo of a 3D world where nothing happens, and the controls don't work. I'm embarrassed I paid for this. If you enjoy being drip-fed rancid fecal-pap, pony up those four dollars, buckaroo, you're in for a treat. If you don't hate yourself, play something else that doesn't suck rectum through a tube.
Nice spooky game, but games take very long to get released! If the deadline is reached on a consistent bases it will get my recommendation.
Update: Since this review the games got delayed even further. I advise you don't get this game, as it is incomplete (6 of the 11 games are unlocked).
As of now, we're 3 months past the last mention from the dev of game 5's release, in which he gave a week ETA. His arbitrary conditions have been met and so far he's got nothing to show for it.
On top of that, he's got FIVE other games in the works, separate from this particular project, none of which have a definitive release date.
Ignoring the lack of communication, failure to meet deadlines, and clear desire to start and stop multiple projects without focus, I still cannot recommend this game.
The games are clunky to play, confusing at times, and some are just added on for the hell of it. The first game, attendant, is just a slightly enhanced version of an older game he made that is free and available to download online, while game 2 is LITERALLY a demo/prologue to another game he's making. Those two make up 50% of the current games available to play, out of the promised 11.
AND if you want to get the full 11 games, (7-11 not even having names yet) you need to find hidden shapes in the games. The dev is legitimately holding the rest of the games you're buying hostage until you find arbitrary shapes hidden inside the games, so unless someone manages to find all 3 of the shapes in the game and post them to the discussions page, no one is getting the next game. Of course, as game 5 has shown, even if someone does find them, there's no guarantee that you'll be getting them any time soon, if at all.
So if you're okay with paying 4$ to get 4/11ths of the actual product, all of which are about the same quality as free games you can download on itch.io, with no way of knowing if you'll ever get the rest of the games, then go for it.
I am rewriting this whole review because of how many people are annoyed that the players feel we have a right to play the full game even though the developer may have some things going on in his life and are in his discord and talk to him.
I joined his discord about a year ago or so to see updates on the game. All I found was him updating about six other games while also asking if he should make ANOTHER game. I felt bad when he said some things that were happening in his personal life, but then why does that make him unable to do his work for two years now? I am still trying to find the patience. When I first reviewed, the community had found all the items needed and he said it would be out soon. Took months. Then, when people found the answer to those he kept making excuses and again released it a crazy amount of time later when nobody even noticed. Finally, he still has not come out with the next game. He acted surprised it took longer than usual to find the items because you know who is playing this game anymore? Even though he said he had already finished the next game and it was ready to go last year. spoiler, not up.
In April, on his discord he asked by FAN CHOICE only those in the discord to vote which of the FIVE games he will focus on updating. THE NEXT DAY he announces two NEW games he will be releasing. are you kidding me?
Just wanted to say, the fanbase for yai will be big because he has so many games, but this game in particular no longer has a community like some people are saying. He has no more excuses. I am not even going to bother with this game anymore. Yai is a fool and wrong for thinking we can just stick around for years without asking for anything in return.
Very interesting bunch of horror games. That has sometimes had a weird condition to make something happen which could be frustrating a bit but I like this feature it keeps you to try a new strategy. They also contain very well done music that changes at the right time.
+ Game 1 begins with an empty atmosphere until somebody rings a phone and say some creepy/disgusting/threatening things. Then it seems you have a ´´fan´´ on your tail and you better be more careful. 7.5/10 would get jump scared again
+ Game 2 is a prologue for a hollow bliss which seemed to me like a memeable game but then was rather deadly.
This game uses third-person mode or a first person mode which is really interesting. For some reason when you wander around the garage door they just start flickering and killing your fps.
+ Game 3 Is an experience about love and hate. Game itself is more cute and annoying but horror is there too and weirdest of them all.
+/- Game 4 This one is about some guy in an apartments ? Watched by a (potato) creep and you have to stay still when he looks at you. Tough thing could be that you have one shot but at least your actions leave mark on that place. This game crashed for me once.
I have only bought it for the first game since it's probably one of the stronger ones. I hope we can get the rest of them unlocked. I can recommend it since its cheap and you will probably get the rest of the games. Only thing I dislike is when a developer moves to another game and these half-baked games he left suffers from it.
If you look through the news for this game....you'll see it's not finished....

It's a shame... I really enjoy the childlike drawings. Child doodles + Creepy stuff = fun times.
However, you're being lied to. Which I have a problem with... You're supposed to be able to play 11 creepy games.
And the COMMUNITY has to find these shapes in order to unlock the next game? So...they're trying to encourage people to keep playing--but not meeting their promised deadlines.
I find that insulting... but maybe that's just me.
(I might change this review later after they've actually finished all the games--- or not, because by then I might forget I even wrote this review.)
I really love Aesthetic Gamer's games, unfortunately I have a laptop that's over 10 years old and can't afford a new laptop. I was able to play the first game in this series but my poor old lappy couldn't handle the second game. I'm pretty sure that most everyone else's computer can certainly handle it. It's an old computer problem, not a game design problem.
These games emphasize exploration and attention to detail. Patience is key. There is depth to the story behind the games.
If you enjoy puzzles, exploration and digging to uncover a story then you'll enjoy these games.
I really liked this game for the fact that it includes the community and that there is so much to find, like in game one, I played it over and over and still kept finding new stuff, and i cant wait untill the other games come out!!!
