A Sandbox-Adventure-Pirate-RPG that takes inspiration from Pirates of the Caribbean (2003 video game), FTL: Faster Than Light, and Sid Meier's Pirates but makes certain to stand out on its own.

- Explore a massive world with unique islands and landscapes. Discuss rumors and discover the origins of each island by talking to the people that live there
- Expect the unexpected when at sea. Events you may be unprepared for may occur such as a foodborne illness among your crew. You'll need to have access to the right supplies and have the experience to keep your ship afloat
- A casual but real challenge - While simple to pickup and understand, there are numerous events that only an experienced swashbuckler will be prepared for. This makes the game more satisfying for long term pirates
- Thoughtfully executed cutscenes that help to bring the world to life as well as reward pirates that explore

- Sailing between islands is necessary to expand your control over the world and to increase your reputation
- Tending to the morale, hunger, and thirst of your crew will require you to maintain a supply of food/water and consider whether or not rationing food is required during long journeys
- Governing islands you've conquered is a difficult responsibility as you will need to solve economic issues before they get out of hand
- Purchase larger ships as you fight your way through the sea. Famously powerful vessels such as the Galleon and Man of War are but a few of the available ships
Bonus features
- Community translations and a translation tool that simplifies the process for contributors
- Unique leaderboard system that tracks your overall career as a pirate across multiple saves
- Quick access to developers for easy discussion/suggestions
- Save compatibility between updates

This feels like an untested, unpolished, not optimised port of a mobile or console game. The first sign for that is, that during character creation you have a keyboard on screen, which you can navigate with an invisible mouse cursor or the arrow keys. At least the physical keyboard also works.
But the in game controls are on some other level of bs.
Esc doesn't close menus, you have to use backspace. Why?
For users of non English keyboards y and z are swapped. Not too bad, just change it, right? Wrong! I don't know if it's laziness or arrogance but this is one game with the great design choice of not letting the player adjust the controls to their needs.
At least there is an option to make the cursor visible. Buuut it doesn't work.
Alright, the game still looks nice and might me fun after I've gotten used to the worlds second dumbest set of controls. So I started playing.
The first quest is do buy supplies. For some you get a recommended amount, for other you don't. Guys.. It's two minutes into the game, how should anyone know, what to do? But ok, just buy some and hope it'll be enough.
While moving around the island there is a graphical design, which is odd and i personally absolutely hate: The character is not centred on the screen. So every time you switch directions the camera jerks around to adjust for the distance.
Headache aside, let's move on. The next quest is to complete all construction on your island. Feels like a quest for way later, as you don't have the cash to do it.
Alright.. then..set off to the sea? Living the pirate life? Don't know. After selecting the next island on the map using the invisible cursor the game crashed.
All in all one of the worst gaming experiences I've had in a while and I really regret not having tested this game earlier, so I'd be eligible for a refund.
Please devs.. this game looks absolutely charming and has a lot of potential I'd like to explore. Centre the character and make these damn controls free to change. WASD QE and mouse is a standard most people find pleasant.
Aaaarrrrrr matey! it be a goodin
Interesting gameplay for a 2D sidescroller, I'd give it a go.
Unfinished and abandoned
I have always been a fan of pirate games since forever and seeing that this game is inspired by a bunch of my other favourite pirate games, I knew I had to try it out.
The game features a pixel art style with very simple mechanics of taking your ship to do quests, delivery jobs, governing the lands and sailing the seas.
I think this game has much potential to build more depth to certain features of the game such as governing the lands. I was quite excited to find out that you could govern lands but I was quickly disappointed due to the lack of depth for it. There wasn’t much benefits into governing the lands (for me) in which, I just did delivery jobs till I got my man of war ship.
I also encountered crashes when I wanted to undertake a deliver jobs in one of the lands. Restarted the game, press on the delivery job and crashed again.
In short, it’s a 3/5 for me
