KnightOut is a party brawler for 1-4 players!
Play with or against your friends in a frantic battle.
Half the battle is won by building an epic castle with deadly weapons and traps.
Charge into sword duels or keep your distance with long range weapons.
Battle:
Each game starts with both teams building a castle outfitted with cannons. Then, all hell breaks loose! Cannon balls fly, stone walls crumble, and your knight takes to the turf, slashing his sword. Once you’ve destroyed your opponent’s base and K.O. the king or queen inside, you win the round. You need three K.O.s to win the match. After each round you can rebuild your castle.
Story:
Play through several levels and defeat enemies as you expand your arsenal. This game mode is singleplayer or co-op. You will start your adventure in Braal Kingdom and travel through other kingdoms as you gain cupcakes after each level to unlock new worlds. It features a cute story with immersive cinematic cutscenes.
Arcade:
Defend your castle against waves of enemies singleplayer or in co-op with your best friends. Compare how you are doing with the rest of the world on our glorious leaderboards. The enemies will drop gold as you defeat them. Gold can be used to upgrade your castle after each wave of attacks.

This game is so much fun! and slightly addictive. Even though it contains weapons and battle , I don't consider it very violent or gory, so I'll definitely play this game with my nieces and nephews next time they come to visit^^
The game has friendly fire in co-op. Which makes the experience a joke. The coins disappear extremely fast and seem to determine how many stars you get. There's also gated progression which requires a set number of stars per map to progress. Not a very casuals experience for some local co-op.
There's also the problem when the game zooms out the entire screen is one big BLUR.
Its a fun game to play with friends and family alike!
The game can be a bit clunky and sluggish with its controls, but honestly its very entertaining! Looking forward to seeing what all else the devs share with us!
Best early access game to invite others over to play after COVID 19 pandemic!
I haven't been able to find a game online; however, Discord server is active and devs can help find players to play via steam. You can also PM if you'd like to play.
If you have kids and know what you are doing, you can go 2 v 1... 3 v 1 is a bit tricky. Devs are active on their discord and have stated to change respawn times later.
Bugs at the moment are not that bad, but yes, it's early access.
In any case, it's great for a KnightOut with friends or your kids locally. Just wear masks, wash your hands and game controllers.

Developers looking for feedback to add 3v cpu and 4v cpu arcade mode officially as well as 3v1 to base game.
The developers are still working on this game, confirmed to me in a discord DM. I hear the new version is coming out in a week or so, I'd say the game is worth checking out in its current state while it's on sale.
FYI my experience is all local co-op, which has been pretty fun. My GF owns the game and we'll usually play on her PC.
Game does not offer online multiplayer and will not in the future, nor will it offer it for the Switch when it comes out. Very unfortunate, as this could've been a game-changer for the developers. Therefore, I cannot recommend this game in its current state.
This game has been on my wishlist for some time, been anticipating it's release as it looked to be a fun sofa game.
Graphics are fun, but the gameplay doesn't inspire... spend 2mins to build a castle and can destroy them in about 10 seconds... repeat.
No online match making, so can't easily play 2v2's if you have 1/2/3 people locally... refunded after 30 mins playtime, which, for a game I've been waiting for... probably says it all!
It does have potential, though... maybe with some balancing of weapons etc and some more depth to the game, it could be worth while.
