The game had a good concept but i could never get a full room and always had to wait 10 minutes plus to get a game going. Would enjoyed it more if the rooms were always full. Thats what it was supposed to be.

So i'll start my review out by saying that i did buy the product originally an recieved over 10 copies for free to give out after maybe a few months an then contacting the developers after finding out they had a discord.
You'll find that my review is based off of what i've expierenced in the game an with the community.
Pros
- First off the game is insanely fun it's a 2.5d game like any other game that has a quick to finish feel you find yourself wanting to play it consistently.
- There's little to no bugs that i've expierenced, An the bugs that do exist tend to be kinda funny more then game breaking.
- They do events with the community which i think is super cool an interactive.
So those are the few pros that i do have for the game as sadly in this review the cons weigh heavier then the pro, But for the sake of people trying to game out because it does deserve a chance i'll recommend it.
Cons
- My first con is that there's little to no community, an there was never a community to begin with. This causes matchmaking to be infinitely long. With maybe 1-2 players coming online to check it out.
With that taking into consideration the events do help but sadly people are only on during the events because of streamers or youtubers who're playing the game. Aka Friends playing with friends.
- The Developement team is non-existent. I did announce my proposals to the developement team that could help the game dramatically I did suggest going Free to play. I was swiftly declined only to find out recently that they did end up going Free to play. Exciting right? Sadly no, It was more of a last stand. This says that instead of originally taking someones advice which at the current time would've probably brought people to the game, They decided to give up on the game an go free to play.
- Another touch on the developement team is that they have a Representative who answers all questions etc. The actual developers don't seem to really make a approach towards the community. If the community isn't worthy of you why would we be worthy of your game?
- When the game was P2p after contacting the developers i had recieved 10+ Keys forced down my mouth with a promotional pack to support/advertise the game. What's wrong with that? Nothing too bad it's just the matter of fact that they should've just originally went free to play to begin with if they were willing to giveaway what seemed to be thousands of dollars worth of keys to streamers as i was not the only one extended this hand.
Besides that there really isn't any pros or cons to this game. When it was p2p you only paid the brass otherwise 100% F2P
Now it's 100% F2P Without paying for the base model. Games overall good, Sadly the developers whether it be that they don't know english or that they don't want to get indebted into the community. They just don't want to show that they exist. An for me personally that's a no.
TL;DR
Gun Mechanics: Great. Your typical 2.5d style game, Arrow keys to move tab to inventory.
Shot To HP Ratio: You take Dmg but it'd be considered skill based to kill someone as 1 shot isn't 1 kill.
Bugs: Tiny ammount nothing game breaking.
Model: Nearly flawless UI, Feels like theres no delay.
I personally think my review was bad this time around.

Mini Battlegrounds is a top-down battle royale game.
Like in all battle royale games your goal is to be the last-man-standing.
There is nearly no one playing this game, it had a all time peak of 160 players and does now barely reach 10 players per day (https://steamdb.info/app/658470/graphs/).
I was not able to find a match (minimum is 6 players).
So I would say that there is no reason at all to get this game, because there is no one to play with.
From what I have seen on youtube gameplays the graphics are nothing special and the movement of the character is really slow. It does actually look pretty boring.
Look for some other battle royale games and stay away from purchasing this.

Cute graphics
The game have rifle,cars,skins,crates and more.
But the game have 1 problem
Little players in the game.
For find a game you need 6 players
You need luck to find match.
But if you will find a match you will enjoy the game.
Your Choice.
Loved this game. Loads of fun. Games don't take long. I played with a large group of friends queueing solo together and we had nothing but laughs. You earn rewards rather quickly. You don't feel like you have to grind out cool cosmetics. Especially good game to get the Discord server together for a night of solo rumble.
Honestly a fresh concept amongst the "wave of battle royals"
id love to work with IOA Games and help them produce some steam icons and such
No ingame purchases, just pure grinding... needs a few tweaks but other than that
such an amazingly fresh feel to 1 v 100 games
id love to see some more character customization (face, hair, ect), would also love to see a reward for EA (early access) players...
Other than that, the game just lacks popularity (youll end up waiting 10 minutes for a game with 6 people) but obviously that will change with publicity and more people buying the game... $5 is a good price, i wouldnt have paid $10
Really bad movement replication (aka non-existent). Do your research on common multiplayer prediction practice before making a multiplayer game. It would make it 1000% more playable.
I wondered why there were only 6 players online. Well obviously I can't move 2 steps without rubber banding 3 steps back.
Would be nice if i could play. I mean even if it was Me VS bots that would be alot better then being in queue. Literally the 30 mins i was on .... It was trying to get into a game. I wish i could of tried it.
it is true it has very low population for the moment but for me the game came out of no where bought it soons i seen it so im sure once people start seeing it more peeps will join its a great game if u dont have it i would def recomend buying it i mean it is only $5 bucks best $5 bucks u will spend
Love the idea of the game but really needs to add bots of some kind to pad the numbers at the moment cause hate literally only having like 6 people playing total and not being able to start a round
I think it is nice, but no one play that game, 20 minuts waiting to play...

I would reccomend it if more people played, but atm it's under development and barely anyone plays so it takes forever to get into a game and play. Otherwise, get it! It's a great game to play with your friends.
Mini Battle Royale game!? Suppppper fun! Looking forward to seeing what the devs bring next. Love the chibi style to it as well. Very simple to understand.
Even if i asked for refund i will give this little game a thumbs up ... there are not enough players at this time for this game to be fun, i played 1 hour and 45 minutes where just waiting for other players. Other than that ... its a nice small and funny little game, and i suspect that some players cheat even in this game ... so maybe later on i will get back at this game. If you like isometric view games you should give it a try, battles are now 6 players, controls feel a bit weird, i could not set any graphic options and it seems not to run on full screen ... but this game has room to grow if people get behind it.
This game is awesome I mean duh its an Early Access game so um perfection is not here, however, this is not going to change I can feel the game improving and it is very addictive because it gives you the thrill of a BR game at the same time you can be very casual with it. Fortnite has its strategy with building and PuBG has its massive landscape well this game has very fun ways to kill ppl and to give a gamer a break from the try-hards. If you do happen to find try hards well then just grab a van and run them over um yes!!!
I have had a ton of fun playing this game so far! It has started out with a good core system to work with and I think that with some updates and tweaks it can be even that much more fun. I would love to see a run function thrown in, that is deff one thing that I think it is lacking. But blowing up people in cars as they try to run you over is quite rewarding.

Pros:
Art style is original and gives the game a unique feeling, even though it's very closely modeled after PUBG.
Controls eventually click when you learn them, giving a fluid feeling as you play
Combat is fun and engaging
Cons:
Not enough people :( Queue's are long and it can take a while to get into a game. And then, the game is only 6 people. Can get boring without more people.
When entering houses, it can be difficult to find doors and items as walls block things all the time.
More variety in the map!
Overall, I think the game can grow into an excellent little diversion from the other battleground games. With a few more design alterations and more people playing, it can be special!
For 5 Dollars, you really can't go wrong. Controls are different, a little strange, but you catch on quick, and its a new take on a played out game style. Try it out

Keep it windowed looks bad full screen
Reloading takes a tad but it seems to work well with a slower pace of game
The in-game main menu is dope
No player base at the moment-- but its easy enough to Q up and put it in the background --- people need to understand this and be patient--at the moment it only starts at 6 or more players.
